Alessandro was born in Sicily, he is passionate about traditional Italian cooking methods and delivers an approachable relaxed menu. Think of large family gatherings surrounded by people where the food is an expression of love as much as a culinary experience. From homemade bread, infused oils, cured meats, pickled vegetables and handmade pasta. Leave room for the Tiramisu.

Went for the valentine's Day dinner, food was decent but overpriced for $75 pp. Service started off good but as the night progressed it just got worse and worse. We ordered 1 soft drink and got charged for a $15 glass of wine, not to mention having to wait on average 30 minutes between courses with little staff assistance even with hardly any customers. Waited 30 minutes after the main course and only asked for a waiter when we saw a waiter approach the table in front immediately after they finished their main course for their desert. In total we were there for nearly 3 hours just waiting for our food to come and saw many guests come and leave before us. Horrible service for the money.

We were all very pleasantly surprised. Didn’t know what to expect. Food was excellent and value for money. We had a Vegan diner and chef conjured an amazing meal. Might go vegan myself next time. Was also surprised how quiet it was.

My friends thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Alessandro's. The service from Tom - knowledgeable, friendly and just great. Alessandro was personable and accommodating with my late vegan friend. Making dishes just for her. Definitely will be back.

Wonderful experience! The food was delicious, could not fault it! Service and atmosphere were friendly and there was a relaxed vibe. The chef came to each table and made diners feel valued and welcome. would highly recommend!

There was 4 of us dining, checked the menu & there was 4 selections on the menu of the 3 course menu, so we thought we could try all options. They were all great, can't remember every item but the entree of smoked tuna was melt in your mouth & the carpaccio was delicious. The primi stand outs were risotto & porcini cappelleti, last the secondi were the lamb shoulder & grilled swordfish. But every dish was wonderful & tasty & don't forget the cannoli is a must. We were greeted by Alessandro & he explained his dishes to us & was so friendly that we even given some of his homemade Limoncello, that if it was a option you'd just drink that! Had a unforgettable tasting experience that we enjoyed & very well priced too!

The small, separate area, which was more fine dining is gone. It’s now all bar service. I was surprised they still accepted a reservation. Food was excellent, very small servings of the specials which were served with no sides.
