Housed in a two-storey Victorian building in the heart of Abbotsford, La Fantaisie artfully
combines florist, Cafe & restaurant and function spaces into a welcoming and tactile proposition.
Embracing a layered approach to materials, the venue reflects the beauty and fragility of the
historic site. Burnished concrete floors, exposed-truss ceilings, raked render and troweled
brick walls create a textural backdrop, drawing focus to the striking articulation of floristry
and café benches. Custom carved from solid blush-toned marble, the bench’s scalloped
profile is a creative hallmark of the space, complemented by linen drapery and tiered flower
displays that define a series of dining settings in timber and cognac leather. Upstairs, a
brass-lined cocktail bar and open function room craft a captivating setting for special events.

    Such a beautifully presented café particularly with the florist at the front and light fittings. Staff were welcoming and accommodating...we asked to move tables and they arranged. Food has slight twists on traditional cafe offerings and was very tasty. About 23-28 per meal but worth it. Good sized coffees too!

    Such a charming place & outstanding food, the cakes are slightly pricey at $15, but made fresh daily with hearts..i am sure. Will try at next visit.

    Not much to chose from in menu. Lacking vegetarian options. Dessert was pretty expensive. Looked beautiful but lacking in flavour. However The avo on toast was delicious! A combination of fruit and avo on toast which I thought would taste strange but it was nice and refreshing. We also got seated next to the front door… was a cold day so was not very pleasant . Chia latte was average. Had worse, had better.

    It was a really good experience with La Fantaisie. Service great! Food was very nice and good quality. I really like the rose tea latte 👍it was also a fantastic place for picturing. Will back again.

    Great ambience. Food was delicious. Waiters very attentive. Only thing i could fault was the wait between entree and main course was a little long, but otherwise a very enjoyable night.

    We had the loveliest experience at La Fantaisie! The service was so lovely and attentive. Delicious 3 course lunch finished with special patisserie desserts which looked and tasted delcious. Quality service, food and experience overall. Recommend for a finer dining experience! I look forward to coming back again ☺️
