We haven’t been here for a few years after a particularly bad experience, so we were nervous. The food was great, as was the service and staff. Only thing that stopped me giving it 5 stars was the lack of choice in wine (the couple of wines I asked for that was on the wine list, they didn’t have) and they missed my son’s freak shake, but soon rectified this. Overall, great experience and we will definitely be coming back!
Great venue, food and service. Love coming here with friends and family
We always love the steak at the Kings Creek Hotel!
The staff were very helpful regarding alterations we requested in the menu. The food was lovely! The only downside was that most people departed fairly early, at about 8.30ish, and the kitchen closed before 9pm.
Prompt efficient and friendly service , pleasant atmosphere good well prepared pub food with some interesting specials. Most enjoyable night. We will return.
Great! Our kids love the playground and does a reasonably good steak. Great for group meals as you pay as you order and means splitting the bill is so easy and efficient. We're regulars, will be back.
Communication between staff was the biggest issue. Lady taking orders at counter was distracted and couldn’t care less about us or our order- just paying. Was actually sad to see her lack of care.
Our groups arrived in 2 groups. One was out on table 1&2 and the other on table 32. Opposite corners. Clearly there was a mistake but there was no cooperation from floor staff to
Help move tables together and the place was 95% empty.
Kids meals are over priced for the re heat quick small meals they are. Sorry but a cheap pizza and a hand full of chips is not worth $12. Kids playland was good.
Adults meals ok. Freak burger and milkshake was well overpriced at $32. Tasted good but you couldn’t see the value. The cream and chocolate was all over the base of the burger and couldn’t be eaten. Very sloppy and messy. Other meals were ok.
A big issues was the length of time the meals took to get to the table. Kids meals super quick. Adult meals around 25 mins and the place was 95% empty. I would dread to see how long it takes when it’s full.
Overall 3/10 and the owners should spend more time in the place talking to customers paying nearly $300 for a few meals because it was a disappointing trip for a birthday celebration.
Great value and plenty of entertainment for the kids.
We had a catch up lunch , my sister my brother & myself on Tuesday . As My partner & I attend Kings Creek most Friday nights & I had my birthday there also , I booked a table.
We were looked after by our favourite “Mary “ who is so friendly & helpful as always. We’ll be back ,we love
This Hotel .
Exceptional service, great food. Specials board has interesting options.
Meals are ok
Dessert was terrible- flavourless, and very messy
Hot chocolate was made with a cheap syrup and meringue not chocolate and marshmallows and delivered to our table after we requested it twice - late
Staff were disinterested!
Not really that great
Food was spectacular. Kids loved the games room with all the arcade games. Fun had by all
Great service, friendly happy staff and food was delicious.
Travelled from croydon but disappointed. We were a larger group and got a table easily but food wasn’t great, lacking ambience and atmosphere. Good entertainment for kids and quiet enough for conversation but wouldn’t come again, sorry
Unfortunately all I can say for the Kings Creek Hotel was that our little one was happy with the playground. However the food was very poor. Frankfurt hotdog, roast lamb and veggies were terrible. Iced chocolate was warmer than the hotdog.
Very average, quite expensive for a pub bistro. Food was ok but nothing special.
I had the freak burger $32. About $10 over priced
No real specials on the hidden specials board. And specials board was out of date apparently- as items on it were not available.
Service was average, pre booked with high chairs, but had to ask for the high chairs once seated.
I’d been there a few years ago, it’s definitely gone done hill since then.
I definitely wouldn’t go back
Great for family dining or sports. Not too loud not too quiet. Friendly service.
i recently brought a group of elderly people to this hotel for lunch. The seniors menu was great value and the food was good
The service was appalling. We waited over 2 hours for the meals and it wasn’t even busy. We went up to the counter 5 times and asked how much longer they would be and the response was ‘there next’. When 2 of meals came the picked them up to take them back even though they had been cut and started to be eaten , I said you can’t give it to someone else they have started eating them! And her response was I’ve been told to take them. Another meal was a raw hamburger when I complained to the chef he said it’s suppose to be like that, I don’t think we eat mince raw and demanded my money back. the manager came and in the end and gave us free coffees which they couldn’t even get that order correct, one person had 4 black coffees and to top it off they couldn’t find the birthday cakes. Save your time and your money.
