Average food really for the price , the seating is too close .They’ve obviously positioned as many seats in a small space as practicably possible . Not my favourite Asian restaurant in Melbourne.

We decided to order the tasting menu for a special occasion. I had dietary requirements, my husband had none. We informed them beforehand in writing and over the phone and when the waitress greeted us we advised them again that one of us would do the normal tasting menu and one of us wanted to swap out a few dishes due to dietary issues. There was obvious confusion as this didn’t happen and we had delays in the serving of the food and we had to send back some dishes. We were disappointed in the crab meat rice roll main which we thought would be the star of the tasting menu. The crab meat was non existent. All in all it was expensive for what it was. We even ordered the egg plant as an extra dish and that wasn’t crispy. Servings were small and in hindsight we should have ordered ala carte as the portion sizes were much more generous. We had food envy looking at other tables. Our waitress was lovely though and apologised for the confusion of our meals. Footnote even though our food was slightly discounted for the food issues, we discovered later that we had been charged extra for the 2 dishes I swapped out for dietary reasons!

Creative, tasteful, balanced, wonderful food. The caviar and crispy duck skin entree was one of the best starters I have ever eaten. We decided to only eat entrees so we could try a lot of different things. We had 6 entrees and then ordered a repeat of the 2 that we liked the most. The service was great and sitting at the chef’s bench was an amazing experience. Food prices were reasonable and so were the drinks. If you don’t try this restaurant then you will miss out on an amazing experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family dinner here. Each dish was delicious. Service very professional & warm. Highlight is, of course, the crispy eggplant!
