The food could’ve been better. However, the ambiance was nice. I really enjoyed the clam chowder, hot rolls and bread pudding.
Food came out cold, I ordered the lobster bake, which was a heaping amount of food, but the clams were ice cold and there was a random half sausage on my plate? My companions agreed their dinners while edible were not remotely close to the level of quality their prices command. This place is a dump.
Sat at the table about 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Clam chowder came out chewy and sandy. Fried haddock raw on the inside. Ordered baked stuffed lobster ($50) and had to crack into it myself! They tried to switch my sides around. Steamed broccoli and boiled potatoes with NO seasoning. I had to question the manager about it and she was less than friendly. Will NEVER go back and will spread the word about the biggest waste of money!
Went for the lobster leap-day special that was advertised online. The lobster itself was delicious, but we did not get the choice of sides that the online ad suggested. Service was good, but extremely slow--slow to be greeted, slow to get drink order and get drinks, slow to come back with a dessert menu, slow to bring our check. The restaurant was extremely busy, as was our waitress. I would come back on a less busy day to give this place another try.
Always fresh, always well-prepared, always a great meal. Servers are polite and friendly, and the food is always delicious.
We are huge legal seafood fans but had not been to this one before… Service was fine but my meal was subpar and disappointing. The vegetables were cool and the salmon seemed overdone I did report the vegetables being cold and they got me new ones after a several minutes. I expect more from this brand ...will not return to this one. Things seemed tired including the decor and very scratched table top.
Wonderful relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed clam chowder, Wellfleet oysters, and crab cakes for our meal. Always fresh and appetising.
Had the grilled halibut average piece and good. Broccoli under cooked and rice side not even warm. We liked the rolls . Quite noisy. Oysters good at 3 dollars apiece. My companion had the mixed grill which had a lot of fish but presentation was fair. I guess I expected more from Legals!
Food was excellent - and our server was so nice, I wish I could remember her name. We had a nice table by the window and everything was perfect, I have eaten here before, and I will definitely eat here again.
Surf and turf special and the seafood casserole were excellent
No complaints about anything
Jordan, our server, was very attentive and competent. The food arrived fairly quickly and was just the right temperature. We never wanted for more water, bread etc.
Overall, a very delightful experience.
Food was excellent.
Waiter seemed like rookie & knew little about the menu.
We had to check Yelp photos on our phone before ordering
Very conveniently located, good food, and very good waitress. We enjoyed our dinner very much and recommend this location.
Our server came to our table often until the meal was served then disappeared. We waited over 20 minutes for our empty plates to be removed after we were done.
I would recommend Legal for the food, but, in our case, not for this server.
We had a great meal. Excellent seafood and I loved the sangria. we were headed to the Theater and the wait staff made sure that we mede the curtain. Thank you Legal for a gracious dining experience.
A nice place for an afternoon get together
The room was somewhat cold.
Great food and service! Crab cake was the best I’ve ever had!
Everything was awesome, made the reservation for my dad’s 60th birthday and they gave us the Governor’s room. We had a very good experience, and our server was extremely nice - I am sorry we do not know her name, but she was great. Thank you for everything!!!!! Recommend 200%!
The waiting staff were lovely but staff at the reception desk were very unwelcoming and off hand. The atmosphere was very rushed and chaotic.
Meal was delicious, service was outstanding (Michelle)
First time eating at Legal Seafood. I don’t see myself going out of my way to go back. My boyfriend got the filet mignon and he said he really enjoyed it. I had oysters they were properly shucked and tasted fresh. My main meal was the halibut steak. It was very disappointing, over cooked, dry and tasteless. It came with two triangles of polenta one was cooked well and tasted good the other was burnt. Service was average and the cocktails were alright.
Food and service were both good. Restaurant needs a re-image as it appears outdated.
We love coming here. The staff is efficient and friendly. And, important for us, they are very gluten “knowledgeable”.
The only issue is that we were seated at a table directly behind the hostess station and, at times, it was very cold. There is a double door entrance that is ineffective in keeping the cold out in the winter. There needs to be either a temporary panel or curtain during the winter months.
I hadn't been to a Legal Seafood in quite awhile but my memory was that I have generally enjoyed them. Memory was correct. We had a delicious meal with outstanding service. The grilled scallops were so tender. Our server was attentive and cheerful. The only minor negative note was that the music coming from the speaker over our heads was all disco from the 70s and 80s. Not sure how that happens.
This is our favorite Legal Seafood restaurant! The food is always fresh & delicious and we love the menu. Drinks are excellent! A very busy night being Valentines Day and everything was fabulous! Staff is terrific, from host, hostesses, waiters & waitresses!
