With an ever evolving menu focused on modern Italian cuisine and celebrating seasonal produce, the intimate and elegant Dining Room is the beating heart of Icebergs Dining Room and Bar.
Arranged to take in the famous view of Bondi by day or night, it makes an unforgettable backdrop to a menu inspired by Maurice Terzini’s Italian heritage.
The menu is designed to give you a seasonally changing opportunity to sample dishes that reflect the depth of Italian cuisine, created with Australia's best produce.

For reservations of up to 9 people, our Dining Room offers a Fixed Price Choice Set Menu at $130pp for 2 courses and $155pp for 3 courses.

The welcome was pleasant; we got the table by the window I had asked for and our server even pointed out a whale, spouting in the blue distance. We ordered our two courses and settled down in anticipation. The first courses came, octopus for me; squid for friend. Friend loved the squid, the octopus was ok but on a round of bread that resisted all efforts from my knife to be partitioned. I just left it, thinking I might as well wait for the main course (reef fish for me; grilled tuna for her). We waited. And waited. And waited. Many servers, the maitre d' and other workers passed us by; two grey haired women at an empty window table who seemed to have become invisible as the minutes passed. The other trouble with grey haired women is that we are polite. After an hour, I stopped a server and hesitantly asked what had happened to our main course. Apparently, our order had been 'misplaced'. The chef apologised. The server poured complimentary glasses of champagne. We waited some more and our mains turned up. My reef fish was delicious; Heather's tuna tartare was not what she had asked for. By this stage we had lost our appetites. I insisted on telling the server about the mistake. More delays while the right meal was brought for her. We elected to take it home as we had now spent 3 hours waiting for a two course meal. Fortunately they didn't give us a bill. But a restaurant of this reputation and price should do better.

Yes the views are outstanding. The real assets to Icebergs are the staff. Amazing, attentive, friendly, know the menu inside out, fantastic attitude. Can’t fault any of them. The food is fabulous as well 5/5, so fresh and quite generous portions. Great menu to choose from. Yes expensive, but for us so worth it. If in Bondi a must place to visit.

Fabulous view, service & ambience But for me, having to choose between either a 2 or 3 course set menu was not ideal. We ordered a dozen oysters, not on menu or priced. They were south coast, but have had much better value, bigger and tastier from Narooma & Jim Wild's. Unfortunately, some of our choices were underwhelming. The scallop risotto had the barest shavings, of possibly 1 scallop & the yabbie spaghetti, had maybe 1 small prawn size, amount of yabbie meat. $155 for 2 courses, that was disappointing. On a better note. The bbq occy entree was very tasty and plated well and also the rasberry/orange pastry dessert was a winner.

We had the best time at Icebergs on Friday! The service was outstanding, super friendly and down to earth yet professional which was the perfect balance from everyone who served us. The food was amazing, everyone was raving about their dishes and what can I say about that view! One in a million!

Nice views of the ocean, but not much else to recommend it. The food was just ok for what it cost, but the waiting time for our food was ridiculous. Sorry, but if you are charging a 10% premium for weekends, I don’t want to hear about your staffing issues. We paid for two courses and were charged extra for one of the desserts without even a warning. Not going back.
