Le Plonc - Melbourne

Fabulous food - loved all the dishes we tried. The smoked salmon crumpet was delicious as was the prosciutto platter. The real highlight though were the tuna tartare and the kingfish cerviche. The fit out is amazing - like sitting in home beautiful.

Le Plonc is a dining experience, we cannot fault the restaurant in anyway.........have travelled the world and eaten in many superb restaurants and Le Plonc is on par.

Waiter tried to sell us a particular bottle of Bordauex about 3 times during our meal. servings were a lot smaller than expected and we needed to call down the wait staff a number times for drinks etc. Not enough wait staff for the number of people.

Exceptional and delicious food, with superb presentation. Restaurant fit to be featured in Gourmet Traveller magazine - it was that good.

Absolutely beautifully presented delicious tasting menu, the only let down was a number of wines from the wine list were out of stock, due to a very busy time of year.

amazing design.brilliant sommelier selling a very expensive but extensive wine list. food amazing, small and slightly overpriced, but stunning....once was amazing, probably not again due to $$$$$

Lovely furnishings & decor. Food was delicious but service let the experience down a bit. Unfortunately there was only another table of 2 guests when we went for lunch. This was probably because it is a new restaurant. Definitely deserves to be busier. Hope to come back again.

Such an amazing experience! Food, ambience and service all faultless. Portion sizes are a little small, the only very slight negative. We will be back, and soon!

Celebrated our wedding anniversary. What great ambience, atmosphere and diligent staff that know the enticing menu. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed and made to feel special.

Was a quiet night as half of the suburb was at the footy but the food quality was awesome

The only comment would be to dim the lights slightly to create more atmosphere. Otherwise outstanding :)

A lovely place to enjoy an excellent lunch in elegant surroundings. The 3 course lunch special was fantastic value for money, we particularly enjoyed the beetroot salad. Expect the portions to be small however this was perfect for 3 courses. The service was attentive, thoughtful and friendly. We will definitely make this a regular treat!

Wonderful experience for a mid-week lunch for a friend's birthday. They made us feel very special. The service was personable and attentive, lovely staff. The quality/taste of both food and wine is outstanding. The ambiance and setting is also perfect. The only thing that can be improved is the size of the portions, which are quite small (e.g. we had the ravioli and there were four (of about two bites each) on the plate. Otherwise, perfect experience. I'll be making it a regular.

We really enjoyed our visit to Le Plonc. We had the tasting menu which was amazing. The quality of the food is excellent and the selection of wine was also very good.
