Il Mulino New York - Hamptons
Very expensive and not worth it.
Been there a few time in the past and have always enjoyed,
But the food wasn’t that good... salad over dressed,
Lagastinos no flavor..even the chicken parm was dry...
This place has decent food, somewhat overpriced. Acoustics are not good, very loud with loud techno music. Hard to understand the servers when English is not their first language and the noise is so loud. Skip the spaghetti, its pretty tasteless. Chicken parm was decent as was the ravioli with cream sauce.
First time could not wait to return
Second time no need to return
What a great time. Authentic Italian and served with great skill will definitely return.
Second time there.
Food is mediocre. Service also.
Shockingly empty when we finished at 7:00 pm on a Friday. Food was fantastic but not entirely worth price. Better in nyc.
Great as usual. Best restaurant in the Hamptons!! Thank you
Superior Italian food with impeccable service. Closest experience in the Hamptons to service and food at a top restaurant in NYC
only draw back is some of the rooms - especially the porch with its hardwood floors, can be noisy.
One of the best in the Hampton’s. They provide a really great experience. The food is superior as is the service. This location has a long Hampton’s history, dating to Sapore di Mare. Unfortunately, very expensive.
Great experience as always
We never write reviews but unfortunately this experience was disappointing enough to bother to comment and not just let it go.
The food was mediocre at best and certainly not acceptable considering the prices charged. The ambiance, food, wine and service left a lot to be desired. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Wow the best experience in the Hamptons

Delicious food. Attentive service. Great ambiance. Best place I ate at in the Hamptons.
Arrived on time for our reservation but restaurant was 40 min late giving us our table. Our food took an additional 45 minutes. Every table around us complaining that they had also waited for over an hour. Angry patrons at every table screaming to the manager.
Restaurant is very very noisy and the food quality not the same as NYC.
The food was very Good but the service was sub par. Very slow. Tried to give a second bottle of wine that was different than the first thinking we wouldn’t notice. The bill had items we hadn’t ordered or received. Disappointing experience.
The service was great and the food was excellent. The only complaint is another table next to us was very loud and rude.
Interior design of the space was disappointing given the attractiveness of the previous Tuscan-look restaurant. Not special enough to merit the prices.
Lacked energy quiet nice but quiet on a Tuesday I’m sure it’s better on the weekend
Il mulino had one of the best meals we had this summer in the Hamptons
Your bartender served warm martinis. 😖
Otherwise, a truly enjoyable meal!
Always outstanding !!!
Food was terrible, we even had to send back the chicken parmigiana because it was so badly over/cooked ..... and the replacement was hardly any better. VERY VERY disappointing and WAY over-priced!!! Stay away!!!
It was simply wonderful!!
Wonderful ambience and service. Food was fresh and delicious! Great value and highly recommended
Food was bland. Extremely overpriced. $30 for two slices of barely fresh mozzarella and tomatoes? At least add some balsamic. Pasta was very tasteless. Meal was $200.... what a joke.
The Manhattan locations are wonderful. The Hamptons location has work to do. The food was bland and subpar and the service was average. The prices are too high for that.
We love Il Mulino on E 60th St. While the Hamptons location is lovely it is not the same experience. The menu seemed limited and pricey, more so than the city, the wines by the glass were uninspired. The food was still delicious but if you like the energy and ambiance of the NYC locations this The staff was attentive and the hostess was lovely. Very accommodating which elevated the experience however next time we’ll go to Tutto Il Giorno, or Sant Ambroeus.
So delicious! Every bite! Service was outstanding
excellent northern italian on par with the flagship in NY - and an exciting tuscan villa environment that adds to the experience. Calamari appetizer perfectly spiced and surprisingly not fried. Truffle ravioli and liinguini da mare seasoned with style and impact.
Friendly staff but slow and less than attentive at times. Expect to spend a while for dinner - which fortunately is a good thing at this fine restaurant.
This must be one of the nicest places to eat in Hamptons. The service is fantastic and the food good. I would highly recommend it!
We have asked spaghetti al pomodoro and I said al “dente”, they come hard like they have not been put in the water to cook them... the sauce was ok. I think that the chef have never been in italy in all his life.
Just an ordinary restaurant, having ordinary food with ordinary ambiance with extraordinary prices. Definitely unworthy of star rating.
Lousy food and steep price.
Wonderful food and service in beautiful setting. Highly recommend.
Server did not know answers to our questions so he said it couldn’t be done. We wanted to pay cash and credit cards, he said it couldn’t be done. Both times we asked for a manager and we were able to do both requests. Caesar salad was tiny. It is basically just lettuce, so why so small? Not worth the price.
Place was a zoo last Saturday
8 pm reservations never got a table
Love there food and restaurant but NEVER ON A SATURDAY NIGHT
The noise level was horrific, making conversation impossible.
Wont bother to book again.
