Celebrated a co-workers Birthday and the staff was amazing. Kept the glasses full and made sure everything turned out fantastic and as ordered! What even made the meal more special is the surprise birthday treat of churros that they brought out at the end. I didn't even ask for them!! What amazing service. Will definitely be returning!!
Jose's is fine if you are in the area but not necessarily anything worth a special trip. I might have given Jose another star if the hostess had provided an inside table per our reservation. However, her unapologetic "we don't have anything inside. You can sit outside or wait 30 minutes for an inside table" did nothing to set the mood in a positive fashion. Why bother to make a reservation if it is not honored? Our waitress also disappeared for long stretches at a time, and forgot an item or two. The Park Cities Enchiladas and the Queso Fundido were very good. The cerviche tostadas and salad were ok and pricey.
Great for Father’s Day!
Great Brunch! Servers attentive even with a full house!
Excellent service, food was fantastic - the salmon & avocado was excellent, Little loud to carry on conversation.
Flies were swarming all the food out on the patio. Please do something about that
Food was good,,,service excellent and noise bearable.
Jose was great for our dinner Saturday night. We sat on the patio and it was the perfect setting. The food was incredible as always, and our server was exceptional.
The food was amazing, the waiter took great care of us. We will return.
Great place. Will go back
This is an authentic restaurant with delicious Mexican food.
Excellence all the way around!
Impromptu date night. Our server Stephanie was thoughtful, attentive, and made great recommendations. The food was flavorful and delicious. We’ll be back sooner then later.
Drinks a bit overpriced but still good. Service was a little slow. Food was good.
In town for high school summer football. Was told about this place. It was an easy casual place to grab Mexican food
Have a great time, Aracely did an amazing job, she was always so attentive and courteous.
Thanks we had an amazing time.
We loved our dinner and experience at Jose and would highly recommend it to our friends!
Great place. Needs more vegetarian options.
Overrated and bad service unfortunately. Expected a lot more.
Delicious and fresh! Fun atmosphere and nice patio. Great salsa and chips. We'll definitely be going back soon!
Great service and great food !
It was our first time and we liked it. The enchiladas I got were a bit too spicy but I will try something different next time. Our favorite part was the paying the bill process--so fast and easy!
Way too rushed on whole experience. Waitress asked if we were ready when we had just sat down. I had to ask if we could order a drink first.
Way too many check backs. Think too concerned about turning table. Asked if we could have serving spoons to share but never got.
Saw the 90 minute “allotment” on open table but to feel pressured when dropping $100 on Mexican after I had also said in Open Table it was a birthday celebration and there was never any acknowledgment is bad. Back to Mesero for me
Perfect spot for a meet up with college friends that hadn't seen each other in years. Our waiter was patient and kind while we made decisions .
Sophisticated Mexican does not disappoint. This was our second visit to Jose and the quality of food and service is consistently excellent. The cocktail menu is creative and the variety of margaritas are constantly flowing from the bar.
Great patio. Good food. Poor service. To be fair, it was Mother's Day, but a lot of tables had cleared by the time we were ready to order. So I'm not sure what the problem was, but service was slow in inconsistent. The patio was great and the food good though, so I'll definitely give it another try.
Food is always good, but each time we’ve been, service is not as good as other places we usually go in the area. We were excited to take our friend who is a mezcal enthusiast, but every mezcal he asked for, our waitress said they were out; no apologies, no other suggestions - she’d just walk back and let us know they didn’t have and ask “what else?”
Food was good. Service lackluster. Use of iPad annoying. El Bolero on Henderson is better.
Best tortillas I have ever had. Food was perfection. Our server was wonderful
Stellar decor and atmosphere- classy, bright and comforting. Delicious food and thoughtful staff!
The food and atmosphere were great! Highly recommend the elite for an appetizer and the halibut entree. The margaritas were good, not too sweet / not too sour.
We love Jose, Dallas was in need of a restaurant like Jose, it is perfect!
The new menu and food is really good. Our waiter, Gabriel, did an outstanding job!
The food and service was outstanding. I would recommend Jose to anyone.
Great for choices
Service was accommodating and the food was served pretty quickly after ordering. The carnitas tacos were amazing. Love this place!
I've only had week day lunches at Jose - Dallas and it is one of my "go to" spots to meet friends. The food is delicious, beautiful to look and super fresh. How can you go wrong with that combo? The wait staff knows the menu and the food. Parking is tight. I went this week and am going again next week.
The food is great, but beverages are really overpriced. $15 for a margarita or a glass of wine, even by Dallas standards, is excessive. I met someone here for drinks and we each got an appetizer, and the bill was close to $80.
Jose is a great place to have brunch! i will def be back!!!!
