Great place, great food, and great drinks!
Our server Abraham was wonderful! Understood my food allergies and was attentive without being too present. The food was flavorful and not too expensive. Chips and salsa were GF if you’re okay with cross-contamination, thankfully. I would go back!
Everything about this restaurant is truly exceptional. From the margarita menu down to the table salsa and chips. Best in class in every regard. The fish was prepared perfectly and was obviously fresh. Presentation on every dish is unique and beautiful. Jalisco Norte is world class.
Great restaurant. The chef is amazing. However some dishes are very expensive. We ordered Chiles en Nogada as September special, single dish was over $45dlls.
I enjoyed a delicious and seasonal Chile enogado but at $42 I found it to be pricey for the dish content. Did not like the Skinny Margarita. Scrumptious queso fundido with mushrooms and very nicely served by our waiter. Triple mark-up on the Casa Madero chardonnay is excessive.
I do like the authentic cuisine and garden room is pretty but too noisy. The ambiance in back rooms by the kitchen needs to be improved.
I lived in Mexico for 23 years so I consider myself a decent judge of the cuisine......
First time eating at Jalisco Norte and enjoyed the ambiance and the food.
Great menu selection for brunch.
Restaurant is beautiful inside and the staff wears great.
We loved our server, the food was excellent. We will be back!
We had a wonderful meal served by an excellent waiter, Jose Luis. We started with the fried brussels sprouts that were a little more al dente than we would have preferred, butfun and interesting. One of us ordered the brand Zeno that was a large portion to file’s of delicious fish that was prepared beautifully. The other had the crabcake that he liked very much. I am forgetting the one side that we shared, but remember enjoying it and we experimented on a lemon dessert that was very different but nice and enough for two.
Outstanding food and customer service was exceptional (Angel is an incredible server).
The sever Fannie took the experience to the next level. I highly recommend and ask to sit with her.
So so so so so loud. But service and food were outstanding!!!
Food was AMAZING! Chef Meza pays an homage to the savors and traditions of Mexican cuisine - the real Mexican flavors. The attention to details such as the hoja santa on the guac or the tomatillo salsa are great examples, but it was the exquisite “Chile en Nogada” that we called the star of our meal.
The drinks are delicious and the food is authentic, made from scratch and full of flavor!
Jorge was absolutely fantastic with his recommendations and knowledge of food preparation and spices. Awesome food and service.
I booked a table for birthday celebration and everything was amazing, the seating, drinks, food and ambience. It was a last minute choice but I am very happy with my selection! Will come back.
The Restaurant Week menu was good, especially the osso buco. Service was spotty. The main hit the table before I was through with the appetizer, and I had to help myself to a dinner fork from another table.
Service is outstanding, food is original, never frozen and delicious. Great drink menu! Noise level was fine for dinner at 7:00 but by 8:00 it was very loud. Sunday brunch was quiet the whole time. I recommend both!
One of my favorite places to eat in Dallas! Love the Pollo Con Mole and their signature cocktails! Always worth visiting for every day dinner!
Staff was very accommodating. Food was also good and a nice change from Tex Mex. Margaritas were fair. Our table tried 3 different ones and they just didn't have much flavor. It does appear they are trying to avoid the taste of the typical sugary margarita which is a good thing but it just seems to me missing something. Anyway, I'd recommend eating here but maybe a different cocktail
I have been daydreaming about the ceviche...
Always a delicious meal
So great. Amazing enchiladas
Amazing food and staff! The cocktails were also amazing! Definitely will be returning
The tres leches pancakes were absolutely AMAZING! they just be on the regular dessert menu. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was good. Our waiter was great but he would disappear for long stints at a time.
Jalisco Norte has become my new favorite restaurant. The actual restaurant itself is beautiful, and the service and food match. This was my first mole experience, and let me just say mole is now my favorite food. We also tried the two margaritas that have earned them a place on Forbe's top margaritas in the country. The ceviche with the passionfruit puree was amazing. I will definitely be back.
Food was good.
The right side of the restaurant was very very noisy.
I will request seating in the left side on my next reservation.
The food was OUTSTANDING! The staff was also OUTSTANDING!! The only negative for me was the loudness. My wife and I went here for our anniversary and the only problem was hearing eachother talk above the noise in the restaurant. Outside of this we had an amazing time. The manager was awesome as well and he provided us a ton of interesting information about the food and how it was prepared. I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back for another visit VERY SOON!
Went for restaurant week, and the food was amazing. The mole was very flavorful and not too overpowering. A great mix of many flavors. The tres leches piña colada cake was TO DIE FOR. Seriously one of the best desserts I’ve had.
The food was different from typical TexMex which I enjoyed. The noise level was too much. I had to ask waiter several times to repeat himself. I live in Plano and am Hispanic and I enjoyed my food.
Great service and food. We went during lunch and it was not busy so we were seated right away. The noise level was satisfactory. We received our food very quick and the overall quality was great! I will be coming back.
Really good place. Lovely atmosphere. Great food. Service was slow but really very nice.
Food, desserts and drinks and customer service always on point!!
We truly enjoyed this place. Jasmine was excellent in helping us with the menu. The food was so fresh and flavorful. Cuddos to the chef!! We met the owner who checked on us to see if all was going well. We visited with the sommelier, who was so helpful with the Mexican wines. We will definitely go back! Too many great things on the menu we didn’t have room for!
The restaurant is cute. Great ambiance. It took the waiter 15+ min to even take a drink order which was ridiculous. I had to flag him down to get some attention but he had no problem checking on the table next to us. The drinks were good, as was the food. But the drinks were overpriced and mainly ice. I probably wouldn’t go back.
Awesome food and service,
Consistently great food and service. We will be back.
SO glad I came! Wonderful food! Chicken enchiladas were delicious and the milanesa taco was divine! (Rice and decried beans were both a bit blah and tasteless). Summer sangria was perfect! A must return!
My husband and I went for dinner because we heard they had really good Mexican food. We were glad we went because the food was great and the service was awesome. Would definitely go back.
The food is FANTASTIC!! Our Server, Jorge, is very professional and friendly. The place is beautiful. We will be back.
