crispy calamari over spring mix and cayenne rice wine vinaigrette
truffled burrata cheese, spinach, tomato sauce and extra virgin olive oil
Food was average,
Pizza was excellent, though.
We had high hopes as we heard decent things about the other location.
We will not be back
Thought the prices were very high for the amount and quality of the food. Wasn’t impressed.
Had good time
Very nice people
Will be back often
I went with a friend for lunch. It was a perfect September afternoon and we ate outside. The service was wonderful with just enough attention to know we were not forgotten but was there if we needed anything. The manager stopped by our table to see if everything was ok. When we were presented with the bill we were not rushed to leave. I would definitely recommend for either lunch or dinner
First time at this location.. was wonderful! Group was still raving about the meal today!!
Terrible service. Sat at table for 30+ minutes and never saw a waiter. The couple next to us complained to the manager that they were waiting an hour and had not received service at their table. We got up and left. Would never go back.
Great outdoor patio ! Busy night and unfortunately not enough staff but those working tried their best to bring out food timely. We all enjoyed our food, but have to say the Caesar salad dressing was watered down and had little flavor. I mention this because it used to be really great but this is the second time I’ve had it at the new location and something is definitely different. Otherwise we had a lovely evening.
They finally delivered what was supposed to be a ribeye steak 20 minutes after the 4 other members of my party received their meals. The “ribeye” had so much gristle that it must have been a different cut of meat they used.
Excellent service and fabulous food!! I've been here a number of times and each time has been great!
Service was off due to lack of staff. Could have turned one of the bus staff into a waiter which would have helped tremendously. Food was very good and the outside seating was very nice.
We sat in the bar areas. It was very loud. The services was. Dry hood. The quality of the good was just ok Would probably return for wood fired. Pizza and. Beers st the bar but definitely not for a formal dinner
We were a party of three. The staff was friendly and efficient and the food delicious. I highly recommend the Italian rice balls. My husband is vegan as they were very accommodating. He ordered the burrata salad special (sans burrata) and veggie pasta. I ordered the salmon, my daughter ordered the seafood risotto with red sauce (I forget the name). We all enjoyed our food and will definitely return.
Excellent food, same for the wine list. Our only complaint is that while the remodel is great, and the place is very clean, the walls really need some artwork; it feels very sterile with empty walls.
Food and service was very good. A little on the pricey side.
This was our first time dining here and we can not wait to go back. The food was so amazing!! The lobster risotto was literally the best thing I’ve ever tasted! I also highly recommend the orange roughy topped with crabmeat:) We will definitely be dining her again.
SYNOPSIS - For a $100+ dinner for two, we expected MUCH MUCH more. Total disappointment. Food was way undercooked and very bland. Rice was crunchy. Server was sloppily dressed and unprofessional with his eyes constantly looking down my wife's dress. Place was at maybe 30% capacity and they were extremely slow. When I complained about my food not being fully cooked the waiter actually laughed and said, "oh thank you very much" as if he had just gotten a major compliment! He clearly was still too busy staring at my wife to be paying attention to the fact that I just told him my food was horrible.
In total, service was basically non-existent. I asked for a cup of coffee while waiting for my dinner. More than 20 minutes later the waiter came over to tell me they had turned OFF the coffee machine but that he would turn it back on for me. Another 15 minutes went by before I got the cup. It was extremely watered down and was obvious that they had taken old cold coffee and mixed boiling water with it to get it hot again. Having worked in many restaurants in the past, I am familiar with the trick.
Dinner was cooked halfway through for the rice (which literally was crunchy still). Yet the shrimp in my meal were so overcooked that it tasted like water with the consistency of soft rubber. After serving the initial drinks the waiter never came back to check for refills or to offer refills. For what this dinner cost I would have expected that when my iced tea was below half full that he replaced it before I had to ask.
Our waiter was sloppy, unprofessional, and unprepared to do his job. The Manager was in the room and while he could (and SHOULD) have come over as soon as we complained, he instead ignored us. He obviously does not care if someone has a bad experience.
Is understanding that we are living under extreme circumstances , we are trying to live this life and survive. Unfortunately this restaurant was completely under staffed, which I don’t understand why it was more than 80% to capacity.
Almost everyone was maskless and the protocols for Covid were pretty much too loose to be comfortable. We sat down, it took a good 20 minutes before someone noticed us or free to waiter our table. Bread was delivered to our table which was over cooked, on the very dark side, I would say almost burnt. When we finally ordered our drinks (which by the way was the only thing that was perfect from our experience ) they came to take our appetizers order, again it took forever to arrive to our table and when they did where inedible . We ordered fry calamari, they were instead of Crispy VERY soggy, the Insalata verde which consisted in arugula, with lemon vinaigrette and some shaved Parmesan, it looked like wild weed, no flavor at all, just plain lemon, so salt or pepper. After that horrible experience we asked for our bill and left to another restaurant which we had a delicious meal.
