Ladurée Beverly Hills
Ice cream, pastries, macarons
the food was good, although mine was cold and should have been hot. The service was very slow. when i asked for a refill of coffee, they brought me coffee that was cold and when i told the server, he actually felt the cup to see if i was telling the truth????
i think the pastries and macarons are great, but after 3 or 4 times of eating there and always being disappointed, i will probably not dine there again. one time in the past they had no jam for the croissant at breakfast, another time they actually didn't have coffee and we got up and left.
I really enjoy Laduree in Beverly Hills. The team is intimate and helpful and the food is consistently great. Thank you for making my wifes birthday even more special. I look forward to our next visit!
My mother and I had a wonderful brunch today 6-1-2019 at Laduree Beverly Hills. I was a little hesitant going here, since the service reviews weren't that great, but decided to give it a try. We ended up having a great experience. The staff was friendly and service overall was great. No complaints (and I'm not one to shy away from commenting if something goes wrong or isnt up to standards). I look forward to going back again.
Service could have been a little bit more attentive on their part. They did sit us down pretty quickly and we did receive water fairly fast, but no one took our order until we asked. Presentation of the food was excellent and overall, it was a pleasant experience and will definitely go again, regardless of service received. I recommend the iced rose latte, it was excellent.
tasty, colorful, pleasantly quiet -- and convenient; my lunch partner picked up a hostess gift while we were there.
Sadly Laduree is not a good representation of the famed French parent. Madam Souchard would be rolling in her grave if she saw how inept and slovenly her BH restaurant was operated. The macaroons and baked good are delicious but the service is non existent on the morning of May 15, we tried to enjoy to the cuisine but the staff and kitchen were not up to the task of providing the service I have experienced in Laduree in NYC & France . First off there was only 3 patrons in the establishment and yet it 10 minutes before we met our waitress , who was nervous and unkempt when she approached . We order the the signature French Toast and pink avocado toast. Then we waited and waited and waited almost 20 minutes and nothing came out of the kitchen. The staff seemed unconcerned. We were the only 2 patrons in the restaurant and the kitchen was doing nothing. I asked about our food to the waitress who then went back to the kitchen never to reappear again. At 30 minutes we had no food and to go to work. Now help me understand how an empty restaurant could not after 30 minutes prepare and serve there signature dishes? This is not the way to run a restaurant, let alone one with a famed reputation !
We had brunch on Mother's Day--one of the very challenging days for any restaurant--and it was fantastic. The brunch offered options, we chose the salmon eggs benedict (on brioche toast, with superb hollandaise), which came with a lovely basket of various croissants, a fruit compote, tea sandwiches and juice as well as coffee/tea/chocolate. All were delicious and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and polished--despite the crowds of Mother's Day.
I know Laduree's original tearoom in Paris, had not visited this location before. It is charmingly decorated and tres French. The pastries are also highly recommended. What a lovely spot and a perfect Mother's Day brunch.
We went for Mother’s Day - I would have given 1 star and have left if not for amazing waiter came to rescue
- the host was most condescending rude, nasty manla
Since I had received a call the day before saying they were booked to please be on time - I live close and ended up 8 min early
The “ host / maitre’d / poseur/ comes up and asks if I have a reservation( in accusatory fashion and I say yes / happen to be early and he says “ then you must leave and come back later !” Didn’t even ask our name what time is your red or anything- literally said “ leave “ I wouldn’t and still was polite .
Then I gave my name which he made me repeat 5 times and seemed annoyed
and he said “ you are lucky “ ( so lucky because we didn’t have to leave and he waved us / couldn’t be bothered to seat us- pointed to a table outside and said “ go there “
We find there are 5 chairs at 2 mini tables that seat 4
So I returned to him and said “ that’s a table for 4-
I made a reservation for 5 “
and of course he got nasty and told me I was wrong and said “ I have nothing else!”
and I asked if we could wait for a larger table since we were early and again had a reservation for 5 not 4, and just cause u put 5 chairs at 4 person table doesn’t make it for 5 ppl
I said “or push another unused table up to our too small table ?? He just went on his power trip of “ no and no!!” And I would have laughed because it was so nasty and I’ve never experienced this type of behavior in a restaurant any place in the world by a guy whose job is to seat you -
Thank the heavens for Adam the charming server making everything ok -if it weren’t Mother’s Day I would have told the fam- “let’s go anywhere else “
It’s a lovely place with delicious food. Just had a mediocre experience with service and
The seating for 7 people was not good.
This was our first time dining at Ladurée and while we’d intended to order from their Tea Time menu option, we opted for their brunch menu items: avocado toast and the chicken sandwich which came with a side salad and French fries. The food was ok, slightly bland but the service and ambiance more than made up for the food. The tea selection was also impressive and their desserts were exquisite. We ordered so many desserts that we ended up leaving on a much appreciated sugar high. Overall - I highly recommend this place for lunch or breakfast.
Loved everything about it. Can’t wait to return.
All in all, fantastic! Love the place, the staff and the food!
