La Pergoletta offers one of a kind, delicious Italian cuisine at a bargain price. Fresh ingredients prepared by the most capable hands await you, your friends and your family. Stop by for lunch or dinner. Begin with appetizers like the antipasto misto or have a fresh salad like the panzanella or the burrata salad.
La Pergoletta also features a variety of pastas like the lasagna bolognese or the burro and salvia filled pasta, if you're looking for a richer and heartier dish. Other popular choices include the tagliata classica chiecken and the tagliata creme di funghi filet minion with porcini, portobello and Parisian mushrooms and creme. Finish off the experience with affogato al caff, a scoop of vanilla “drowned” in Lavazza espresso. Go all out with the panna cotta caramello or the cannoli. La Pergoletta would like to personally invite you out for an elevated experience.
Though the space itself is an ugly hole in the wall in a minimally, the food and service were outstanding.
La Pergoletta is a hidden gem that never disappoints! Definitely our favorite Italian restaurant in Los Angeles!
The homemade pasta was amazing. They have a good wine list. The desserts were good.
First time and loved it! Casual atmosphere, service was warm and attentive. Food was good, authentic. Husband wants to go again!
Great host, great waiter, food was piping hot and delicious. Alfredo sauce best we've tasted.
Worse experience I ever had. Eggplant Parmigiana was served raw and uncooked. Service was non existent.
We travel far to eat here. Love the food! Best pasta in LA. Laid back, neighborhood place in a strip mall is a culinary jewel. The meatballs stuffed with cheeses are to die for as is all gravy and the pasta.
Don't judge by the appearance of the strip mall where this restaurant is located. Step inside and you're transported to a cozy, romantic restaurant in Italy. Great stop for couples and families. Pasta is fresh and homemade. We chose this due to its close proximity to Griffith Observatory.
We go often, for the excellent food and, the comfortable atmosphere. We've never had a bad experience. La Pergoletta gets busy and very noisy but, that's because so popular!
Still pretty great fresh pasta, but the service has gone a little downhill. And it's starting to seem a bit pricey for what you get. Hope they improve things with their new branch in Echo Park...
I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and I thought the dish was average at best. I asked for the pasta to be al dente but it arrived downright mushy. The portion was small and the meatballs tasted similar to the packaged meatballs at Trader Joe's.
If you want a traditional Italian meal like this, spend maybe two or three dollars more and got to Dan Tana's.
Although we had a lovely time at La Pergoletta we sadly found the food (& wine) to be just ok - right from the bread! And after hearing good things. Ah well, we tried it.....
Always a favorite.
How do they get the gnocchi so light?
If you are on a low-carb diet, break it for the pasta, any of it.
Although a little far from where we live, we met friends for dinner there and fell in love with La Pergoletta! The food is delicious, pasta made fresh every day, wonderful choices of Italian wine, and the prices are not excessive. We will definitely return!
Great food! Will be back!! We had the risotto di mare and buratta salad, we were in a hurry, food came out fast and was soo good!!!
Great. Awesome service
Service was amazing and best Italian food on the west coast!!!
Overall it was good, not amazing. Both of our food was pretty garlicky.
Fresh pasta. FRESH PASTA. Did I say "FRESH"? Yeah, I did. Amazing how something so simple as fresh pasta eludes so many Italian restaurants in this city. La Pergoletta offers an array of fresh pastas (well, it is ALL freshly made in the kitchen), and you can pair your favorite with your favorite sauce/presentation. We had some night light red (in short glasses!). Great meal. Thanks so much. We will be back, most certainly.
We love the food, consistently delicious! They were very busy so we waited quite awhile for our dinner to arrive. Service was excellent. It’s noisy when they’re full. Food so good we keep coming back for more😊
Classic, superb Italian cuisine. Honest cuisine. If you’re looking for fusion, fancy, hip, upscale - all those buzzwords - look elsewhere. If you want real, really savory, carefully and brilliantly prepared food - you’re home. The first time we dined here, when my wife’s pasta was served, it was literally too hot to eat. When they say, “fresh from the kitchen”, they mean it. The decor is mildly chaotic, but very pleasant and welcoming. The service is uniformly excellent. The wine selection is fairly small, but of good quality, and fairly priced. A winner in every way. Make reservations. Understandably, and deservedly, they get very busy.
Always consistent & good. Great atmosphere where you feel taken away.
Their lunch specials are a great value
Lovely authentic Italian food. Great service and family atmosphere. Awfully noisy, but that’s because it’s busy
Wine prices strike me as a rather expensive, but the main dishes are fairly priced
Total sleeper from the street....but you walk into little Italy. All the pasta is homemade.... lasagna noodles were the softest we've ever had. The ambiance and service was perfect. All tables get a fresh candle with each turnover. I had the spinach pappardelle with an eggplant ragu...delicious. We will definitely be back.
My sister enjoyed her mushroom pappardelle very much. I had the rigatoni which was pretty meh. Not al dente, sauce was just ok, had a weird aftertaste I couldn’t quite put my finger on.
It was my sister’s birthday and although they wished her Happy Birthday when they seated us there was no other recognition. We both ordered the panna cotta and neither was on the house.
Initially service was excellent but at the end of the meal we felt a little ignored as the restaurant began to fill up.
All in all an ok experience. Not wonderful.
We just got back from Rome, so we're a little biased as to great Italian food. My dish (the shrimp with angel hair pasta) was delicious. We sat in the back room, and it was quiet. The front part of the restaurant was noisier than we prefer, but not terrible. Recommended!
I honestly recommend this spot for any occasion and every dish I’ve had has been amazing but my favorite is the Gnocchi with pesto cremoso. Service is always the best thank you !
Can’t drink alcohol in the outside dining area
Zero complaints! Our server was wonderful and we loved every dish we ordered. The shrimp risotto was my favorite! Will definitely be back soon.
Delicious little restaurant with cute ambiance and yummy food. Will definitely go back
Best linguini and clam special!
The food was delicious but our appetizer and soup came very late and only after we mentioned it to our servers. Our friend ordered a dinner salad and it came right out. When we finally were served our soup and appetizer, our meal came out literally at the same time. We felt our server did not pay the proper attention to our table. Our friend’s dish came out without one of the additions he ordered. The server took a couple of the items off our bill, so that part was fair.
We would give the restaurant another try.
Great spot — what every neighborhood Italian place should be like.
Hidden gem. Amazing pasta ! Highly recommended. Friendly staff, good wine. Great location!
We came in late on mother’s day and got seated right away. Our server was amazing. I wish I could remember her name, she was extremely knowledgeable pertaining to the menu and wines. If you are in the mood for great Italian cuisine and are on Sunset I would highly recommend checking this spot out. 10/10 will come back!
Really enjoy the fresh authentic Italian food and restaurants ambiance. Service was wonderful.
This is a gem. Delicious and authentic. We felt transported back to Italy. What more could you ask for?
