Everything on the menu is phenomenal!!!!! The drinks are amazing!!!! It is truly a gem!! Loved this new restaurant and can’t wait to go back for more. My only suggestion is to add a couple of desserts that don’t involve fruit. Bring the baklava back!!!!
It was a wonderful experience, came to have Bday brunch for my friend. Decor was nice, live music playing was delightful, service was awesome & food was delicious. My only complaint was there was a fly that was constantly roaming in the room & was annoying & unhygienic. I would still go back & hopefully that time d fly is a no show😜.
Service was good excellent from the bar tender to the waiter to all that attended us. Even the chef came out and spoke with us to make sure we were happy. The food was great!!!
Overall a very nice restaurant. The staff was somewhat attentive, but service was slow. We received side dishes before entrees. Which was a bit odd. But staff was nice enough to provide a Birthday dessert and sing.
Beautiful space and food presentation. Judd, our waiter, and the staff were attentive and gracious.
Sadly because the place is wide open the Lee were gnats flying around us. We were moved but there were still anointing gnats flying around. The food wasn’t that flavorful and they missed on creativity of flavors. Won’t be going back and very disappointed.
What a great find! We enjoyed every aspect of the experience. First, the service from our server Lauren was fabulous. She was outgoing, knowledgeable and interested in us. Second, the ambiance of the room is very attractive and extremely comfortable. Even the music playing was in the background and added to the experience. Third, the food was excellent, tasty, unique and beautifully plated on very unique dinnerware. We have always wanted to find a quality restaurant downtown for pre theater and sporting events and this is exceptional. It made for a great start to a Saturday evening.
I love this place. I will be coming back. The waiters recommended great good options.
Everything about this place is a perfection - design, service, presentation, and above all quality and taste of food. Unbelievable attention to details in EVERYTHING combined with perfect taste. Truly exceptional venue in DTLA.
not sure what I was expecting but the food was far better than I expected. and the ambiance is definitely good for a nice date out or a hangout with a group of friends.
Had the Dine LA lunch and it was fabulous! You should offer a lunch prefix meal to drum up business. The coconut poke was divine and my spinach pasta yummy.
Went for DineLA and it was a near perfect experience. Food was beautiful and delicious. Service was friendly. So happy I went. Regular menu seems a bit pricey.
I came here with a few coworkers for DineLA. Food was great, everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The interior decor was also very nice. But the service was sub-par, and that is my only complain. It was difficult to get our server’s attention, a different person took our order than our server, and there was a mix-up for our dessert order.
Excellent services. Great food. We had DineLA menu,so it was a great value
We were a party of 5 that there for DineLA. Three of us had the Waygu burger, which was actually good, however each one was different. Only one had the grilled onions, and we all wanted them as it came with the burger. One of the burgers was ordered med-well, and it came our rarer than my medium-rare. That burger also had a greenish tomato rather than the red ones the rest of us got. So, the overly rare burger was taken back and replaced with a different burger which was only about med to med-rare. But, it had the grilled onions. One in our party got the pasta, which was served without Parmesan cheese, so she asked for some. We got billed $2 for the cheese. We also got billed for the extra burger that replaced the too rare one. At least they resolved the bill without an argument. One additional note--as we were awaiting dessert, a server dropped off a small side of grilled onions with the guy who didn't get any but didn't want his burger replaced.
The food was actually decent all around (especially the avocado toast), but the kitchen was a huge failure here. You can't serve three different styles of burger to the same table that orders the exact same thing. And, to not catch the obvious billing errors leads me to believe this place will not be around more than a year. Many at our table thought about 6 months...
Went for the dinela dinner. The food was amazing and service was just as good too. Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to and I look forward to eating here again!
I've already recommended it to a few people since I had lunch there an hour or so ago...FANTASTIC! Service was impeccable, Alex came out and spoke to, was extremely gracious, and treated us to something quite special. The food was superb, the wine & wine selection wonderful, the service was the best I've had at a restaurant in sometime. I will definitely be back...soon!