I loved the French feeling of the place. The coffee was very good. The Avocado toast was tasty. The pastries we ordered were good, it was a shame they did not have the Almond croissant. The staff was polite. The place is a bit noisy. Nice for a late coffee with the hubby.
Felt we could discuss business without being overheard... lively shop, food delish with GORGEOUS Desserts and good coffee!
Fun experience at Laduree Beverly Hills Tuesday afternoon for tea time. Food was very good, but the finger sandwiches were a bit on the dry side. Service was great. Definitely not-rushed, just as tea time should be like. Looking forward to our next visit.
We had an incredible breakfast. Each entree was cooked to perfection! The raspberry French toast is a must for the table to share!
This is all my fault. I was expecting Paris and it was no Paris!
I was a bit disappointed when I arrived for my 5:30PM reservation and was informed that the kitchen was closed. I was told that I could order from the to go pastries but not food. Unsure as to why I was even able to make a reservation for "Dining" when the Beverly Hills location has very specific sit down dining hours. Although the manager was not "rude", he wasn't the most welcoming either.
Amazing service and very accommodating! The Frenchtoast is amazing. Love Love Love this restaurant.
When I arrived for my reservation, there wasn't a greeting or acknowledgment. The staff only seemed to feign interest when I said I had a reservation. We weren't in a rush, so we weren't too bothered by being seated 20-25 minutes after our reservation time. However, what truly frustrated us was getting double charged. Thankfully, we realized that we got overcharged, and drove back to get reimbursed. Overall, it was a poor experience from start to finish.
The service was fantastic! The lunch was delicious and everyone enjoyed the Laduree experience!
The food and desserts served here are amazing. The presentation is truly lovely. So enjoyable.
Fabulous ambiance. Great service. Nice presentation. Friendly staff compared to The Grove.
Just a girls get-together before all the thanksgiving frenzy begins :) Always a big fan of the Eggs Benedict and croissants at Ladureé.
Five star service, outstanding customer service. Me and my didn't have to ask for anything. The Chef outstanding.
Fabulous menu. Superior service. Coffee service is unique with the little pitcher plus separate little milk pitcher. Uniquely presentations on each plate. All of the foods chosen were Delicious!!! All five in the group were very happy with their choices. The size of servings were "just right"...not too large, nor too small.
I had an event during the day near by Beverly Hills. I wanted a nice breakfast/brunch with my mom prior to the event. The Laduree was perfect. There was no wait. In fact we were the first ones there on a Saturday morning. We sat in these oversized white wicker chairs with pink cushions. Really cute atmosphere. The waiter was nice and really soft-spoken so we had to really strain to listen to what he was saying. He didn't write down our order which I think was an issue. I ordered tea and my mom ordered coffee - both were great! We ordered 3 mini croissants which were also great but he didn't give us any plates to put our croissants on. Then the main dishes arrived. My mom ordered the french toast with apples. It was delicious (she let me have a bite)! I ordered the avocado toast. Now I looked at the menu prior to arriving and I saw that the avocado toast included a poached egg. But mine was served with scrambled eggs and lox. It looked and tasted too good for me to say anything to the waiter about it but here lies the issue with not writing down our order. Once we were done, we had 4 macaroons - rose water, pistachio, orange blossom and caramel. Rose water was my favorite. I don't remember ordering caramel. I'm pretty sure I ordered vanilla, but here again is the issue with not writing down our order by our waiter. Two things that I liked about our experience: The prices were reasonable for Beverly Hills and the portion sizes were decent as well. I'd give 5 stars but the waiter needs to write down the orders and speak clearer.
Food is delicious and service is great but I was surprised to pay $7 for a small glass of iced tea! It’s still a nice lunch or tea spot in Beverly Hills.
Great food and delicious deserts. Amazing service. Made my birthday lunch a very special occasion!
Loved the authentic charm. Wonderful location just steps from Rodeo Drive. Really easy parking.
It’s a cute little place. The food is excellent and the service is great. It’s also super quiet and around a nice selection of shops. The macarons are good and taste fresh. At some locations they can taste stale. Compared to most of the other Laduree’s I’ve been to the decoration is.....loud? Definitely a west coast aesthetic vs a low-key posh vibe at others.
The service needs to improve. I felt as if I wasn’t really helped much. I felt a bit put to the side, I don’t need to be wearing my expensive clothes to get food service? I had a much better experience is Paris, I would go back but have a lower expectation.
Everything was great except that it took long time to ask for anything
I had a wonderful time with family everything was perfect :)
Good French breakfaat/lunch/tea/snack food. The Croque Monsieur is unique and quite good. Desserts are delicious.
So fun and wonderful atmosphere.
Visited both locations.
Rodeo Drive server seemed bothered by helping us. Moody and snooty.
The second server who took over was much better.
The Grove location was absolutely wonderful. Fun and friendly staff.
Laduree is such a wonderful delight! The mango Mimosa was fresh and my Salmon was delicious. The macaroons were like little pillows and my cafe au lait was perfect. I can't wait to return. I wish it was a larger location. The charm and decor is outrageously French. Love it.
