The table we reserved for 4 people was really small
We opted toNot have the banquet because we didn’t think there was room

Later on the waiter brought a small round table for our over spill

The food was ok I but was expensive for the quality and portion

We had a fantastic night celebrating my husband’s birthday. Loved the open kitchen style and ambience of the restaurant. Octopus salad was a highlight, the octopus was “melt in your mouth” tender! Beautiful flavours in all the dishes we ordered. I asked if my husband could meet the chef when I arrived and that request was granted. The staff are attentive and friendly. Overall a great dining experience!

Lunch: Great value restaurant with lovely vegetarian options and generous sized servings. We has a range of small plates as share dishes and it was a great dining experience. Israeli food with a twist.

We love it here, it’s our second time. The staff are always brilliant and the food is delicious. We ordered loads of share plates which were recommended by the manager. They were all tasty. We’ll be back.

Everything was brilliant except the dessert was a bit disappointing. We ordered wine by the glass and they gave a a taste and it was very good. Service was first class. I would go back.

In relation to the noise level. I meant that it was quiet and we could have a great conversation. Staff were efficient, very customer focused and attentive. I had the Octopus salad and it was amazing. Everyone at the table raves about the food quality and taste. We would come again and refer friends. Fantastic experience. Thanks for everything

Great place with delicious food and excellent staff.
I ordered the za’atar, steak, cauliflower & lamb belly. All dishes were delicious and that was more than enough food for two. The cauliflower was hands down the best of all and had us fighting over the last of it (would time I’d cut it exactly down the middle before starting to avoid any scrabbling)!
Staff were pleasant and attentive.

All except one item on the menu contained n egg which I'm sure they'd remove if you asked, My friend had the lamb cigar (with eggs) that looked delicious while I had the lamb and lentil pizza which was far too much for one person. The watermelon pressed juice was beautiful. Danks St seems to be in the middle of a big overhaul so there are not as many interesting shops and galleries in the past, therefore not much to look at. I'd try somewhere else next time.

Overall ok. Dips amazing but expensive. Lamb shoulder was dry. Trout salad tasted odd and cucumber salad was plain. Lacks freshness and flavour I had heard about. Staff were very good and quick helpful etc. needs some love put back into the food

The food here is an interesting intersection of creativity with its roots stemming from middle eastern flavours, they way they interpret and re-imagine this is amazingly good.

Cannot possibly say enough great things about Kepos & Co... the food is absolutely fantastic, the eggplant parmy is one of the yummiest things I have ever eaten. The staff are so lovely and attentive without being invasive... awesome location... so peaceful and relaxing.

The restaurant is a little tricky to find but nicely situated. We were well received and the staff were perfectly polite and helpful but missing some of the wow factor you might find at Kepos Street Kitchen across the road. Wine list was not particularly long but a good range and variety. Food was served hot and well timed. Overall a very pleasant experience but nothing to write home about.

One of my favourites but only if you sit outside. The owner is said ( by all the stalk we have ever asked) to be opposed to lowering the decibel levels of the music I side. The outside and not I the doorway where we wete last seated, is the only place where you can hear your companion.
Pity! as the food is really very interesting and tasty.

The review would have been higher as I was going there for a particular item on the menu I saw online. When I got there it was not longer available and should have been updated on the menu online. This detracted from my experience but the quality of the food was good. I would not recommend the cocktails however the wine list is decent.

Chef Michael is one of the most hospitable restaurateurs in Sydney. His staff is wonderful and the food is delicious! Highly recommend eating here or Kepos Street Kitchen (different menus), and treat yourself to one of his cookbooks. This is a "must experience" hidden gem of a restaurant!

A great meal. The restaurant gets noisy if you’re seated inside when it’s full (and there aren’t many soft furnishings to soak up the sound). We ordered a “medium” steak which seemed more like medium-rare (a bit of pink is fine, but this was almost completely pink-red through the middle). Overall though, great food and attentive wait staff. A bit annoying at their insistence that 6pm bookings be out by 8pm - if we are truly valued “guests” of their restaurant, they should treat us like valued guests. In future I’ll favour venues which don’t apply such time restrictions.

Great dinner for four with an outdoor table. The menu is small but offers choice and variety with many vegetarian options that are incredibly tasty (tasty enough to not miss meat). Never pass any opportunity to start your meal with the faithful fave, Warm Hummus with freshly baked bread. The hummus is made table-side by the wait staff and bread is wood-oven hot, delicious and moreish but be warned, don’t overdo the hummus & bread so you can’t enjoy the rest of the menu.

All dishes selected were delicious with stand outs Crispy Lamb Belly, Fig & Halloumi with Walnuts, Roasted Baby Carrots, Shaved Brussel Sprouts, Seared Yellow Fin Tuna & finally Lamb Shoulder.

A cheeky dessert of Halva Mousse was amazing and shared but instantly devoured.

Notes... The noise of all tables/diners is challenging and makes conversation difficult but is not a deal breaker (outdoor tables away from the dining room are slightly better). Make a booking for groups larger than 4 and if you prefer an outdoor table.

Overall it was a good experience. The food was generous, interesting presentation and delicious.
I’m adverse to waste and taking more packaging. Would have loved to have known I should bring my own box to takeaway what I could not finish.
Table too small and cramped for comfort, and was sticky and tacky. Not sure if that was food or the varnish. These minor things don’t detract from this place getting better and better.
