We only choose to use Ebony Black Angus across our menu. Ebony Black Angus is produced from carefully selected prime quality Black Angus cattle and grain finished for 100 days. This delivers a perfectly marbled product that is juicy, tender and brimming with flavour. All our meat is aged for a minimum of 28 days to ensure beautiful eating qualities across all our meat that is used across our menu.     We booked a table in the bar area Monday 9th and were seated in Indigo due to the large crowd for the badge draw. Service was just good and had to ask for serviettes. The bar service made a mistake with our order and was rectified. Overall Mingara need to work on staffing in order to provide good service.

    Mothers Day celebration. Ryan was exceptional! The only fault was that we could only get a lunch sitting for 2pm but the minute we sat down, the attendant came and told us the kitchen was closing and we had to order immediately. We couldn’t order dessert either and had to go to the cafe next door. If the kitchen closes at that time, a lunch booking shouldn’t be offered at that time.

    The decor and service looked promising. However, we ordered 4 x poke bowls and 1 x parmigiana. As we have these quite often from many different venues, we were all extemely disappointed and stunned, given the price and the establishment. Very sparse ingredients (2 of us counted 1 x cut shallot in our bowls), tuna not respected and well overcooked and finally no flavour in dressing. The parmigiana was impressive. It's what we've come to expect from a 1 x star pub where the schnitzels are prized and any healthy meals that may have creeped onto the menu are viewed and processed as second rate. This was not what we expected from your establishment! Some of our drinks appear to have also been missed, with one of our party having to visit the bar themselves to follow up.

    The food is good. Modern Australian with some great flavours. It has a bistro / club feel in the front half of the restaurant. The back half has better ambience. Service is ordering from phone which makes it difficult if you want to ask questions about the food / wine and doesn’t have the sand good service feel as you get with table service. Staff seemed fairly busy so wasn’t easy to wave them down. Food was ready pretty quickly.

    Been once a week for dinner for weeks now at indigo restaurant. I had barramundi, the box Choi was grey. My brother had medium steak, no chips, but the steak was well done. The salad was a cut off lettuce chunk with a couple of cherry tomatoes. My husband asked for medium rump, no chips, but the steak was rare. But got chips and the salad was also slab of lettuce with a bit of bacon. We’ve had something wrong most times we’ve been. Previously I’ve had a grub in my salad. The steak is rarely cooked properly, the salads are not great. The service and friendly staff are outstanding. The new toilets and facilities are also wonderful. We’re not complainers, but the food needs to improve please.

    Dined with my husband whilst staying over in Terrigal, we both ordered the special which was steak, chips, and coleslaw. Personally, I found my steak dry and overcooked, so I decided to leave it after only a few bites. The restaurant itself was clean and pleasant with good service.

    Lunch was very nice, Baramundi could have had some potato with it, prawn cutlets needed salad as picture on lunch menu not coleslaw. Long way to get a drink. Friends complained about that and also toilet. They wanted to know why the bar in the restaurant is not open for lunch and the toilets.

    We all enjoyed our meal, we all had something from the signature menu. It is a nice environment, the only thing for us, we were next to a very large table with a lot of kids, so it was a bit noisy. We would much rather have been in the bottom area, it was much quieter down there. We would definitely return.

    Our reservation was for my husbands 50th birthday. The renovations that have been completed have made the restaurant feel more like a pub bistro with no warmth or atmosphere. The food ordered was out before our bread and the steaks were ordered as rare were overcooked and had a iceberg lettuce cut into quarters and just put on the plate with some dressing on it. So unappealing. Was really disappointed as we used to eat there quite often. Won’t be back

    Ordered the woodfire king prawns. Was $33 you got three overcooked prawns with the whole shell still on. Couldn’t use a knife and fork to it eat. Not worth the money. My partner got the salmon which was also over cooked and dry. In the past we have loved our meals. Not sure what has changed in the kitchen. Love everything else about the club.

    Indigos was very nice, my meal was good value but my chips could been hotter, and it’s a shame you have to walk all the way to the central bar and toilets. A couple of my friends complained about that but were impressed with the new toilets.

    Unfortunately I was disappointed with the experience. The meal was ordinary and not hot. We were seated next to the busy kitchen area. We had a bottle of wine but no stand to put it on so had to have it on the floor as the table was small and it took up too much room.

    Been a few times. This is a new menu (a lot of recycled items). Staff and kitchen didn't know the menu and items missing off dishes without notifying us. Just arrived without sides. When we approached the team they had no idea what we were talking about. I mentioned the menu many times and it was all chaotic. Some items weren't great (tagine meat was dry and cold chicken) but others were nice.

    My wife, and daughter and myself dined at his restaurant for the 1st time last night.. What a lovely pleasant surprise, with attentive, helpful and friendly staff. We ordered the special, lobster mornay, bucket of prawns with mango and pear salad which we highly recommend it was best salad we have had in a long time and fish of the day,(Barramundi). The meal was served in reasonable time, the food was lovely and fresh, and of high standard and quality, absolutely delicious. A very affordable meal. Highly recommend and will certainly come again.

    Love the new menu. Food was great, had the gnocchi for the second time in 3 days. Need more staff at the Bar, as it gets busy. Shame you cannot request a table No when making a booking, as I have a preferred table I like to sit at.

    At first we were seated next to the frosted window and it became extremely hot and needed to move. It then started to become hot again until the air conditioning finally kicked in. Wish the courtesy bus was still running.

    As a family we've been there many times and it's a great place for a meal and cath up, there's a big range of meals to choose from and they're regularly varying their menu

    MEAL WAS DELICIOUS. IT WAS A BIG PRIZE MEMBER DRAW NIGHT AND MANY MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE. STAFF WERE WORKING FLAT OUT. IT WAS GOOD TO BE ABLE TO DINE OUT. WE LOVE THE NEW LOOK OF THE VENUE.
