La Brasseria Milanese
Breakfast and lunch are influenced by French culinary and stylistic heritage whereas the dinner menu and dining room offer the best of Italian culture and class.
The wine list is as thought through as the food menu and La Brasseria hosts London’s only Italian specialised sommelier helping you pair reasonable and unknown wines with your home cooked food.
Nice little traditional Italian. I was there on own after work on a Monday and it was busy with a nice buzz but friendly attentive service. The food was good rather than outstanding but I would return again.
The basement part of the restaurant is rather without character. The food was satisfactory, but the total bill is high for what is offered.
Very good food, good variety and great quality. Service was fab- friendly staff. Lunch with friends and was perfect vibe!
First visit and it’s one of my nearest Restuarants. Food was a reasonable standard for price. Service slow. Setting has building work in MHS. Would come back for 2nd visit to see if any improvement :)
Great food, great wine, great service!
Spectacular as always
What a phenomenal place - one of my favorites in Marylebone. The ambiente, the service, the food, everything is excellent. I already look very much forward to next time.
There was a 99p charity charged at the end which i asked to be removed from the bill. There was no quibble over it but I still think it was inappropriate. The charge did not adequately explain where the money would go and how it would help change the world‘s climate. I’m sure most people just pay it and there is a kickback to the restaurant for getting the donation in.
What ever the mechanic, it should be removed. It detracts from the excellent food and hospitality. Not everyone likes the debate about climate change and an increasing amount of people are cynical about the charity industry.
When charity is taken for granted, it’s no longer charity.
Lovely staff ,good food and dog friendly too
I’ve been many times over the last years. Discovered it when it was Getti and now love La Brasseria Nilanese. Consistently great food and service. Started with the focaccia and burrata Salad. For main the chicken Parm and seafood pasta. Love it.
Staff initially not v friendly or helpful but once our table sorted made us feel at home!
I had a very good salad and a very good service.
Alberto is charming.
It’s a shame there are building works outside, it was a bit noisy on the terrace.
Excellent overall. We’ll come back.
Nice local restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff
Lovely place, great staff, nice interior, good food, just slightly on the pricy side!
My fiancée and I went to La Brasseria Milanese before going to see Pink at Wembley. What a fantastic find it was. Being half Italian I appreciate “proper” Italian food and La Brasseria didn’t disappoint. The restaurant itself was lovely, service was excellent and the food was just beautiful. Add to that the Italian staff, I could have closed my eyes and thought I was actually in Milan.
I’d highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed, and rest assured, next time I’m in London I’ll be going back.
Everything was very good except one thing - on the online menu it showed they served draft Asahi, which we were really looking forward to with our food but when we arrived the tap was no longer available. Please update your online menu!
Wonderful welcome after a 3 months absence. Real pleasure to return to this restaurant in Marylebone Road. Authentic Italian food and charm. Really quite a special place at any time of the day.
Always good food. Service great from everyone; wonderful welcome, well looked after, professional, efficient, humorous; nice human contact.
Pasta & wine are amazing
The food was great. I had arancini with truffle, black risotto, and pannacotta - all cooked perfectly well. I will definitely recommend this place and come back later for dinner again.
Food was very good and staff was friendly.
Absolutely fabulous as always. The staff are so attentive and do their best to make your meal a memorable one!!
Beautiful food and Service ! Will definitely be returning again. Perfect for date night
fantastic local italian restaurant with good staff and great food and wine
The food was fab but the music was way too loud and they only lowered it a little bit after numerous requests. Said lowering the music too much would ruin the ambiance. Ridiculous. Good restaurants don’t need to have loud music, not a disco. That said, the food is good- so might go again...
You cannot read the restaurant menus as the print on the menus is really faint and really small. Bring your glasses and flashlight!!!
Friendly, efficient staff, excellent food and a realxing ambience make this restaurant a desirable location for a London meal. Wine by the bottle is expensive and means that, for us, it will remain a restaurant for special occasions. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.
Brilliant food and host if there 6 of you ask for a booth
I went there with my daughter !
We had fantastic pasta and wine!
Nothing special !!
Awesome Somelier. Great food. All round epic day. Thanks for having us 😃
The host and team were incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. They sat us at a wonderful table outside on their terrace in the sun! Couldn’t ask for a more perfect lunch setting. The service was top and efficient. And the food was absolutely delicious and authentic! For a moment, I thought I was in Milan! This will now be my regular place... grazie mille!
Service was very very slow. Orders were wrong. Food was delivered erratically.
Food was tasty when it eventually arrived.
From the moment you push the Buster & Punch door handle you know you are entering a stylish space. But is it style over substance? Absolutely not. The best Espresso Negroni followed by a delicious al dente vongole the likes of which I haven't enjoyed outside of Italy. And it's DOG FRIENDLY!!! Which means, alongside Aquavit, it's now one of my favourite London haunts.
Best Italian restaurant in marylebone! Delicious food and good service.
Always a great experience at La Brasseria Milanese. The staff are incredibly friendly, the menu has a great list of delicious meals and despite going half a dozen times already we continue to find new delicious dishes to try. Incredible value for money, especially so for Marylebone. Would recommend getting a booth for a group too. And you must try the wine list, extensive but the sommelier will be able to find you a bottle to match any meal combination.
Caesar dressing was inedible and tasted like salad cream
Coffee was poor
Upon entering the restaurant it looked very welcoming and lively however we were taken downstairs to more of a large party room that looked dull and the music was too loud. Aside from that the food and wine was very well chosen and presented.
Advice would be to ask for a street level table.
