La Pizza & La Pasta - Eataly NYC Downtown

The service was excellent as well as the atmosphere. The food was a bit overpriced, but delicious nonetheless.

Since the time I made the reservation hostess called me to inform me that the last seating is @ 8:00 and that the kitchen would be closing promptly. When we arrived everything felt rushed! If they didn’t want to take us in it that time I would’ve gone somewhere else. NYC has so many options! It definitely made it an unpleasant experience!

Love this place. A little expensive, but the food quality, service and over looking the 9/11 plaza was well worth it. 5 stars would eat here again.

we were rushed, the food wasn't incredible, and the service was extremely poor.

Loved the bruscetta tasting plate. The quinoa salad was very good too. You can't go wrong with any of their pastas.

I had to get up 3 times to find a server to order. Then I had to get up to find anybody so they can do something about the main courses being freaking cold. When I asked to bring some bread while we waiting for them to remake the food - never happened. The worst experience ever . What is going on !!! ???

Excellent service and fantastic food! I highly recommend this place. It is great for this time that we are living in. The tables are set up for social distancing and you even wipe down the chairs!

I’ve been to this restaurant couple times before and was good. But today I had a regular experience, the service was very bad they took our order and they asked us if we were ordering some more food we said no and they didn’t like that. We ask for 2 salads with a drink pretty normal order anyway we order the additional shrimp and were pretty shocked to receive only 3 shrimps for almost 10 additional dollars. We had to ask a different person for water and the check since the waiter didn’t want to work with our table anymore because we didn’t ordered more food. I will not be coming back to this restaurant pretty unpleasant experience.

Good value for money. Food was good. Wine by the glass was available, but a bit pricy.

Great pizza and wine! Also the views of the city at this location are amazing! Window table recommended. The hostess was very accommodating of our request to move us to a window table even though we were a bit late for our res it was no problem.

The pizza at my corner shop is better than what we had at Eataly downtown. Based on what we had read, we were expecting good pizza. What we got was limp and warm instead of hot and crispy. The space itself was OK and the tables well spaced, which was appreciated given COVID, but also made it feel a bit empty because the space is designed for to be loud and crowded. Our waiter was adequate and friendly, but a bit slow and never asked how things were. I would not eat here again.

Great place for Italian food. Currently not saturated by tourist so it was nice.

We tried out the jazz night, arriving at 6 p.m., shortly before the music started. It wasn’t as comfortable, covid-wise, as our previous visits earlier in the day because of the greater number of people and louder talking to be heard over the jazz music.

Noe was amazing! Loved the service and food :) we wanted a window seat and the host was very accommodating.

Pasta was really good.
The fried artichoke were just from a can and fried. I really wished they were fresh!

Eataly’s only remaining restaurant has been set up well, with widely separated tables, many of which have a nice view of the 9-11 Memorial Park and the Hudson River beyond. It feels safer than indoor dining at most Lower Manhattan restaurants, with the spacing and wide open area and high ceilings.

Great ambiance and service! Really good food and desserts!! 100% recommended.
