Jamie's Italian Perth Ratings and Reviews
Wasnt what we expected we thought it would be this amazing Italian like something we have never tried before it was good but didn't blow our minds it wasn't the biggest feed but enough to stop the stomach from rumbling overall yes I would go again but I wouldn't make a special trip into the city just to go
We celebrated my partners 27th birthday there. The staff was very friendly, quick and professional. We shared three entrees and had one main course each and we enjoyed the food a lot. This was my second time at Jamie Oliver's and it was as good as the first time.
Great place great service great staff. The food looked awesome. Bruschetta $12.50 for only 1 piece of glorified bread is a little bit of a rip off. Prawn Linguine bland needed salt pepper prawns were cheap frozen ones over cooked with little flavour. The pasta arrabbiata had no chilli even after ordering hot. The dishes were a little bit small for the price. Was disappointed and expected better food and would expect Jamie to be disappointed also.
Great place for a quick lunch or before the show type meal. Dishes are simple and tasty Italian style and the "house"only wine selection is very good.
We had one serious criticism, the steak had been beaten to within an inch of its life and was still tough and chewy.
Food was fantastic as usual. We came to celebrate our 40th birthdays in November & were returning to use the Super Lunch vouchers we were given. The service in November was amazing but yesterday we felt like our server wanted to be anywhere but at work. Very disappointing.
Happily sit here and annoy the busy vibe. The ease of booking online meant a quick seating and drinks promptly after that. Service was friendly although not too regular as we saw our server very few times and kept waiting.
Food was delicious with fries and bread for starters.
Mains was pappardelle and spaghetti nero, serving size was plenty and fresh produce.
Would come here again and definitely recommend it to others.
The restaurant was quite noisy food was avetage and over priced $15 for 3 srancini balls and $15 for about 5 pieces of squid and a dipping sauce that looked like they retrieved it off someone elses plate there was all of about a tablespoon of sauce. The mains were ombut nothing to rave about. The best part was the exceptional service from an authentic italian waitress that was u fortunate enough to serve anything but suthentic italian food. Dont think we will be back
It wasn't really that special! The food was tasty, overpriced for what you get though. Our waitress was very friendly. It was noisy which makes it difficult to talk & the tables we sat at were very close together. We received a lunch special voucher but didn't notice the teeny print at the bottom saying only valid Monday - Saturday so we were caught out. Overall, it was an ok experience but we won't be rushing to go there. Speaking to friends, they're not that impressed with Jamies
First time here as ive heard bad reviews and it certainly lived up to the bad reviews and i wont be back. My friend got the fish special and it was so dry she had to keep drinking water. My 'famous linguine prawn pasta' not much flavour, small portion size and definitely not australia prawns!?? I can make 100 times better for half the price. Wont be recommending to anyone!!
The Maitre D who initially greeted was not the friendliest, but the waitress who showed us to our table was lovely and accommodating. The venue was very noisy I found, but our waitress who looked after us was totally faultless. The food that she recommended to me was a truly lovely meal.
All in all I would recommend this restaurant and i will return eventually. I am in no hurry to return but I know I will eventually come back.
It was my first time dinning in at jamies for my date and i and we were very impressed with the vibe and how the restaurant is set out. We did have to wait a bit before we could get our table but it was understandable as there were no tables free when we arrived. Once we sat down we had perfevt service the food came out quite quickly and still hot on the plate and that to my date and i was fantastic. The flavours were amazing and i know we will be back again.
Has a pretty good lunch special menu but our food took ages to arrive and one dish had been missed off the order?!! a very nice waitress apparently told us this but none of understood her, combination of her accent and use of english and the noise. our lunch hour took an hour and 40 mins :(
The food was average, it was to noise, and very expensive the best part of the night was the manger saw we hadn't been served yet so he came over to take are order and made sure my partners drink was personally made as he didn't know if the bar staff knew how to make it.
website booking system excellent
Service excellent - really nice waiter- very attentive - fast efficient service
Entree - beautiful food just the right portion size.
Main - really nice - could have been bigger for me but my wife couldn't finish hers
Ambiance not conducive to a romantic dinner- too loud - too close. Would be good to bring the kids to though.
Overall a good experience I would prefer to go for lunch rather than dinner.
Our dining experience was so much the better because of the quality of the service provided by all the staff.Friendly, knowledgeable and aware that 'timing' is so important. We never felt rushed but had any question dealt with within a minute or two.
Food was well cooked and, be warned, all the chili is real.
