Relax with friends or colleagues over tapas for lunch or after work drinks, have night out with friends or a romantic meal for two. We promise to put the authentic Spanish touch, whatever the occasion!
Had to ask to be seated at table after drink at bar. Drinks ordered did not arrived but were charged. Water and wine ordered I had to remind staff for. Ordered the pork medium to well it was raw. The waiter that finally gave us some service did all he could to improve it, I commend him, but too many things were just wrong.
The food ordered was very good but we were disappointed at the menu selection. Several of our favourite dishes that would have been ordered weren't available. The menu was severly restricted compared to previous visits which was perhaps due to dining in the lead up to Christmas.
Unfortunately I found my visit underwhelming. The food was okay but the service was not great. The waiting staff actually made us feel quite awkward the whole time we were there
Unfortunately we were very dissappinted. We had to ask for knives forks and napkins and again when we had dessert. The food was tiny portions and half of it was cold. We spoke to the manager who took 20% off the bill as an apology. We would unfortunately not come back.
Tapas dishes were fine again. However, paella was disappointing. Its temperature was barely tepid and its seafood ingredients were very skimpy. Also, contrary to description of ‘dry-style paellas, which form a crunchy base during cooking, called ‘socarrat’, our rice was anything but. Mentioned all that to our waiter.
Went for my daughter’s 18th birthday dinner. Wonderful food great ambience. Both the gambas & the hake were divine. Highly recommended
Poor service made this visit to Iberica less enjoyable than previously. Arriving early for an aperitif only to learn there was no Manzanilla sherry was a bad start, which was compounded by the non arrival of ordered almonds. The restaurant was very busy and this seemed to result in poor service generally. Later coffee arrived late and only after a reminder. The food was great as usual, but the overall experience was disappointing.
Cant rate it high enough...if there were extra stars available, i'd give it more!
Staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, made for a relaxed and fun evening. At times noise form large groups was intrusive.
Food was amazing.
Beautiful setting and fab service however the dishes were hit and miss... some being really great and some being poor; there was no consistency and for the price we would expect all dishes to be superb. We enjoy going to tapas restaurants a lot so it was hard not to compare dishes. The lamb was absolutely beautiful but the gambas were really horrible. Saying this, we would still recommend to friends and family and hopefully return but thank you for a lovely evening
Restaurant looked lovely. Liked the look of the menu but we were really disappointed. We had to wait a while for the food and some dishes were forgotten, when they did arrive after reminding them they were tasteless and not enjoyable. The service was slow and they tried to charge us twice. Will not be returning.
I don’t give 5 stars as menu has changed the last few months, excluding my favorite dishes. We have to wait for a long time, even though we booked a table but we were giving a compensation drink.
Great food and wine as always at Iberica. Service was a little slow on this busy Saturday night and some of our requests forgotten. But didn’t spoil the enjoyment.
Service and venue amazing. Tapas dishes came out in stages with too big a gap in between. It would have been nice to have them all at once. Some dishes very good, some average one poor. I’d go again and maybe try something else from the menu. Really lovely place to have a drink before or after too.
The building was super staff were excellent
Food was ok but portions very small for the price
If they want to charge this much then portions should be a bit bigger
The food was ok I have had better tapas for better value
Really good atmosphere and setting, the staff were attentive without being annoying and some of the gin and ports we sampled were fantastic. Overall a really good experience and a great afternoon. 👍
Very good food and lovely service. Table was available straight away and the dishes were all explained to us upon request.
Amazing food, fantastic service & wonderful atmosphere as always, will definitely be back.
Lovely place for a celebration! Went in as my birthday meal for my 33 and enjoyed the experience. The waiters were attending and knew the menu very well. The place is gorgeous and have really fancy toilets - this is important for girls haha definitely would recommend and come back again
Beautiful surroundings, great attentive service & lovely selection of dishes! Would definitely recommend it!
Another fabulous meal at Iberica, lovely interior, great atmosphere and wonderful food. The staff were so attentive in particular with regard to the drinks as we were unsure which wine to choose so we were brought 3 choices to sample! We always order too much when it comes to tapas, 2-3 each was recommended but we ended up with 4 each and couldn’t finish them!