We ate there for the first time recently with our 2 little kids and overall it was a positive experience.. the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. the kids area could do with an update but otherwise it was good. We will be back for sure!
For was very average, female serving older lady very unfriendly. Food very average, fish very thin and overlooked. Tasteless. BUT staff in gaming the exact opposite. Very friendly, smiling and helpful.
The staff were attentive and efficient but the ambience was poor, it was noisy and the food below par.
Had not been to Kings Creek Hotel in over 4 years and was very pleasantly surprised. Venue is lovely and the food was superb, plus great value. Looking forward to coming back!
We had a fabulous night out. Great staff :) easy to deal with. Only a few downers kids arcade games a few weren’t working we had some upset kids. Also the kids meals were very small. Not worth how much we paid for them. 3 nuggets and a small handful of chips. Kids were hungry as soon as we got home. Overall we had such a great night thanks again
Have been looking for somewhere to eat on the Mornington Peninsula where you don't have to be a millionaire. Recently moved to Balnarring.
Meals were cold service was slow and Loud music kept coming on randomly
Excellent children’s playground and entertainment area. Very hospitable staff who assisted in making our lunch an enjoyable experience. Food was okay, just average pub meals.
We have been staying at Pt Leo a few times now and have been going to a different pub. The service was terrible and the food not much better. We decided to try Kings Creek Hotel instead even though it was a bit further to drive. Couldn't believe how good the service was and the food was amazing. They 2 great kids areas, one for the little ones and another with arcade games for the bigger kids. Couple that with the open fireplace it made for a great night. Will definitely be back and will highly recommend it to others.
Well I have taken two groups of seniors in the same week for an outing they all loved it.
It is pretty hard to keep all those people happy well done Kings Creek Hotel
We had parma meal and steak meal.Cooked perfect.Hand cut chips are fab.Ambiance good and friendly staff.Would highly recommend.Take your kids, there is a huge indoor play area.
We had the booking for our daughters birthday dinner and the service was appalling!! We had a party of 13 and 2 meals were half an hour later than the rest of the meals. Entrees were brought out at the same time as mains. We were extremely disappointed!
We paid $12 for a kids meal that was a McCain's singles pizza and chips, the rest of the meals were just as disappointing. Nothing was fresh, it all looked like it was from the frozen foods section at Coles or Woolies. We had the seafood plate, canelloni, chicken coriander taco and chicken parmigana. I would never go back and not recommend anyone to go either.
The food and service was fabulous, we were really impressed with the extensive menu and how delicious the food was. The staff were all very friendly and the place had a beautiful, modern, cosy feel to it. We will definietely return.
Menu is very basic, terrible and expensive. I won't be returning.
Great place for kids with the playground and games room - games room is a bit outdated though and could use a makeover. Alot weren't working properly and quite a few are due for replacement!
Food overall is pretty good for your standard pub food. Burgers were pretty good too!
Good all round value. Food and service was great, cost was good and atmosphere was good. Didn’t realise they closed at 9 in bistro(a little bit early when you have a group of people) but apart from that all good.
Had a great meal family enjoyed it as they have never been before but I think the music was a bit loud you don’t want to be yelling over the music otherwise everything is perfect will always bring friends and family to this hotel
Was fantastic, went for my mum's 50th and she really loved it, food was fabulous along with the service, the cost was surprisingly good. Will definitely be going again
I think the kids menu needs to be updated, should have a basic cheeseburger.
Lovely decor and excellent food. Staff very helpful and service very good.
