Great place, great food
I was in this restaurant first time with my son and his girlfriend and all of us were very disappointed with the food we got scalops which were very salty,fish /sea bass/very dry and taste of sauces was exactly like sauces from spagetti with meatballs.We also order plater with cheesess but the portions of cheese was very very small but the cost of the food are very high compare to quality of the food so that was our first and last time there and of course I won’t recomend this restaurant to anybody.
They charged $100 more than I signed for.

There should be more focus on cooking, steaming the vegetables evenly. I found them either too soft or not cooked at all.

Food is delicious, as are the drinks. Definitely pricey, but it met our expectations.
We were in a rush, but needed to grab a bite. The staff was very accommodating, and the food was great. We will definitely be going back.
Food was okay, overpriced for the taste. Salmon didn’t have much flavor, and scallops were nothing to write home about, but both were okay. We were not happy with the wines that were part of the wine flight. My date did not drink the three reds. The cocktails (we got the Green Goblin) tasted purely of jalapeños and was very difficult to drink.
I called prior to arriving to make sure they had my credit card information and would just charge me directly so I wouldn’t have to deal with the check with my date. They misplaced the information, so that was an unpleasant experience. Also, how do you just MISPLACE someone’s credit card information? That’s security threat to me now, so I might have to cancel my credit card and get a new one, which is a hassle for me.
The waiter came by every 10 minutes to check in on us. It was WAY too much, we were just trying to enjoy the meal. My date made a comment that it seemed like he was flirting with us, it was that bad.
Overall, a very subpar experience after paying over $200 for a meal.
The moment I walked into the restaurant I felt the ambience engulf me in a soothing way. It’s beautiful and the wait staff are of good demeanor as well. The food was not only delicious but also decorative in a way that was pleasing to the eye. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone dining in downtown Los Angeles! Superb!

This is a sensational new hip restaurant: beautiful, fabulous food, attentive service. Two Greek brothers head this establishment and have created some wonderfully interesting and new takes on Mediterranean cuisine such as a watermelon touched Greek salad, a crusted spinach pie and many other delicious dishes.

overall experience was very nice, the food was outstanding. The service was very nice, friendly and attentive. The only thing that i would like to mention, the service was slightly rushed, even though the restaurant was not that busy. But we enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this restaurant.
Ceviche was AMAZING AS WAS SCALLOP CARPACCIO! Beautiful cocktails and attentive service. Octopus was too salty. We sent back and chef agreed. I will try it again next time.

Great food and service. Was helped by Justin and Lauren who were both delightful, informative and attentive. Spanakopita and Greek salad with watermelon were fantastic. Atmosphere was upscale, trendy, with nice darker lighting.
I discovered this gem just after it opened. While I like variety in DTLA restaurants and there are many from which to choose, Le Grand is a wonderful restaurant at which to dine on any occasion especially before the LA PHIL, the Ahmanson Theater, the Rams or Dodgers. They have choices in every cuisine from vegetarian in Mediterranean or salads, fish, fowl or steak. Convenient parking is next door for $7.00 in the evenings.
The service is awesome; attentive but not intrusive. Cameron gets recognition for his dutiful execution and genuine interest in his customers. Very helpful for wine recommendations. Go here. You won't be disappointed. GZ

Le Grand is a sparkling diamond in the LA LIVE area food scene. Only one block from the Sheraton Grand, LE GRAND provided me with a spectacularly delicious fine dining experience in the midst of a very hip area of Los Angeles. Alex and Chris Manos are offering some of the most incredibly palatable and innovative meals that I’ve enjoyed in some time. We started off with a King Crab appetizer; lump butter poached King Crab was surrounded by a Mango Chutney and Hawaiian Salt. The spectrum of flavors was awesome. We then moved to the Manos Brother’s version of Burrata. An ‘egg’ of buttery Burrata Cheese was wrapped around a pesto with sliced peaches and bursts of pistachio, enveloped in 30 year old basaltic. OMG. Our entrees included a 45 day dry aged, grass fed Tomahawk Rib eye, perfectly seared on the exterior and medium rare on the interior, yielding a nutty, rich, salty, fatty array of flavors. The other entree was Fetuccini Tartufata, a brilliant spin on the original with a sauce derived from Porcini and Black Truffle, enveloped in a dusting of reggiano parmasagne, and topped by the Chef with a generous portion of sliced Truffle. He also layered sliced truffle on our perfect Tomahawk Rib Eye. Our only side was pure genius, brown butter mashed potatoes. We had two wine flights, one Rhône and the other Italian. Service was impressive, friendly, and professional. Seriously, have dinner at LE GRAND. If you are tired of the same old New American Cuisine, LE GRAND will provide perfectly executed, innovative meals which provide you with a rainbow of delicious flavors. This kind of innovation should be rewarded.

Food wasn’t very good at all and so paying a lot of bad tasting food made it worse. We just returned the dishes after a few bites and paid our bill. Nice servers though.
Food s very tasty here. I enjoyed my lobster roll and my friends enjoyed their meals as well. They have bottomless mimosas on the weekend but they are not truly bottomless they control how many you receive. I overheard patrons complaining about this in the restrooms. Overall the food and ambiance are great. The guitar player they had on Sunday was excellent and truly added to our experience.
It's tricky. There service was exceptional and it was a pleasant dining room but it seemed a little overpriced. Then again, I'm not from LA and hear food is expensive there.
Everything on the menu is phenomenal!!!!! The drinks are amazing!!!! It is truly a gem!! Loved this new restaurant and can’t wait to go back for more. My only suggestion is to add a couple of desserts that don’t involve fruit. Bring the baklava back!!!!

It was a wonderful experience, came to have Bday brunch for my friend. Decor was nice, live music playing was delightful, service was awesome & food was delicious. My only complaint was there was a fly that was constantly roaming in the room & was annoying & unhygienic. I would still go back & hopefully that time d fly is a no show😜.
Service was good excellent from the bar tender to the waiter to all that attended us. Even the chef came out and spoke with us to make sure we were happy. The food was great!!!

Overall a very nice restaurant. The staff was somewhat attentive, but service was slow. We received side dishes before entrees. Which was a bit odd. But staff was nice enough to provide a Birthday dessert and sing.

Sadly because the place is wide open the Lee were gnats flying around us. We were moved but there were still anointing gnats flying around. The food wasn’t that flavorful and they missed on creativity of flavors. Won’t be going back and very disappointed.
What a great find! We enjoyed every aspect of the experience. First, the service from our server Lauren was fabulous. She was outgoing, knowledgeable and interested in us. Second, the ambiance of the room is very attractive and extremely comfortable. Even the music playing was in the background and added to the experience. Third, the food was excellent, tasty, unique and beautifully plated on very unique dinnerware. We have always wanted to find a quality restaurant downtown for pre theater and sporting events and this is exceptional. It made for a great start to a Saturday evening.

Everything about this place is a perfection - design, service, presentation, and above all quality and taste of food. Unbelievable attention to details in EVERYTHING combined with perfect taste. Truly exceptional venue in DTLA.
