Excellent food makes up for an awkwardly slow service night...based on our entrees, I have to imagine that if the restaurant was properly staffed, it would be 5 star excellent. Must give it another try.

We had eaten here about 15 years ago and remembered how wonderful the food was. I am happy to report that the food was just as amazing. We had the baked Brie, wedge salad, lamb chops and completed the meal with chocolate soufflé. Our waiter,Bob was excellent and his recommendations were terrific! I highly recommend Le Chambord!

The food was fantastic. Filet was cooked perfectly and crab cakes were fantastic. The only drawback to the experience was that we arrived at 4:57pm for our 5:00pm reservation and were initially told “we do not open until 5.” Then we were asked to wait in the bar while they finished setting up for dinner. After 25 minutes at the bar we decided to leave. If they had not seen us on our way out the door, and told us we could be seated at that time, we would have left without eating.

With great warm weather we changed our seating assignment from inside to the terrace. From that moment on, everything was perfect... the food, the wine and the ambiance. Our waiter was as entertaining as he was efficient and assured a wonderful dining experience.

I was skeptical to try this restaurant because it had no reviews on OpenTable . It was my husband's birthday and I decided to take a chance and I'm very glad I did. The food was Excellent!! Our waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The dining area was small but comfortable. I'm looking forward to going back soon.
