We had fun on our friend bachelor party, thank you.

The experience would have been five star if the waitress actually listened to what was required, ie asked for no chilli and if there was chilli in the sauces, to please put it on the side; however, when the food arrived there was chilli on some dishes and the chilli sauce was poured over the food. When I reminded her on what I requested, because I have a reaction to chilli, I was given a wishy washy excuse about menus changing and that it was impossible to take out the chilli (why changing the menu makes a difference I have no idea, mind you it was still the old menu). Of course this is not the case as I have eaten at Kokomo's before and couldn't have had better service, and the chilli was omitted or placed on the side. Additionally, when the food was served, I asked if there was any chilli in the dishes (as I had a small suspicion that there was), I was told "no, not at all". After this experience, I suggest that the waitress be trained better before unleashing her on customers.

Paid for dinner and drinks.Notified the waitress that we are just going out for a quick smoke while waiting and that we are coming back. When we came back, table number and drink were gone. Explanation from kitchen staff was they thought we were gone, waitress return all the dinner plates back. We left hungry and frustrated, ate somewhere else but came back for the good music and ambiance on the dance floor.

Great choice of drinks. Food is tasty and different.

It was a special time out for all. But the people in front were rude, not approachable. I booked the standard seating( cos no clarity over online booking provided what standard seating is). it was a totally isolated cabin with bad lights and sounds, don't give any vibe.
Kindly improve your online booking system for more clarity as to what the booking offers

Popped up to Canberra for New Years and have to say we really enjoyed this place.
From the moment we arrive and the guy on the door just making us feel like one in a million.
The food is tasty! and Cocktails = love.
We are going to try and sneak in tomorrow night. Fingers crossed!

The 2 hour seating felt rushed. Each dish came out before we'd finished the precious dish. We weren't advised they'd stopped taking cash until we went to pay the bill. Lemon pepper mayonnaise was just a squeeze of Kewpie (I was sitting opposite the kitchen). Upstairs seating I had booked was apparently closed and the share menu was missing items we weren't told about. The pour on the beers was terrible. Overall it was disappointing. Food was generally ok but the experience overall was poor.

I have been to Kokomo’s a number of times and always enjoyed the experience however this time we were rushed out of the restaurant - asked 5 times if we were done and requested to change seats/tables despite it only being 10pm on wed night with barely anyone around. The service of food was excellent but the constant need to push us out of the restaurant was not pleasant particularly when it was late and barely anyone around wanting seats/tables.

Great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly! Service was fast and they had a fantastic cocktail menu!!

Great ambience, speedy food delivery and a good drinks menu

All of the bar staff were only serving female patrons... male customers were kept waiting at the bar for 20+minutes. Wont book again, such a sexist environment.

I originally went to Kokomo's after it had just opened and didn't love it but was very impressed going to it again this time around. The food was delicious (kingfish ceviche was a definite top player), the cocktails were awesome, and very well-priced.

Share plates & bar food is really tasty. The cocktails were terrible...stick with standard wine or spirits.
Standard seating is more pleasant for a catch up meal with friends.

The bar menu is low value and low quality. Four chicken wings for $14 is just rude. Atmosphere great. Cocktails ordinary (a lot of pre-made syrups). Would not recommend the bar area.

Happy hour at Kokomos is a must. We only had fries but they were delicious.

Kokomo’s is a fun experience! We wanted a night out with buzzing energy, fun cocktails and good food. Kokomo’s delivered on all fronts.
We chose to do the degustation meal; next time we would do the cocktail pairing!
Allergies were catered for and the servers were happy to explain all elements of the dishes.
Each dish had well matched taste-combos that enhanced the flavors and made the dishes go from ‘ok’ to ‘I want to eat this again’!
The only disappointment was the sago dessert that hid a few pieces of fruit at the bottom. The pandang ice cream was refreshing and I wish we would have just had fresh fruit with it instead of the heavy sago. However, experiencing something you don’t necessarily like when you do a tasting is part of the experience; you will find things that will be your new favorite so getting a dish that is semi-good amongst a fantastic set of dishes didn’t put a damper on our mood.
As we wanted to talk we were happy to sit in the restaurant area where the noise level was at a level where you could hold a normal conversation.
A perfect night which had both of us smiling, feeling relaxed and feel as if we made the perfect choice in terms of celebrating our special occasion.
A place to visit again!

Slow service, ignored by staff when trying to order food, no table service and not provided with any menus even though we had reserved a table for 7.

Krakatoa was an interesting concept. The presentation of the food was fine and the quality of the food was very good. The cocktail flight was a great idea. Each cocktail had something to offer.

Had a fun dinner at the Krakatoa event, the food was great as we're the wines, service and the vibe. Not really what I expected.

Our experience at Krakatoa was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff were very accommodating for dietary needs and the food was excellent. The food was beautifully accompanied with matching cocktails. Would definitely recommend as a well priced dining experience.

Krakatoa was DELICIOUS! My dining buddy & I also partook in the paired cocktail menu which complimented to food beautifully.
Don’t be fooled by the early tiny servings - I was worried we’d be doing a Maccas run on the way home early on - by the end I was beyond comfortably filled.
Special shout out to Tamsin, our wait staff member, knowledgeable, friendly and rectified a food issue immediately for us. Thank you for making a good night great!

Always love coming to Kokomo’s, always a crowd pleaser

We had the krakatoa bbq menu at kokomos and the food was divine. Matching cocktails were interesting and really good value but next time I would go with wine (just personal taste). We had a nice quiet and cozy table upstairs and the service was great, although at times felt a little rushed. Overall fantastic and I would definitely recommend.

We had great time at Kokomo’s and Mia was an excellent waitress, definitely couldn’t fault her. Everyone else we spoke with was also super friendly!

Service, food and drinks were amazing. It is not the first time we have been to Kokomo’s. We travelled from Wagga to Canberra for our ladies night and thought we would treat ourselves.

It’s a shame there was no dancing, however we understand why.

Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable re menu. Stuffy upstairs but raining outside. Balcony full of smokers and it wafted across us the entire meal as doors open.
Food was creative, flavourful, excellent presentation.
