Limited menu but the gist was very fresh and the Ramen was great. Very quiet on a weeknight- our guest liked the Hsppy Hpur Sake.
Loved this place! Definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood. We came in for a late dinner and while it looked kind of dead inside, we sat down and were met with SUPER friendly service and really delicious food. Everything we ate was good. I had a really hearty and flavorful donburi while others in the party had sushi or noodle dishes. Everyone was really happy with the food. So while it's not the most happening place in Brooklyn, its definitely a really good value, with friendly servers and super yummy food! Almost went back for another meal the next day!!
It was Mother's Day at 1 p.m. and the place soon as you open the door that was the only light available to see your meal. The place was dark and so WE decided not to patronize that establishment
We reserved at 9:45pm and arrived at 9:50pm. The server told us the restaurant was already closed. We explained we had made reservations through opentable but there was no way. The opentable reservations were open until 10:00pm. I recommend not to accept reservations at 10pm if the restaurant is closed at 9:50pm.
Fumes from the nail salon next door made it impossible for us to eat here. We had to leave and did not get a chance to try the food.
Excellent Service, food, close to hotel.
mostly locals, good vibe, good food, good value for the $
Solid food and service! Happy this opened in the Downtown Brooklyn area. Sake list and Japanese whisky selection plus some beers and wine. My girlfriend had some sashimi and I ordered few things of the small plates sections to share with my friends.
