Jamie's Italian Brisbane
Dinner: Daily: 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Food is delicious. Allow for extra time because it took a while for service and for the order to arrive. Otherwise it is a nice place to chill and munch.
I went to Jamie's twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. It is fine and delicious, it is a little pricey but the quality is there. The service is outstanding and the venue is very nice. No loud noise, very pleasant to enjoy a meal
Too expensive for quality and quantity of the food.
On the 16th June my husband surprised me with a weekend away for my birthday to Brisbane, so he could take me to Jamie Olivia’s Italian restaurant. My passion for cooking and Jamie Olivers cooking is over the top.. We arrived at the restaurant and it started well we ordered the olives to start but as we went to eat them the mains arrived.(Which is ok) the entree was small but I was soooo excited about being there . Then my main arrived their famous PRAWN LINGUINE.. I almost died. In front of me was a bowl of pasta with tiny soggy prawns with the poo veins left in. All you could see was a big thick poo line on these mushy tiny prawns. I called the waitress over and asked why are you serving frozen prawns and look at them. She went away and we waited and waited then a waiter came over he looked at my plate and I could see the look on his face like, dam.. He said he would get the manager. We then waited for ages for the manager to come over. I said to him ‘’ Look at my dish and look at the prawns they are frozen, mushy but most of all look at those thick poo veins’.. He then says “ ohh I can see, I will talk to the chief”.. AFTER waiting again for ages he returned and said “ The chief said we have had trouble with that last batch of prawns and trouble with our supplier”.. I said “ but the chief knew this and dished this up still to the customers”. He then said sorry and asked if we would like a desert.. I declined as I was starving and told him we will leave.. I was suprised
he didn’t ask us if we would like to try another main.We stood up and he then handed me the eftpos machine so we could pay for our drinks that we didn’t even finish.. We then left.. We don’t go away often because of the expense and this was an awlful birthday.. So disappointed.
The dinner experience was definitely amazing. The food was full of flavour and and the wait staff were very prompt and knowledgeable to the menu. Bruschetta was tasty, and the pasta sauce I had was really good. The pasta itself was slightly under done, but still had a great taste. The dessert was soo tasty and full of colour, which was delightful. The richness of chocolate slice was amazing. And so was the cheesecake. All round a positive 9/10. A very enjoyable evening.
Fabulous food. The service friendly & fast. Great place to eat. Have been now 3 times & will be crack for sure.
It was my families first visit for my birthday. The staff were friendly and accomodating and the food was delicious and we did not wait for a long period of time. Some of us are vegan and have food allergies and all were taken care of.
Thank you so very much. My night was great !!!!!!!
Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful array of dishes - 4 family members had the Jamie Lunch special and struggled to choose which dish we wanted to eat as we could have chosen them all. Food was beautifully cooked and presented and staff were very attentive. Will return.
This is the second time I have dined for lunch at Jamie's and both occasions have been excellent on all counts. The food is tasty and enjoyable and the Super Lunch option means that dining out can be affordable for everyone. The staff and the service they offer is of the highest standard...quite frankly the best I've experienced. They seem to have mastered the art of being attentive and friendly without being overbearing and nothing is a problem.
Our 4th visit here and as usual we were pleased to have been.
Delicious food. Had the meat plank to share for our entrée. For mains I had the ravioli which was fresh and delicious without being too overfilling.
My partner had the mussel and squid spaghetti, which he said was delicious also.
Also indulged in tiramisu and a choc lava cake for dessert and both were really good.
All lovely flavours and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
Dined with work colleagues after a long day in conference. Service was prompt, meals were delicious & ambience buzzing. Worth the drive from the Sunshine Coast. Would definitely return.
Excellent meal, serve size smallish so we had an entrée after our mains. Wine reasonably priced.
Food came pretty promptly, the waiters are well coordinated and very friendly
The whole experience was great. Service and food was excellent. Will definitely be coming back
This was my first time dining at Jamie's Italian Brisbane and I didn't really know what to expect. However the level of service received and the food far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely go back and try some different food options.
