Friendly staff and yum food but I mainly come for the ambiance ! Great vibe!
This was my second time to Lazy Su. I'm a vegan so very much appreciate their vegan menu but I had the vegan banquet this time last year (my first time to Lazy Su) and then had it again this time and the quality of food and Flavours this time was not nearly as good as last time.
We went for lunch for our wedding anniversary and had a great time. Restaurant was busy but not loud, has good sound proofing so didn’t have to yell at each other, phew! Food and service were 10 out of 10. Staff are excellent, friendly and attentive without being too friendly. We had cocktails and lunch specials for two. Diverse clientele, couples, families and individuals. Highly recommend! Parking is an issue though, Braddon parking is always bad for all restaurants in the area. Recommend to book and leave enough time to park, or catch a bus.
One of our favourites whenever we are in Canberra!
Really enjoy our anniversary evening at Lazy Su. Great food, excellent service and amazing cocktails- we’ll be back!
Busy busy busy. Make sure you book! Staff were great. We did the tasting menu which was great value but wouldn’t do again. Pork on the pancakes was really fatty. The last dish was a cold noodle salad which I found strange but the rest was really lovely and a good way to try the menu. Keen to go back and order some other dishes.
Normally not a great lover of Korean food but this was very tasty & imaginative Asian fusion. Lots of great combinations. Certainly would return. Very popular, make sure you book.
The food at Lazy Su is always delicious and served quickly. If you’re looking for a quick meal with great food and a fantastic atmosphere, look no further. You’ll get great value for your money.
Thanks for a great Sunday lunch! I’m still talking about the Nutella Gaytime Bao
This is not our first foray into Lazy Su but our first experience ( just after opening) was so awesome it’s now one of our fave’s and we have returned many times ! Great food, atmosphere, service and wine list ensures a really enjoyable night out ! Recommend to all comers
Lazy su is awesome. The food is fantastic, a creative blend of Chinese and western cuisine. The bao burgers are to die for. Can't wait to go again and try more!
Excellent food and service as always. Lazy su is consistent
The food was fantastic and the service was good. The portions look a little small but they are filling and full of flavour. The music was a little loud.
Lazy Sui never disappoints! The cheesesteak spring rolls are the best food ever invented!
Great food, especially the Wagyu Cheesesteak Spring rolls. A bit loud, which makes conversation a bit difficult.
Great spot and good food but our table quite crowded with six in a booth. Would prefer to sit somewhere more suited to a group our size.
Lazy Su never disappoints - we have been there five times now, and although it is never a cheap night out, it is always a tasty, surprising, and inspiring time. Great to hear that they are 'having a baby' soon - Lazy Su is one of those restaurants that you are thrilled with knowing that they are thriving, because it means they will be around for us to enjoy for a long time to come!
Came to Lazy Su for a friends birthday. Two newbies to the restaurant and now claiming its their new favorite place. Plates don't look like they would feeda number of people but they sure do fill you up. I love Lazy Su, glad to see it thriving!
Great food great drinks and you must try the cheese burger spring roll
Outstanding restaurant. Food was amazing and it was child friendly. Cocktails were ine of tge best I've ever had. I have been there a couple of times already all with a different group and it is still amazing.
Hard to get a booking and its easy to see why. The food is amazing! We shared sashimi, wontons, the pork pancakes and the baramundi. Each dish was knock your socks off and fabulous. Lovely wait staff who were very helpful with the cocktail menu.
So good I would literally trade my first born for a banquet.
Favourite restaurant in Canberra. Always recommend when someone asks for dining suggestions.
We recently had a birthday dinner at Lazy Su. The food was excellent, fresh and vibrant. There were vegetarians and vegans in our group and there was enough choice on the menu to make everyone happy. The wait staff were great, attentive and super friendly. Our only (and significant) complaint was that the very loud thumping music that made conversation really difficult and because of this we wouldn’t return here. What is it with this Idea?? People don’t go to a restaurant to sit and eat in silence because they can’t hear each other, they go to interact, socialise and enjoy good food together. The age range in our group was from 21 to 60 and everyone had the same complaint. It’s so ignorant of venues to do this, it’s often difficult enough to talk at restaurants with the new industrial designs that don’t absorb sound so just the noise of talking can be significant, but to add loud music is just ignorant. Sad because this is otherwise a great restaurant, but none of us will be back.
I ate different things this time and the result was the same, bloody beautiful. The food is well priced and amazing.
Very tasty fresh food. Good variety on the menu. Best for sharing, large serves. Fried rice delicious. Very busy recommend booking a table.
Amazing food, so tasty! Reminded me lots of dining experiences I had in Japan and I’m a massive fan of the authentic, modern Asian dining experience! The ambience was amazing! Defientally will be back! :)
Awesome food, had to wait a little to pay at the end--maybe not quite enough staff on? It was very busy. The Nutella Gaytime Bao is a dangerous find!
Simply amazing, exceptional service, amazing food.
Absolutely delicious, super friendly staff, what more could you ask for? Get there as soon as you can, and then go again and again!!
It's always great here. Really enjoy the cheese steak spring rolls. Rest of meal is fantastic.
Really nice, quick service with a great feed. Very accommodating even when we were accidentally 30 minutes late.
Everything was really nice.
only complaint was that the main meals came out way too fast. We had just gotten our entrees and then the mains came out we had to juggle the plates around on our small table.
Will always go back to Lazy Su for the amazing ramen. Took a friend to Lazy Su for the first time who said the ramen there was better than what he had in Japan. The ramen is LIT!
Great place! But if you are after a place to sit and chat after your meal, this restaurant is not ideal as it only has short booking windows.
Amazing!! Cheesesteak spring rolls, fried chicken bao, duck breast, chicken ramen, golden gaytime/Nutella bao! This place is one of my all time favourites
This visit was back up to standard! I was so glad to have the great service I’d become accustomed to, and piping hot dishes! Cocktails continue to be fabulous. The only hiccup was that our meals and one cocktail had arrived half an hour before my friends’ cocktail, but that was quickly resolved :)
We were staying on a little getaway trip from Sydney. Got the tip from some local friends and were not disappointed! Great food, drinks and a cool place to be. Some nice veg options and the fried chicken ramen was excellent. Staff were both friendly and efficient.
Amazing food!!! Have to book in advance as they’re always busy but totally worth the wait. The food was very creative, and good sized to share different things. Would not hesitate to go back again and again
Staffs are too busy to attend your table unless you stop them. They are also too busy to check whether all of the orders have arrived. I had almost finished my main when my partner decided to stop a staff to ask why his main was not served yet. Apparently, the staff who took the order was over confident that he didn't write down our order, but then he missed my partner's order. So it had to be re-ordered. Staffs were again too busy that I had to grab my own cutleries from the cabinet to eat my dessert that had ice cream that was starting to melt because proper cutleries were not served.
Food was over rated. It was untasty and bland with not much ingredients and protein. Had to ask for salt and even with extra salt it was still very bland.
