Khao Pla Chatswood
This restaurant has been our favourite since it opened = we love that we can book now - we have joined a queue many times but it is a bonus to arrive to a table just for our group and be greeted by Jun and cheerful and helpful staff - the food never fails to impress
I wish I could have given value 10 stars. Great food, great service.
Need to offer more table space for larger groups, overall great food
Consistently good food! It’s hard to try new things, when everything eaten is begged to be ordered again. Service was warm and genuine
Great food, nice staff, lovely atmosphere. Will go again!!
It was great pad Thai and delicious and the Staff were friendly
Good food. Good value. Minimal drinks menu but ok. We had dinner preshow and it worked well.
Great authentic Thai cuisine. Some of it a bit spicy but fantastic tasting. Would highly recommend.
Very nice, good food and staff. Ambience lovely, restaurant clean
Beautiful food and love the renovations. Pork ribs are to die for
Very yummy food. The pork ribs were excellent with a very rich tamarind sauce. The massaman was also enjoyable. Very glad I booked as the cafe was full at 6:15pm.
Best Thai food in Sydney. The service has improved over the years and is now great.
Food was fantastic and well prepared and presented. Service was good, with a few minor hiccups. Highly recommend.
Delicious food . The only drawback was lack of restrooms in restaurant
Lovely evening out with friends and food was amazing!
Yum, yum, yum! All the dishes ranging from chicken green curry, pork ribs, crying tiger, and tofu dishes were delicious. Well flavoured and contained good spices. Service was amiable and attentive too. We were a group of seven, and the noise level was good enough to hear one another. Will come again.
Food was fantastic but some of the wait staff was not the friendliest.
This was my 2nd time at Khao Pla in the past month and both times it was disappointing. Despite ordering a ‘less’ spicy item from the menu both times, it was extremely spicy and borderline inedible. The service was very poor; our food took 40 mins and staff were not very attentive or apologetic. The only positive was the dessert; the banana and nutell roti was delicious! Overall, I’d recommend Khao Pla if you like spicy food, but if you struggle with spice, I’d avoid it or order boiled rice!
The food is fabulous here, best Thai around. Service was slow and a bit random
It was good
Service was ok, most of the food came out on time for my group except mine which came out really late almost completely after the rest of my group had finished their meals, it was the wrong dish and the waitress didn’t even recall taking my order. I had to get up and talk to them about 6 times to get my meal. Needless to say this place needs to work on large orders. The food was delicious though.
Good spicy Thai food.Ok for me as I like spicy food , but some people might find it too spicy.
A bit noisy , but I like the open windows & the bigger premises. the renovations really work..Would definitely recommend . Booking is essential as it is popular. There was a long que then we went.
Service was very efficient
Best Thai food we’ve eaten in Australia, absolutely delicious. Great choice of dishes to choose from, so reasonably priced. The Pork ribs are to die for, the sauce is unctuous, finger licking good. We always have trouble making our selection from the menu as everything is scrumptious.
Awesome dinner highly recommended
We will go back for a dinner as it was great food
Food was fantastic but background music was way too noisy. No need for blaring loud music when the restaurant is full and busy.
