Landmarc at the Time Warner Center
Surprisingly, Landmarc now offers wine by the glass. Good, unfussy food at moderate prices and great service. Somewhat noisy on a crowded Thursday night, but that was the only (minor) drawback!
Sorry to see landmarc closing. The neighborhood will miss it.
I have been a longtime patron. Saddened by the upcoming departure, I have scheduled a few business lunches. I had the chicken/bacon sandwich. The chicken was barely cooked and had no taste. Since it was a business lunch, I ate the roll/roast tomatoes and some of the bacon (lots of fat).
Sorry to see you go downhill on your way out.
Landmarc is my go-to place for business lunches. Noise level is low, service great and food is always excellent. Great location.
Not busy but servers were more interested in conversing with each other. Happy hour option not mentioned. Paid $ 18 for child’s pizza when 2 tables over it was $10. When mentioned to server he sent over a snappy hostess who said nothing could be done. I was celebrating granddaughter graduation. Disappointed
Wie schon vor anderthalb Jahren toll. Lecker, toller Service, alle Extrawünsche berücksichtigt. Und das Kind mit einem extravaganten Dessert (pinke Zuckerwatte) glücklich gemacht :)
Great location, fun buzz but pricey for overall food quality and definitely loud.
Cocktails are well put together.
Awful experience. How is it possible to have service that slow when there is no one else even dining? It was recommended as “good for kids” which is why I went but the food was terrible. I sent my shrimp cocktail back, the shrimp were like old rubber. I will never go back.
I am obsessed with the chicken burger and their pickles.
Bartender and server were great, but the food was mediocre, especially compared to the price.
Prior to this visit at Landmarc on June 7, 2019, there was no was no question in mind where husband and I wouldn't give Landmarc a full 5-stars. This time around since the announcement back in April, we've made 2 reservations (Jun 7th & Jul 19th) for our 5-year wedding anniversary & for my husband's birthday with our 4-yr old son. However, our dining experience, particularly with our food fell short and was quite disappointing. The 1/2 dozen of Shrimp for appetizer- Poor plating (messy) with inconsistent or obvious mix of various shrimp size: 3 small shrimps 1 medium and 2 jumbo size shrimps. We both got the same main dish which was the (2) shell steak frites... both of our shell steak entrees were served to us in room temperature cooler than cool and tasteless. And a side of broccoli a rabe was ridiculously bitter to a point whereby it stings in your mouth so we had the waitress take it back (waitress did removed item from our check.
Delicious meal! But - more children than I would have expected at a fine dining experience- so, it was a little loud... But, the food and service were both AMAZING!!
Food was average all around. Servers were pleasant, but meal took awhile to arrive.
ALWAYS A NICE PLACE TO GO BEFORE THE JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER SHOWS.
WE HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR A DECADE OR MORE.
Delicious. Very sad that they are closing
Everything was very good but I did not get the booth I requested.
Although food was good, the place didn’t live to what they sell on website. The place is really big and not exclusive for such prices. I didn’t really need a reservation because they seat people at any table at all times. People come in with any dress code (sneakers, sandals, sweat shirts, etc...) kids run around. Nothing different than your chain restaurant (red lobster, Olive Garden) but with overpriced food.
I was really looking forward the food, which was not bad but it wasn’t excellent. I got carbonara pasta, which is my favorite. Complete disappointment! No taste. No taste. No SAUCE!!! Three pieces of bacon and a bunch of watery butter. The salmon my boyfriend got was pretty good. We also ordered a wild mushroom pizza. Very good. Probably the best thing. Desserts were nothing special. Tiramisu had caramel instead of coffee. I was celebrating his birthday, did not feel like the place was a place to a special occasion. It is your average get-something-to-eat-place-if-you-are-shopping place.
Wish portion were a bit bigger. But overall had a great experience. I would definitely come back and recommend it to my colleagues and friends
This was always one of my favorites back to when they first opened and I love taking people there ... however the service was terrible this time and once she took our order, she was never to be seen again. I don't think we even got a bread basket. This was frustrating since I wanted another glass of wine and finally asked for a manager after 15 minutes. Honestly, I felt like I could have been in a self service cafeteria (albeit delicious food).
We were visiting New York for a long weekend and wanted to try Marc Murphy’s restaurant. The pastas were wonderful! We also had the hummus appetizer which was very good. Only thing I missed was some bread with either the appetizer or the meal. The Tiramisu was very good also.
Early dinner before a show. We had reserved a table for 2 and were placed in the kids section. Thankfully it was ok even though there were plenty of tables in the nicer area and we were dim on the fact we would be leaving before 7.30, in fact we left at 7. Food was well cooked and service good. Thank you for dinner.
Great experience and amazing waiter!!! John was amazing and very attentive. Will definitely come back.
Our service was not great. Food was lukewarm - ordered filet mignons and the butter did not melt as the steaks were not warm enough. Child portion was small for our 10 year old - cheeseburger was slider sized.
Good food and service
The restaurant was so loud, kids crying, didn’t realize it was a family-oriented restaurant. Was looking for elegant, quiet ambiance. Food and service were excellent however.
this place has become a money factory: minimal menu (all the good items like sweetbreads and tartare no longer there), small portions of mediocre food, tables squeezed together, service minimally courteous. used to be our go-to in time warner center, not any more.
Great food! Expensive - they charge extra for anything. Great service and ambiance. Selection is pretty limited though which was almost a deal breaker for me.
TERRIBLE. Walked out before we were even seated. There were plenty of open tables, but the hostess would only seat us at a shared table with a family of four. My husband and I had a reservation. We wanted a nice meal in NYC. This is not the restaurant for that. When we asked if we could have our own table, we were told no. So we left.
Our server John was phenomenal
A decent brunch here, but the service really left something to be desired. We've eaten here before and often find that the somewhat cool, disorganized welcome when we arrive is an indication of the service attitude in the restaurant. No one really seems to be genuinely happy to see you when you approach the podium, and so it's hard to be that excited about what's ahead. Having said that, the omelette, pancakes and eggs Benedict our group of 5 people had, as well as the coffee drinks we ordered, were all quite good.
Went there for brunch. Great service, great staff.
You should hurray and make your reservation at this wonderful restaurant. Unfortunally it is closing in July. We have celebrated many time in the last 12 years and we will miss this wonderful establishment.
Very expensive for what was a lackluster dining experience.
Food was mediocre at NYC prices. Restaurant was more casual than I expected. Service was good.
Always my go to place for brunch. For years, never disappoints.
Outstanding ambience, venue, food and service. Only thing is menu is limited so would be great to see a few more apps/entree options added!
Serice, food, staff - all excellent. Too noisy for much conversation.
We ordered main course salads that were drowned with dressing. Awful.
The skirt steak portion was very small. The beans served with the pork chop had such an intense smoky flavor that they were impossible to enjoy. Landmarc is a food factory and not an imtimate, fine dining experience.
