We had a booking for 10 people and the service was great. Food was amazing we had an assortment from the menu and everything tasted amazing. There was a good selection of drinks as well. We paid a fair price for the food that we experienced. The service was great, we didn’t have to wait too long for drinks or food after we ordered. Overall experience was great would definitely recommend.

Small servings make it expensive. The seafood chowder in a cob loaf is more like a hamburger roll and could be any chowder really. $22 entrée for 3 prawns......it is nice food but not as special as the prices would indicate.

Food was utterly disappointing. The crab was definitely not fresh at all.

Highly not recommend this place. View is nice and that’s the only redeeming feature.

We wanted a family dinner on Sunday night and were very excited about crab. Much to our disappointment only a few crab items were available. When we booked dinner at a crab restaurant we kind of expected to be blown away by amazing crab. Unfortunately this was not the most pleasant dinner due to this, and to top it off every time the waitress or waiter put down cutlery or water etc they only bought 5 instead of 6.

Excellent food with good choice of marinades. We had group of discerning diners who totally enjoyed the getting down and 'messy' with the crab experience.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would recommend to friends and acquaintances.

I paid over 200 dollars. King crab was extremely over cooked and tasted horrible. The clams we had. Were nice since they weren’t pre cooked. I wouldn’t recommend because king crab is $79 dollars and not worth it

We always have a great time there. It would be nice to be able to pre-book a booth when you do make a reservation instead of having to sit on the more uncomfortable chairs.

The red claw was pretty small and a bit disappointing but the mussels and breads and service was outstanding and to the level we have come to expect as regulars.

Overpriced for the quantities you're getting, inconsistent food (we had two lobster roll orders for the table, one was spicy the other wasn't)

Staff are lovely, but maybe think twice about coming here when there are plenty of other great options along Oxford Street .

Very disappointed with this restaurant. With a name such King Crab I would expect the crab to at least good but the meat was bland. Had the Singapore Chill sauce - where was the chilli.
Service ordinary.
Price $49/500g and that was the cheapest.

If you love crab you will be disappointed by both the value and the quality.

Far better places to go for decent seafood

The food was ok but expensive for what we got and portions small (mainly the vege sides). Service was ok but they seems a little confused at times.
Overall the concept felt a little confused - we figured it would be casual style food with a bit of messy fun (bib and gloves for the crab dish, juicy ribs and burgers) but I felt awkward as the restaurant decor inside and atmosphere felt more upmarket/refined than than cuisine concept. Food was tasty but not great value for money.

i was pretty disappointed, we got there for 8:30pm after a movie.
Sat down and were not told until after we ordered there was no rolls or other parts of the menu. These happened to be the items we were going to the restaurant for, I would have thought an option to have a different roll would be better.
We ordered oysters and the dressing was not on the side, but on the meal and then 2 out of the 6 were so small, that the dressing covered the whole oyster - this cost us $22
The cocktail I had, was not nice. To much cinnamon. They also did not have the beers on the menu.
When asked by the manager why we were so quick, I explained nicely that none of the items we cam here for were available and he laughed and said oh well - no come back next time and we give you a free beer - nothing!
I will be supporting the other Bulimba restaurants.

Dressing up with bibs and gloves was a hoot while eating our crab. The garlic bread that came with it was extremely salty so couldn’t really eat it. The crab was yummy and never had tried before which was nice. The happy hour cocktails was delicious and $1 oysters was a nice treat. Overall there were many laughs so I say it was a positive experience

Lovely night out. I think the menu could do with some more explanation. Leaves a lot to your interpretation. Would be nice to know in advance what market specialities are on. Apparently only 1 per night. Maybe advertise on Facebook or web page.
Our waitress on the night was average. On ordering the Cajun snow crab she advised this was the least popular choice. Didn’t know what bourbon or rum was. ??
Overall though we enjoyed our meals.