I feel really bad for the bartender, hostess and few waiters because they were multitasking, and looked extremely overwhelmed (lost)
Overall, I won’t recommend this place, not safe, not Covid protocols, understaffed, no worth the driving and the headache. I also feel bad for the business owner because I know they are trying to survive and make it work. I think if they take less reservations and deliver quality instead of quantity of food, it would say otherwise of the restaurant.
Food and service were top notch. Loved the patio. Will definitely go back. Highlights were anything with shrimp in it and the eggplant parm appetizer they should make it into an entree. My only suggestion would be a better beer list would be nice. More craft beers.
We took my parents out to dinner for a special occasion. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Highly recommend.
We were in a bit of a hurry and they did an excellent job getting our food out quickly. It was delicious and we loved eating outside on the patio.
Both the food and service were excellent. Will be back.
The outside patio was lovely as was the weather. Our waiter "Tom" couldn't have been a better server and more accommodating. He was very in tune to our needs. Then the food came and everyone in our party enjoyed it immensely. Our orders ranged from pizza to a chicken dish with crab on top. Not a bad meal among them. The entire evening was very enjoyable.
First time visiting and will most definitely return. Cocktails and food is wonderful. Wait staff are delightful and friendly
Getting better at every visit. We highly recommend to anyone and will gladly come with friends.
Went there with my family for a nice Wednesday night dinner. We have dined at the original location and gotten takeout from there several times as well and this was our first time checking out the new place. Ambiance is amazing, especially the outdoor area. Appetizers were on point especially the oysters Rockefeller and Chef Adel’s famous Ceasar salad. The sacchetti was delicious as always and the grouper and veal chop specials were amazing. Looking forward to continue to dine at both of Chef Adel’s restaurants! Great meal, great value!
Perfecto every time!
The patio is really nice, but found out after we made reservations it’s first come first serve. We were able to get a table outside and our meal was great. The service was great, even though they were short staffed. Staff was hustling all night. The food is really good with many choices.
They seem to be going thru growing pains. Clearly short-staffed, so service was a bit chaotic. Entrees were good. House salad was sub-par, with greens that were a few days past their prime. Generous pour on the glass of wine. I’ll try them again in a few months after they’ve gotten their act together.
Food was delicious. Will definitely go back. Service was slow in the beginning but attentive once they made it to our table. They are experiencing the same as most restaurants, the lack of ability to hire wait staff.
We were squished into a tiny booth that was uncomfortable. After 1/2 hour the waiter came over and rudely shouted the specials at us. He then left us sitting there. Would not recommend this restaurant. They need to get their act together
Food was excellent. My wife had the chicken parm and I had swordfish that was a special. We both loved our meals. This is another restaurant that is understaffed and there were long gaps in the service. Hopefully this will be corrected in the near future.
New Italian restaurant where the Village Tavern used to be. Pleasantly surprised by very good food and service here. This was our first time dining here and it turned out to be a very enjoyable meal. It was kind of quiet on Sunday when we went. We sat in a booth that was arguably on the small side for 3 people. We also noted that some of the tables are on the small side for a 4 top as well.
The service was excellent and very attentive. There were multiple service staff providing services, order taking, bread guy, water guy, pick up, and delivery. All very professional and worked great.
We had calamari w/jalapeno peppers and the arancini which were delicious. Calamari was cooked to perfection and nice and tender. Pasta is cooked perfectly and is freshly made. I had the chicken saltimbocca which was really good, although I think they may have used chicken tenders instead of breast meat. The dish worked though, chicken was cooked to perfection and very tender with a great tasting sauce. Portions are generous and the food is fresh. Their cocktails are also very good. They have a separate wine list which is nice. In the mood for Italian, you should try this place. We will be back.
It was just okay. I wanted to love it, but I didn’t.
Second time there , everything was wonderful from the food to the service, very friendly, only one thing our reservations were for 7 was seated right away but we got our food very fast , if only you could slow down the food we were still finishing our salad and the dinner was out , everything was fine in 45 minutes
We had a wonderful Anniversary dinner here. The outdoor patio is large and the tables are not too close together. The service was attentive, and the food was excellent! We had the “special” artichoke appetizer, and the orange ruffy entree, followed by the pistachio cake. All were delicious!
First time and will definitely be back. We had the Caesar and caprese salads. I had the chicken medallions with crab and my friend had the wood fired scallops and shrimp. For dessert we had tiramisu and chocolate mousse. Everything was presented beautifully and delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly!
The food and service were awesome and we had a great time. Look forward to returning soon. Very pleasant staff, for sure.
Always love it at the Imperatore. Fabulous food! Great drinks.
We had a wonderful time at Imperatore! The food was amazing! The staff were all kind and tried their best but we had a table set with some dirty service items- which was rectified quickly- and for some reason, we weren’t offered bread and my husbands food came out 15 minutes after the rest of us were served! But- I cant wait to go back because the food was top notch and I know the restaurant is new!
