Good neighbourhood French bistro with great tastes and small plates - worth a visit
Lovely intimate little restaurant. Staff are friendly efficient and helpful and the food is very good - really tasty plates.
Simply amazing couldn't recommend it any higher. The lamb is divine the chicken and black pudding is delicious. Service is fantastic and the venue is elegant
We just love the small plates at Le Perroquet there is great choice on the menu and one dish nicer than the other. The Aligot is just simply sooo delicious
Excellent lunch, the menu is brilliant, so refreshing to see in Dublin where nearly every menu is the same.
Food was great! Really nice restaurant, and will definitely be back.
Such a cozy and nice restaurant. Really good French tapas.
Very poor tonight, really nothing went well until dessert, just really disappointed with seating, service, food, and wine. Dessert was nice, especially Le Cinema, but can’t recommend based on tonight’s experience.
Many thanks for taking the time to review your recent dining experience. Obviously we are very disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy your time at Le Perroquet. Just had the most lovely evening here. Great food and great wine in a lovely cost restaurant. We sat at the bar and it was perfect.
French style dining. Nice for a couple to swap and share plates as they come. All food was very tasty. Small dining area but adds to its charm and ambiance. Service was flawless.
Really beautiful plates of food. Everything tasted divine. Dessert was the highlight. Super attentive service made for a really lovely dining experience.
We dined at the bar because it looked more fun than the table we had booked. It was exquisite food, and we not only enjoyed the cocktails, but also some really well-chosen glasses from the wine list. Everything was so beautifully judged in terms of size, flavour, and texture. And the staff were professional AND fun. We had a great night!
Lovely cosy restaurant with nice bar area. Great wine list and tasty foods. Not sure if I'm a fan of the plate/menu style. Ordering multiple dishes not knowing when they will come out is not French but not really tapas.
Fabulous- tried a variety of small plates - highlights were the salmon tartare and Parmesan mousse and egg dishes but everything was excellent.
Friendly but unintrusive service, interesting menu, very tasty may not want to share. Room is warm and inviting, worth trying out. Nice pub nearby for pint before also
The food is truly delicious - looking forward to sampling the new menu!
Nick & Colm and all The Team have created something very special here! Well done Guys!
Fantastic food. Nick is the perfect host and also makes great cocktails!
Good food and excellent wine. Portions are small even for small plates. Side was bigger than some of the mains. Delivery of food was very slow at 20:30 on a Saturday. If we weren’t sharing the timing would have been a problem, 10 minutes between the two “starter” dishes arriving. Overall enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back but probably on a quieter mid week evening.
It was very enjoyable and the service attentive. Like being in Paris!
Very good food in a fun atmosphere. Staff really friendly and knowledgeable. The decor is quirky and the Jacques Tati movie is the background was great.
Good food with small portion. If you are ungry you will have to get more than one :-)
Dear JeanClaude, Very many thanks for taking the time to review your recent visit to Le Perroquet. We are delighted you enjoyed your time with us. As a Small plates restaurant, we always suggest that guests would select approximately 3 small plates per person & given that our plates start at €4.50 each we feel this is a very affordable option. We hope to see you again soon, Best Wishes, Nick, Chris & all the team at Le Perroquet.
We had a lovely NYE dinner here. The food was so fresh and delicious, and service was friendly and relaxed. The whole atmosphere was really pleasant and would return.
Third time visiting. Exceptional service, fantastic food and great vibe and atmosphere.
Great food delivered in stylish and unpretentious surroundings. Will be back!
Went with five friends and had such a lovely sharing meal. Ordered many plates but kitchen staggered them perfectly with the best combinations served together. Great night.
Have no idea what this concept is ... eat in host a lot and they do sharing plates ... this is completely different ... really difficult to navigate the menu and the staff are whilst friendly unable to help you with choices and at one stage without realizing we had 4 dishes of potatoes for a course !!!!!! Couldn’t tell you what the food is like as the portion sizes are beyond small, they make Guilbaud’s look big . Table next to us agreed they were having the same experience ... hard to get a refill on a glass of wine ... will never be going back ???
Thanks for taking the time to review your recent trip to Le Perroquet. You clearly didn't get the concept of our restaurant & bar. We DO NOT serve "Sharing plates"-we are a SMALL PLATES restaurant (which is listed on the sign outside & on the menu!) -individual starter size portions which are charged from €4.50 per plate up to €12. We advise our guests to select 3 to 4 dishes per person. We wish you well in your future endeavours dining elsewhere. Happy New Year, Best, Chris & Nick
Great food, shame about the house music, didn't really fit the surroundings.
Great new place in good location near Leeson Street Bridge. Small plates are a brilliant idea. Lots of options and flavors. Very good value for money. Nice French ambiance. Recommended.
Overall it was very enjoyable but the food, which was lovely, had cooled down a bit by the time it was served at the table.
Great smaller restaurant, the little plates are gorgeous, plenty of food and super reasonable price. Service great also
We had dinner for two on Friday evening. First time there. Definitely not the last time . Probably the tastiest food we have had in a long time. The small plates just work . Loved every dish.
Well done !
Fab evening at ale Peroquet as ever
Loved Le Perroquet. Simple french dining in a really lovely setting. The small plates are brilliant for sharing with plenty of choice overall. Had a really delicious meal. Moderate sized wine list with a super variety of french wines. Great bar selection. Friendly and helpful staff and a great atmosphere. Had a small request which Nick went out of his way to facilitate. A super new spot on the Dublin restaurant scene! Already looking forward to returning.
Govthere for the ambiance which is tremendous
The food is very very good and tasty
You are free to order as many plates as you like
Excellent place for a nice night out
This was my first time at Le Perroquet and it was wonderful. The small plates is a great idea and such wonderful flavoursome food. The service was excellent, very attentive. It was also wonderful to go to a restaurant where you can speak to your fellow guests in comfort. I will definitely be back. Thank you.
Food and service perfect, a good place for cocktails and dates for two
Five stars for everything here. From the minute we walked in I felt like I was in France the ambience and decor was fabulous and the food was too notch. The Menu is small plates so it's great for sharing and getting to try different things ,We had 7 dishes between two if us which was plenty and washed it down with a bottle of Fleurie wine. I would 100% recommend this place and can't wait to return to try more of their delicious dishes
Incredible Food, service, and ambiance, love this place!
