We've eaten there several times and always enjoyed the experience. The food is excellent, servers very prompt and attentive. Nice atmosphere. Great. Food is a little pricey but it's to be expected now days. Will definitely go back.

Manhattan was weak. Salad dressing watery. The cut of prime rib was excellent. The baked potato very average. Service was excellent. Seems like the restaurant is slipping.

The management gives a damn. They know what a restaurant should be. Our waitress was ok. The service was ok the food was ok. I have definitely had worse. I've also had better. I went there in the past, years ago before covid. Before people became allergic to having a job. My memory of my first experience there is what made me return. I think the are doing the best they can with what they have to work with. It's in a small town. Not a ton of job applicants. Young people don't always make the best employees. She did her best though. I was happy tip her 20 percent. I'll say it this way. If I lived in the area and I wanted to go to a nice, fancy restaurant this would be the logical choice if I didn't want to drive all the way to the city. I wish I could say excellent and outstanding. It's clear that that's what the management and ownership are striving for.

Father Cyrl from Holy Hill along with my family and I had a wonderful time at Johnny Manhattans. Nancy came over and said hello to Father Cyrl to make sure he was comfortable. The food was divine and the service was excellent. I had the French onion soup and the wedge salad. Both flavorful. We sat in the circular room with a window seat. I wish I could go again this week! Thank you Nancy for your hospitality!

First time to visit and will not be our last. Great Mahattans served at the bar. Dinner started with calamari followed by salads, the fresh spinach with warm dressing was excellent. Three of the group had prime rib and one had the scallops. All excellent as well. We finished with cheesecake and carrot cake. Noah provided excellent service. If you haven’t been there, you are missing a great place.

Celebrated daughter and husband's 6th wedding anniversary, 6th time we've done this at Johnny Manhattan's. Sea Bass, Scallops and risotto, spaghetti and meatballs, pork tenderloin entrees were all well-prepared and delicious. Waitstaff was attentive and courteous. Will return in 2023 if not before.

Mom was visiting from out of town, not our first visit, place was excellent. Complicated drink order served perfectly, bread was replenished, every meal was cooked perfectly from the pasta, steak, burger and ribs, salads were crisp, the salmon in puff pastry with chilled dill sauce was 10/10. Save room for the chocolate cake and think about getting your own so you don’t have to share. Place was great! Chris our server did a great job very professional.

Love this place and the delicious food! Wish there were not gigantic tv’s facing the beautiful eating area. It takes away from the ambiance and the remodeled room is so beautiful, it just doesn’t need bright, flashing television screens.

My husband and I with another couple dined at the restaurant last Friday. First, we understand that there is a lot of new staff during these difficult times. We went to bar for a before dinner beverage and ended up next to the blender. Couldn't hear a thing. For dinner, very good wine list and pricing. Dinner: waitress and waitress in training were polite. We've been here MANY times with great food. That night, we were really rushed, served the wrong wine bottle (tried to correct that), my filet mignon was gray (not the usual nice char that we've had, & overdone (ordered med rare). We asked about potatoes and the head waitress said that the rosemary potatoes were her favorite when we asked about what they were. She failed to tell us that they were 80% mixed sauteed green and red peppers. They also were hard. Three of us couldn't eat them but didn't want to reorder to hold up other guests. She could have given a better description that it was peppers with a couple of potatoes. We had our salads for about 5 minutes before they started to clear them, but I asked if I could keep mine. All that said, the Calamari was absolutely amazing. We definitely will go back, but will ask more questions and for more time to enjoy a meal that was not a casual plate cost.

Have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Generous sized servings, high quality and perfectly cooked. Ambiance is unexpectedly elegant, and could compete with any "in city" high end steak place.... a rare gem and a great find.

Chris was our server and he was outstanding. Our cheese curds and steak bites for appetizers were great. Ordered purple haze and was not how I remembered and was pretty strong with just liquor taste. The cougar bait was great, very tasty and just strong enough, had 2! The complementary bread is always good, the restaurant is clean and nice to core, great ambience and overall friendly employees. We had pizza and made it to perfection. It was all very delicious and we will be back, very soon. Took a family member who was visiting because we are confident Johnnys will deliver. Not rushed and enjoyed the meal.
