At Landscape Restaurant & Grill, right in the heart of Hobart’s Hunter Street waterfront precinct, we create an unforgettable dining experience.

The heart of our kitchen lies in the coals of our Asado grill. Here, our experienced team, led by Head Chef Nathaniel Embrey, sear aged local wagyu, tender Tasmanian lamb, freshly caught seafood and other premium ingredients, creating masterful dishes of unrivaled flavour. Adding to the unique quality of our dishes is the distinctive environment in which they’re served – the historic walls of the original IXL Jam Factory, surrounded by the iconic landscape art of John Glover.

    Our party ordered different steaks and they were all fabulous. Sides and desserts were delicious too. Staff very friendly and attentive. Lovely dining room.

    Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Hobart. The staff were all so lovely and made sure our needs were met. The atmosphere and ambiance was absolutely wonderful, the perfect spot for our anniversary dinner. I am not a wine drinker but love a sweet drink and their wine expert nailed it on the head with the moscato he presented me. I had the 200g eye fillet as my main with bernaise sauce and it was probably one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, by far the best bernaise as well! We mentioned in our booking it was our anniversary and the staff made us a beautiful plate with their signature chocolate balls to wish us a happy anniversary which was especially lovely. If you are considering going here do yourself a favour and GO! You will not be disappointed.

    The restaurant was simply stunning especially with the paintings of renowned landscape artist John Glover adorning the walls simply breathtaking & the ambience was romantic & intimate, was the perfect restaurant to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary & the restaurant supervisor Ms Cathy Si who organised our booking superb, & our waiter Ethan simply outstanding & on our future visits to Hobart this is definitely our restaurant of choice, thank you Landscape.

    My husband and I stayed at the Henry Jones hotel and went to Landscapes to celebrate our wedding anniversary and birthday. We are beyond words to describe our experience. The service, the atmosphere, the wine, the food. All incredible!! Thank you to the fabulous staff and in particular Ethan who looked after us this evening. We can’t recommend this restaurant enough. After eating in many beautiful places around Australia this is by far the BEST experience we have ever have. Thank you again for making our night so special

    I booked for my wife's birthday whilst staying in Hobart, as l had been recommended Landscape by friends. Landscape exceeded all expectations - the food was phenomenal (best Kingfisher sashimi!) & service was excellent by staff. Atmosphere in the restaurant quiet (but not too quiet) but just right. You could walk around & view all the art work on the walls & the waitress gave us an overview story of the artwork. Highly recommend this restaurant for those who like fine dining experiences ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
