Kenny was the best. The food was amazing. They even put a sparkler on the cake for my dad’s birthday. I will always go to Salvatore’s for any special occasion. Thank you for making it wonderful.

Food was good. Our server (Laurie) was pleasant but was working too many tables so was a little late checking in on us at time. (The young man who served the water was top notch, though). We've been visiting the establishment for 30+ years and will certainly be back.

We booked the rejuvenation package with the Delavan hotel which provided dinner for two at Italian Prime. We had a 7pm reservation and got seated around 7:10pm. Everything went down hill from there. We waited 30min before our drink order was even taken which wasn't taken in full. Instead of taking our full drink order she went to get our champagne and didn't come back for about 20min. So we waited roughly 40min just to get drinks. It tool an hour to take our food order. We ended up placing our appetizer order with our entree order because we were nervous it may take another hour. Needless to say we got our salads but never the lobster bisque we ordered. We had to ask several times about bread which finally arrived after 1.5hr. After roughly 2 hours we were finally served our food still no lobster bisque. When I inquired about the long wait and watching 2 other parties be seated and served before us i was told they have to put in at different windows. This to me was unacceptable service. We were so frustrated we couldn't even eat well that and being full off water. That came at least every 20min. We got our desert to go so never looked at it til we got to our room we both ordered cheesecake one was served correct with the fruit the other just a piece of cake. Lastly when the bill came there was no apology for the delay but an answer to the missing lobster bisque. The waiter forgot to put it in. Overall, this was a horrible experience and I don't think we will visit again. This was our anniversary dinner and it was ruined. Oh yeah I ordered the baked potato as a side to only receive half a potato. Really sad we really enjoyed this restuarant in the past.

Father / Daughter night out! My daughter enjoyed the chicken parm and was happy to take some home for another meal! Waitress was very helpful throughout dinner! Hoped to enjoy the patio seating, but the weather did not cooperate. Ate inside the awesome dining room.

The service and the ambiance is always amazing. The food is meh. The bruschetta app is amazing. The Caesar salad is superb. The steak was great. The chicken is too dry. The Red sauce is meh. I love Salvatore’s and will keep supporting them.

Because of virus and the restaurant needing to abide by rules & appreciated, it was nice but seemed cold. Sadly it’s probably because we’re used to seeing more people & activity 😉

Absolutely wonderful. The food is outstanding and the service is great. Only seasoned wait staff are employed at Salvatore's. The outdoor seating is near a busy street and is not as quiet and subdued is the indoor seating. But, nonetheless, the food is outstanding!

Appetizers & entrees are top notch. Great prime rib & pork chop. Cocktails are good, have had better.
Dessert was not good. We ordered the cassatta cake. The frosting was not real whipped cream & tasted "old". We should have sent it back.

The ambiance was a little less then because of covid, unfortunately. Due to social distancing policies now, the restaurant felt a little bare and cold. The food was good. The service was the best, as always! The service is unparalleled. It used to be the ambiance that brought me back. Now it would be the service.

The wait staff is very good at Salvatore's. We started our meal with Artichoke Française, $13.00. This was not bad, but the portion size was small. I have had other Artichoke Francaise type appetizers at other restaurants that I liked better, the portion size was bigger and a couple dollars cheaper than at Salvatore's. Salvatore's bread is amazing. It is served with butter and tapenade. We then ordered dinner for two, $45 per guest. Dinner for two included a salad and dessert. We both went with the Caesar Salad. The presentation of this salad was top notch. It was served with a nice cheese crisp as well as the restaurant made croutons. However, I was not as impressed with the Caesar dressing itself. I have had tastier Caesar Salads at the Red Osier. Our entree was the Italian Prime Trio. This was a 4 oz filet, tuscan chicken and rigatoni bolognese. The filet was melt in your mouth good and the chicken and rigatoni were also yummy, but portions were small considering what we were paying. I have been to other restaurants in town where paying almost $50 for meal meant there was lunch for the next day. Our meals came with dessert which was very good. The dessert portion size was what is expected. The coffee service is the best in town at Salvatore's because they leave the coffee pot on the table. So, I would go back to Salvatore's, but it is the kind of restaurant that you go to once in awhile because there are other restaurants in town that can provide better value for your dollar and in some items better flavor.

Sitting out on the patio given the present COVID epidemic is a great alternative. Music was a plus, but did make it more challenging to converse. Food and service was outstanding!

We celebrated my birthday here. Beautiful place and ambiance. Waiter Harry was great and super attentive. The bartender even looked up my drink that I wanted that wasn’t on the menu and made it for me !!! I had the salmon and my Fiancé has prime rib. Both dishes we great. We will be back !

We never tire of eating at Salvatore's. We live in Erie, Pa. and travel to Buffalo four to five times a year to dine for special occasions. Anniversary, Valentines Day and birthdays. Wish it was closer. We've been doing this for 25+ years, never had a bad meal and the service is as outstanding as the food. We have experienced this with many friends and relatives over the year who now make the trek as well. Love it!

We went to Salvatore’s to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. We arrived for our 8 pm reservation and were seated with 5 min. After being seated, water and silverware was delivered and we were informed the name of our server. 25 minutes sitting at the table the server arrived and we were asked if we would like to order a drink. Kindly we asked for the wine list. Another 5-7 minutes go by and another worker asked if we had been helped. We stated, “Kind of”. He then took our wine order - we ordered bin#503 - 2017 Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon ($154). After bringing the wine glasses and decanter, he shows up with the wrong wine and stated they were out of that vintage and replaced it with another. After some discussion, we selected a different wine. Finally 45 minutes after being seated we finally had a drink.

The original server eventually returned and she walked us through the menu and specials. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms stuffed with Ming crab; they were fantastic! Additionally, my wife ordered the sea bass special and I ordered the Australian Waygu steak (9 oz) cooked rare and added on a 1/2 lobster tale with Brussels sprouts.

The food arrived in decent time; however, my wife’s sea bass had to be sent back because it was like warm (at best). While my food was also like warm; I didn’t want to send it back for the rare steak that I ordered was a medium rare to medium with no signs of rare to be found. If they put it under the broiler as was suggested; it would have become well done.

For compensation we were informed that dessert would be complimentary. While appreciates, we do not eat desserts and politely declined. All said, I paid $406 for a good bottle of wine, mushrooms, and 1/2 a lobster tale; everything else was a big disappointment.

Follow-up: I received a phone call from the owner and he was very apologetic for our experience. Given our conversation and responsibility accepted by the owner, I will consider returning.

I have been bringing my business clients, church members, family and friends to dine at Salvatores for many years. My experience last left me mot wanting to ever return.

After picking my daughter up from the Airport. We arrived late for our 9pm reservation and was told we could not be seated, but we could place an order to go. We placed the order which included cheesecake. We went back and forth for over ten minutes with your staff trying g to decide if you had any cheesecake left. We then waited approximately 20 more minutes, The Manager told us he tried, but could not get the kitchen staff to prepare our order. He gave a $25 gift card.
This makes no sense. Why did your kitchen staff choose not to prepare our ordet?

Maybe an off night for the chef or the wrong cut of meat. I order a wagyu steak and while it was cooked to perfection it wasn’t seasoned well and didn’t have the tenderness of high quality wagyu. It just seemed like a overpriced prime cut at $70. Drinks where great and service was slow but friendly.

We recently celebrated our anniversary with a night out at Salvatore's on their patio.
As soft music played in the background, we enjoyed our dining experience. The only flaw to our otherwise fine experience was the wild mushroom risotto which we thought was grainy. Our entrees were as expected and the waitstaff was pleasant and attentive.
