Great dinner and great tapas as always!!!
Excellent menu, wine list is broad if not deep but excellent value not often seen in London. Perfectly attentive service, convivial atmosphere and depending on where you sit you can have a quiet conversation too. Generally, I’ve loved the food—most items completely new to me and well worth the “risk” of trying something different. Last night, however, I tried the duck main plate and it was nearly inedible dry. So, while not perfect, I do highly recommend it.
Fabulous food - always inventive and good selection of flavours and textures which complement each other extremely well. We particularly enjoyed the cod omelette which was light, fluffy and tasty. We had the 3 course tapas menu, which is extremely good value (and very filling).
I also love the decor - a lovely mix of old and new.
The service was very friendly and helpful, but it is was as leisurely as usual. This is a very nice way to enjoy such wonderful food if one has plenty of time, but trying to fit in a lunch while at work makes it a little bit pressured. It took half an hour to take our order, and another half an hour before the food began arriving, and the restaurant was far from full. Our waitress was lovely though, and did apologise for the delay at the end.
Really good food, the olives alone are worth coming for
Service slow and inattentive - we asked for tap water and they brought us mineral which wasn't a great first impression. After that, 4 of the 5 dishes we ordered were not hot enough - complained about this and eventually they took them away and brought replacements. The dishes themselves were decent, which makes me suspect that the issue isn't with the kitchen but with waiters standing around chatting instead of doing their job. At this pricepoint, there are much better choices for tapas restaurants in London; I won't be back.
Very friendly staff and good Spanish food with a bit of a twist.
Slow service, average food, very expensive, VAT added to bill- very unusual in my experience, and a 12.5% service charge. Half an hour to get served. The last small plate arrived long after we’d finished eating. Toilets in very unclean condition also.
Overall very disappointing. The Manchester Iberica is far superior.
Generous service in a lovely setting with tasty food
Very good food and very nice Tapas
Staff really helpful and approachable. Good variety of Spanish tapas and it's the real Spanish spirit in it.
Very pleasant evening:food very good, service excellent.
Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere, as ever. Can't fault them.
Excellent service. Food great. Highly recommend it.
Lovely food with some great additions to the menu, cocktails were fun and plenty of time to enjoy meal.
Reasonably priced tasty meals, good selection of wines. Lots of space, calm and quiet atmosphere.
Superb restaurant - highly recommend. Food, service, ambience.
Enjoyed a really lovely lunch here on recent trip to London. Atmosphere was really friendly and buzzy but not overly noisy. Service was excellent and the food was a real highlight. Great choice of tapas and all were amazing- especially the special that day which was lemon leaves in the middle of a doughnut like pudding. Wow! We'll definitely go back as it's a great option for a not to over-facing lunch on a day trip.
Went there for Valentine’s Day with family, albeit not expecting anything special in terms of menu. Food quality has gone down dramatically since our last visit of more than a year ago. Food is more pedestrian, or special or unique or authentic. Big turnover in staff with far fewer Spanish speakers which takes away from knowledge of food and ambience.
Wine list is still good and good value.
Don’t expect to revisit however unless there is substantial improvement.
The food was great. The waiters were kind and helpful. However, we did have to order twice the same dish because between the waiters and the kitchen someone forgot our order
The food and cocktails were, as ever with Iberica, perfect. Love the small plate options that are so perfect for sharing. The place is stunning, amazing decoration and enough space between tables that you don’t feel you’re dining with your neighbours. We were just disappointed by the service, our waiter was forgetful and we felt we bothered him when we asked for more food or drinks.
I hadn't been at Iberica for a while now and really looked forward to it. The experience wasn't as good as I remembered from past times though.
My fiance' arrived at the place to get our table and was left 15 mins in front of the door waiting before someone even remembered he was still awaiting to be seated.
Our table wasn't ready as expected and staff definitely did not let us feel looked after.
Ordering a glass of wine became a struggle, alongside realising the already tiny octopus portion we were used to had become even more tiny with the new menu. 3 tiny pieces of fish and pork fat alongside for £13? The rest of the menu has also got a lot worse, spent £70 to barely eat anything.
Won't be going back anytime soon I am afraid.
After wanting to come here for a some time, this was my first visit and I came with an old friend. We had an excellent lunch and were extremely happy that we came. This is an upper middle market restaurant in an area of central London is surprisingly bereft of decent restaurants. Iberica certainly deserves all the plaudits that he gets. The design, presentation and vision of the place is breathtaking. The exclusively Spanish staff attend to you with charm and professionalism. Wine and food prices are very fair in return for the quality on offer. Tapas dishes are £6-£8, mains £15 to £25. The mainly Spanish wine list is innovative and well priced by glass, carafe or bottle. We shared some sliced, cured meat, bruschetta type dishes and five or six tapas dishes. All were excellent, the squid particularly so. Lunch for two came to £112 including a bottle of wine and coffee and service which seemed a good price for the quality and quantity of food that we had had. I’m so glad I live in London being able to enjoy an establishment like this - some of the tapas restaurants are dives - this is a fine dining location where you could happily take a date, your wife on Valentines, have a business lunch or take your mother for dinner! Highly recommended
Lovely restaurant and atmosphere, food was really good with a great service
Had a wonderful relaxed meal with couple of others.
Service was good and attentive.
Good authentic Spanish food, lots of choice and wide range of dishes. Waiters knowledge was very good and enjoyed his suggestions. Had to ask for a couple of bits twice but no biggie.
Delicious and fresh! Divers and very nice decoration.
Service too slow!
Everything was tasty and in good quantity except the most expensive dish, the CRISPY CABRARROCA at GBP 28 which came with half of the fillets missing and there was very little food to eat on it, it also was just average so avoid this one.
The service was beyond our expectations. We will come back
The old menu was better. I also think the seats in back are pretty sub-standard
The food was ok, can't go wrong with croquettes and the corn souffle was different. The service was slow but at the same time we felt rushed towards the end. One dish came out very late but the waiter kept asking if we had done and if our bottle of wine was empty when we still had half left. When it came to paying the bill however, it seemed noone wanted to take our payment.
Very nice lunch with friends!
I was quite let down by the service. We had a reservation for 10:30 pm. It is unusual to get a table so late on a weekday in London, but our train from Manchester arrived to Euston late, so I called to let them know we were going to be late and they then tried to cancel our reservation. I know every restaurant has their policies but I don´t see how they couldn´t spare a few minutes of tardiness since I have done the reservation that morning. Secondly, we had desert and wanted to order one more pint to go with it and they refused, they offered water instead. I know it was a Wednesday, and I know it was late, but the place closes at 12, and this wasn´t even 11:30. Lastly, I ordered for everyone because they told me the kitchen would close, and they served the plates even though I was the only one there... I was one person with 4 plates on my table and no guests. My friends arrived shortly after and I must say, we weren´t the last people when we left.
I felt rushed, and not welcomed.
Poor welcome from surly receptionist. We had to hang our own costs up and whilst place was not busy stand in the entrance whilst glasses laid on the table. Waitress was great and knowable however which saved the day. Food very tasty. You just need to sort the initial greeting out!!
Very nice venue all round, good service and reasonable food. The food wasn't outstanding though, and didn't change the fact that I have never yet had a good paella outside Spain. We had both paellas and the chicken was the tastier one. The seafood paella actually had very little seafood, and both paellas just didn't seem to have much in them except rice.
Fabulous, relaxed, Sunday afternoon tapas. I have been coming here for years and think that the food is currently as good as it was to begin with. Imaginative, freshly cooked dishes with decent sized portions. I would thoroughly recommend.
