The heart of our kitchen lies in the coals of our Asado grill.     The good ….lovely restaurant, comfortable , intimate ambiance, service was attentive but not over the top….duck fat potatoes scrumptious, greens mouthwatering and desert was a lovely way to finish. The ‘below expectations’ were the steaks, looked less than appetising , no crusted exterior and quite frankly looked as though they had been sous vide before being grilled. Taste was ok and in fairness had a nice charcoal flavour but something was missing fir a restaurant of this quality . Overall it was a good experience but I doubt if this is the best that Hobart has to offer . If I was to give a score out of 10 it would be 7.5, but if the steaks lived up to everything else this would have easily been a 10.

    Was a special night for our anniversary we’ve wanted to eat here for a long time being a chef I’ve heard this is the best place for a steak Entrees were lovely but the steak was not waygu rump cap was 150 g max and my wife’s scotch was 10 mm thick and poorly cooked they deducted the bill but for the price they should be serving perfection which they didn’t !

    We recently celebrated our 10th anniversary at Landscape restaurant and could not have been more satisfied with our experience. The combination of beautiful paintings, subtle decor, warm ambience and service and FABULOUS food made us feel truly special. Highly recommended.

    We went to Landscape to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had a wonderful time and the staff were very attentive. I have requested a birthday dessert and they designed it beautifully. We are definitely be back in landscape.

    Absolutely outstanding, being a fussy eater I don’t stray far from basic foods, first time I’d tried wagyu also and everything was cooked just perfect even the lettuce had a hint of char grill and salt, the drinks were high end and also didn’t disappoint- so impressed over all with the food and service I booked again on the way out 11/10
