Dine with us amongst the beauty of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, in our renowned exclusively Pescatarian and Plant Based restaurant, nestled beside the beloved Kondalilla National Park.

Our Executive Chef, Alex Schwarz, and the Restaurant Team are committed to creating a sustainable, eco friendly, inclusive space; utilising home grown and locally sourced fruit, vegetables and bush tucker, ethically sourced Australian seafood and local dairy products to create well balanced, flavoursome, seasonal menus rich in nutrition and style.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch on our spacious deck amongst the trees, an intimate dinner under the stars or bring the family for a relaxing Sunday afternoon and enjoy live tunes, whilst the kids play in our enclosed playground.

    This was our second visit to the Kondalilla Restaurant, the first being for lunch on a Sunday with live music from 1pm. This time we visited for dinner and opted for the three course set menu. Each course was a work of art, it almost seemed a shame to spoil it. Empty plates testified to the wonderful flavours of each course. Service was wonderful, with the staff we met being polite and welcoming. Our meal and drinks order was taken with enough time to ponder our choices but without having to wait an age. As the sun set it did become a little chilly on the deck, but blankets were cheerfully offered to keep us warm. Insect repellant was also provided although there were surprisingly few around. It was my birthday, so the final course - a wonderful chocolate lava cake - came with a burning candle in my dessert. A lovely touch. Our charming waitress was very happy to take photos of us as each course arrived. She took excellent photographs using my husband's phone. We will definitely eat here again and will bring our Christmas visitor for a meal in this wonderful restaurant.

    We arrived to a warm welcome and were escorted to an idyllic table with amazing views over the forest below. The hostess was polite , bubbly and knowledgeable about the menu . The food from start to finsh was absolutely delicious, the imaginative use of local fressh and in season ingredients made the experience very unique and enjoyable. I will definitely be back again eager to try something elsefrom the menu . Highly recommended

    It was my first visit there and I went with 8 members of my walking group after doing the Kondalilla Falls circuit. Everyone loved the deck and the beautiful outlook across the trees. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The staff were excellent and very attentive. I will definitely be going back.

    The food and service were excellent. having dined there previously, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. The Wine selection was limited but interesting. the prices have risen from our previous visit, but for a special dinner, this iis , we think one of the best in the Hinterland.

    Wonderful as always. I never understand why this restaurant isn’t packed out every night but I grateful it isn’t! Staff have mostly been the same for the last 3 years which impressive for hospitality. Food beautifully presented and delicious. Portion size just right. And they’re always accommodating, nothing is too much of a hassle. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

    We dined here for our 16th Wedding Anniversary and it was an amazing annivrsary dinner. The customer service by Jess was the best customer service we have ever received anywhere. Jess was welcoming, friendly and just a beautiful person. The food was absolutely amazing.

    Lovely venue to spend a Sunday afternoon. The duo playing added a lovely atmosphere. Took a bit of time to order as I have a garlic allergy and many of the dishes were cooked in garlic.

    Fantastic location, food was beautiful. Staff super friendly. Next time I'll walk down to the rock pools. If I could offer one piece of advice it would be to let customers know if they are visiting restaurant their is parking further down by the restaurant itself. If you didn't know this it would be very hard for a older person to walk back up.

    What a great place this is. My husband I walk the Kondalilla trail frequently but had no idea another treasure was this restaurant. Wonderful wonderful food and wine that is so well priced. The staff are just lovely and we enjoyed the live music too. You made our 40th wedding anniversary lunch wonderful. Thank you.

    What an outstanding restaurant! The atmosphere, the staff, the food - everything was perfect. Loved trying foods we don’t cook at home and being treated like royalty by the wait staff. Very adaptable with food requirements, highly recommended to all (even vegans!).

    Everything was amazing during our lunch… I didn’t realise it was a vegetarian restaurant! Oops… but this didn’t matter in the end as our meals were amaaazing! Great value, impeccable service and beautiful atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
