Enjoyable Sunday lunch with the family. Found the time a bit short as (70min) would have preferred 90 as no time for coffee/dessert especially as 1st Irish coffee was gorgeous.

Lovely lunch in Johnnie Foxes outdoor area, which on a cold day was very cosy with heater and a fire. The food was delicious, as always and the service was top notch - thanks to our waitress Teri! Only wish we could of had longer than the Government imposed 1hr15.

We had a wonderful time. The food, staff and atmosphere was exactly what the doctor ordered and it made us feel, even for 1.5hrs that life was kinda normal again. Staff were very careful and all guidelines were adhered to rigidly. well done.

Great night, food was lovely atmosphere brilliant, lovely candles and outdoor heaters, only downfall is you can only stay for 90 minutes very short time when your spending big money on food and drinks should be 2 hours, people waiting on your table so you kind of feel rushed out the door.

Despite the 15 max dinners only legislation, the the atmosphere was warm and lovely. It rained a lot of but we were well sheltered and on heated seating. Very toasty would highly recommend. We'll done and best of luck under the circumstances.

It’s just such a lovely experience in these days of COVID restrictions. It was really cosy outdoors with heated seats👏🏻I take my Dad for a pint and a hearty meal and it is better than a doctor’s visit for him. The staff working there are exceptionally nice and friendly and really look after you. Good excellent. Well done everyone- you make a difference

We really enjoyed our visit to Jonnie Foxes, despite the heavy rain it was a very pleasant visit, we were seated on cosy heated seats and enjoyed some background music while waiting for our food, all Covid 19 regulations were adhered to. The staff were really friendly and the food was delicious, I had the chowder followed by chocolate cake, I would highly recommend a visit

They have an outdoor area for eating but the heaters weren't working very well. At this time of year I would recommend you bring warm clothes and maybe a blanket (maybe they should provide blankets). However, the seating was comfortable and the food an service were excellent. We weren't aware of the 75 (normally 105) minutes restriction so were surprised to receive our bill and felt a bit rushed at the end.

Their outdoor setting was absolutely gorgeous. The food was exquisite. As a coeliac it’s hard to find places that not only cater but create beautiful gluten free food also. The wagon wheels were my favourite. Can’t wait to come back.

It was out first time and heard so many good reviews about food in this pub. But our food was as not delicious as expected, rib eye steak was very dry and tasted like it was taken from a can, fish&chips didn't impress either, it was dry and tasteless. But the service is excellent in there, the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff as well as the time management. So personally me, I would not recommend this place for food, but to feel the atmosphere and stay away from the routine yes for sure.

Under the current restrictions it's not nice as Johnny foxes have brought there time down to 1 hr 15, we barely got our main course finished and were just deciding on our desserts when the bill was dropped on our table and told our time was up, if we wanted dessert we could take it away. Extremely unhappy in the treatment. Regulations state 1hr 45, but premises are lowering the time to squeeze more in for more money rather than better service

After an initial hiccup regarding our reservation we were taken to our outdoor table with patio heater in close enough proximity to dispel autumn chills. Staff were very accomodating in meeting required medically required diet. Food was excellent and enjoyed a couple of glasses of pleasny Chardonnay.
They are coping very well with the restrictions currently imposed in Dublin.

I was at Johnnie Fox’s with my husband on 24/09 for lunch. The weather was damp and grey and because of Covid we were eating outdoors. Dublin has been on lockdown since 21st. We were in a huge tent-like structure with open sides. The benches were heated by an electrical device underneath and were certainly effective. Food there is always good. You cannot go wrong. Everything was excellent.