Service was great. I did not like the sausage papadelle much but we were mostly happy with our selections. $30 for 3 courses is very good value.
I wouldn't say it was 'special' but it was nice, comfortable seating, very good staff, not intrusive but attentive and happy smiling faces.
It is a very attractive venue, much bigger than anyone would realise from outside as there is a downstairs as well.
Perhaps when making an online booking it might be an idea to add a note that if stairs are difficult for someone they might want to request an upstairs table.
Had a great dinner here
It was a special night as the food was delicious, the service great and the vibe was good.
Atmosphere was great, food was delicious and good value for money, and the service was fantastic. Definitely recommend!
Food is consistently great, staff are enthusiastic and so helpful.
This was my first time to the Brisbane restaurant. The food was fantastic. Perfect size, tasted great. Average pricing for the centre of town, even cheaper than a fair few in Brisbane CBD. However, the staff, while nice, seemed a bit flustered and we struggled to hear them as it was quite loud.
Would definitely go back as it was good value for money, but I would take a group of 6 or less so that I can hear everyone talking.
I was disappointed in the food. Some was excellent and some was average.
It's a quality restaurant but it is less so when it is busy. I'll only go back on slower night when the food comes out at a higher quality.
My husband and I took our 10 year old grandson.
We all enjoyed it, the staff member we had was lovely.
We will be coming again.
Loved it !!! Great food at affordable prices
It was my birthday and I was treated very well by all of the staff
We've had some "hit and miss" experiences with Jamies. The first couple of visits were exceptional (food and service) and the next few very ordinary. We gave it another shot mainly because it was convenient for our plans.
YEAH!! Back to greatness - we tried the $30 3 course lunch on a Saturday and were not disappointed.
We loved our time at Jamie's. We went for a special occasion and the staff made our guest of honour feel, well, honoured! It really added to our night! Thank you!
There were four of us and of the two entrees and four mains we ordered they were all well below average
Amazing service, delicious food and was one of the best meals out our family had experienced in years!
Food was ok, but not inexpensive, wine very heavily marked up. We waited 3/4 of an hour for our mains, not acceptable. My friend ordered a special dish not expecting the fish to be served on cold lentils.
We were early for our booking but it was no problem. As we ate early evening the restaurant was not so busy. We had a lovely meal & the waitress was attentive. Service was also very good. Have been previously & will definitely be back again.
Good good, small portions. Initial waiter was excellent. But food very very slow to arrive. If I have an hour for lunch and first plate arrives after 30 mins. Disappointing.
I really enjoyed the experience we had at Jamie Oliver's. We were seated in a great booth close to the chefs. The staff were very approachable and friendly. I would highly recommend the speacial $25 lunch. We had the delicious Super salad and a sort of bruschetta/avocado starter. Very healthy and tasty. We also loved the rosemary and garlic chips (although the portion size could have been bigger)!
I'm glad they have brought out an affordable lunch deal .. great for sampling their tasty dishes.
Once we had ordered, the staff were fantastic! They went out of their way to make our children feel so special, taking them downstairs to the kitchen to "make pasta", while my husband and I had a chance to chat. The kids meals in particular are fantastic. Shaker salads are always their favourite and the meals are presented in such an appealing way. Good value for money too. Really great casual chat from all staff that walked past - this leaves such a lasting impression!
I'm sorry to say that I found our experience at Jamie's Italian in Brisbane very disappointing. I've previously been to Jamie's restaurants in London and being a big fan of Jamie's food style, I loved my experience there and was hoping for the same yesterday evening in Brisbane. Unfortunately the food was way over cooked and dry and the service was poor - our plates weren't cleared and we never received the water we requested. The special dining experience that we expected was just not there
We had a great time with the family. Food was very nice. Great flavour
Excellent atmosphere, great service, wonderful ambience.
We frequent Jamie's Italian at least once a month & love it. The food is exceptional & staff are so accommodating. The staff are great with kids. This is our restaurant for all of our families birthday meals.