The food was creatively prepared and artfully presented, and the service was attentive and friendly.
Great food and service - the quality is outstanding!
Such a pleasant experience. Can’t wait to go again with friends.
This restaurant was just lovely. The lunch was amazing! Our compliments to the chef!
The presentation of our food was beautiful and every bite was delicious.
We were thinking our server might have been new to the restaurant as she had difficulty answering any questions we had about the menu.
This is an amazing restaurant with iconic chefs, delicious food and very good service. I would travel to LA any time to experience this again.
Great food and great service. Very nice new restaurant worth trying. We had a great time!
Great neighborhood place. Some course outstanding, e.g., the Buratta. Main courses were excellent but modest portions. Knowing this, I would recommend.
First time trying this restaurant! Food was delicious, the Salmon and Chocolate Dessert were perfection!
We went with friends visiting LA from Singapore. The restaurant is very new but we all love Mediterranean food so decided to give it a try. It was delicious. The sesame crusted feta was a surprise. We all would recommend it.
Service is bad and slow. Prices are high... Manager is horrible and doesn’t know how to provide good customer service.
Surprisingly good food well presented in a very comfortable setting. Service was perfect and knowledgeable.
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and freshness of the menu. So much so that I’m going back again for dinner tonight to check out the dinner menu.
It wasn’t busy but service was attentive and professional.
each of the dishes was presented on the plate as work of art and they tasted just as good as they looked. from the appetizers to the main dishes and the dessert there is no let down in flavors. you will not be disappointed
Dishes were hit or miss, the burrata ceviche and cacio e Pepe we’re all delicious. The octopus and cauliflower we could do without. Would try again
This was my first time at Le Grand. I took a group of 6 for lunch. We all very much liked the food and the restaurant is very nice. My only constructive criticism for this restaurant is that it took very long for us to get our food and drinks. Our reservation was at 12:30 and by 1:40 nobody had their food. A few people had to leave in a rush back to their office and had to take their dessert to go. Everybody felt rushed at the end because everyone had to get back to work. With the downtown crowd I think getting everything in a timely manner is very important. I would recommend it for dinner if the service will be slow but not for lunch. I hope they fix this issue to avoid the fate of the other 2 restaurants that have been at this space in the past couple of years.
Everything was Fantastic, the hostess was nice, the bartender Courtney was on it with our drinks, the manager Tiboh introduced himself and was extremely nice, the food was excellent. Our server Lauren could brush up on the menu and a bit slow, but we were enjoying the restaurant and ambiance, therefore I give her a pass. Definitely will return but will request different server or sit at the bar.
Wow! What a great new restaurant. The food is to die for! Unforgettable flavors! I highly recommend their ceviche. Great service with very attentive staff.
An excellent dining experience - even for discerning diners. Decor is lovely, service attentive. Plus easy, inexpensive parking in a lot right around the corner. We will definitely return.
I welcome the change from TOMGEORGE to Le Grand! The menu is delicious. The pita with the smoked ricotta is an amazing way to start the meal. The have the best pre-fixe menu in downtown LA hands down. I have been there twice and both times got the Branzino because it's so good. I think they will have to add more salad options for lunch. This place will definitely be one of my new go to places for client lunches.
Love this place! Modern decor, modern twist on classic Mediterranean staples. Service was spotless and attentive from all staff on the floor.
Exciting new venue with a dynamic flair- excellent place to drop in for dinner & drinks before the Ahmanson theatre. Easy parking - only a flat rate of $6 in nearby garage.
Management is terrific- French and Mediterranean menu.
Sensational visually & scrumptious wine menu
Wonderful! They are one of the only places I’ve reserved on Open Table that actually acknowledged a birthday without having to say anything in person. Loved that! Delicious food, really excellent and affordable wine list with true gems well under $100, and gracious service. Cacio e pepe was incredible and the rib eye was best steak I’ve had in a long time. Only my husband’s grill skills compare!
Overall great addition to the dining scene of LA! Exceptional food, service, wine selection! This will be the next hot spot in no time