Good food as usual, service uneven, however, prices are too high for the small portions and service charge is unjustified
Excellent Sherry tasting event initially followed by equally great tapas in the main restaurant. Apart from the awful weather you could be in Spain!!
Amazing food accompanied with great service and the perfect atmosphere to talk with my wife but not be overheard a gem of a restaurant!
First time we have taken the lunch menu, which proved excellent, and introduced us to 'lazy omlettes' which were delicious. We also found a wine to my wife's taste, very satisfactory.
Usually love Iberica- it is expensive but a treat. Felt the new menu was limited and special tapas excessively priced. One pork dish was £13 and very small. Most disappointing was that the food was tepid and our waiter- think she was a manager, was a bit off hand. I came out feeling I could have eaten more and at £50 per head, a bit miffed!
Whilst the food was good none of it was served hot which for me is a basic requirement.
Didn’t feel the restaurant had a cosy feel about it.
Preferred the Manchester one.
The staff were incredibly friendly. The food was amazing, the location was perfect.
Great meal - the new menu has some very interesting and tasty dishes but this occasion was let down by thete being no draft beer available
Enjoyed Iberica Leeds once again. Service and food excellent. Never rushed and always time to talk with staff about the food and wine !
Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience at this restaurant. We ordered several tapas expecting the cold starters first but a couple of hot tapas were served first. When we queried this we were told cold tapas was served from downstairs and THEY were very busy, okay but had an explanation and quick apology been given we would have been willing to wait. Our hot tapas were removed and obviously kept lukewarm and served again. As soon as a plate was finished it was whisked away making us feel as if we were in a Tapas chain restaurant and being rushed so they could have the table back not that the restaurant was that busy. We then wanted to order more wine and were stood over until my husband had picked out another bottle from the wine list. To be honest he did take an extra long time to select one because he wanted to see if the waiter would take the hint that you really shouldn't stand over a diner whilst they're perusing the wine list, he didn't!
It is quite expensive for Tapas and perhaps they should visit Ambiente to see how tapas should be served all in all quite disappointing.
Beautiful stylish restaurant with great service let down by poor chefs... The food, especially for the price, was mediocre at best and inedible at worse. Soggy fish batter, really tough aubergines, reheated congealed rice, and the squid wasn't good at all. I heard they had a new menu - well the chefs really need to get to grips with cooking basic Spanish food if they want to charge the prices they charged. The manager dealt with our complaint well though and took the dodgy dishes of the bill. The Iberica in London is a completely different level to this one. Really disappointed as it was a special meal out.
This is the third time I have visited this restaurant and unfortunately I was very disappointed. The service was all over the place no consistency of waiters and hard at times to get one. The food was a big let down very average and some of it was cold. But the biggest let down was having told the restaurant in advance that we were celebrating my sons birthday and could they make it special,he didn’t even get a happy birthday, no complimentary drink, in fact a big fat zero. The only thing they they were ok about was that my daughter was running late due to a delayed train. Felt it was massively over priced considering our experience and left me feeling very underwhelmed. Won’t be returning anytime soon.
Excellent ambiance with great food. I love the concept of - serving when it’s ready.
Fantastic food, great atmosphere and lovely service.
Tapas were good but not exceptional. The Paella was very disappointing. There are many better restaurants in Leeds.
The service and food was very poor for the the kind of charges they are making
Slow service and lack of interest from staff. Waited 45 minutes from the original booking time to be seated then a further 20 minutes for drinks. Food is ok but pricey in retrospect. 12.5% discretionary service charge for a table of two isn’t great, especially when the service didn’t justify a tip at all....
Ratings would have been higher but on a busy Saturday early evening we had to wait quite a time before being served our starters and then a longer wait (although that wait time had been explained) for our mains - our of a group of 4 of us ordered various dishes - 2 dishes never turned up but were on our bill - (subsequently removed) - either get more staff, take less bookings or get your staff to check all the food is on the table. My friends had just enough but I was still slightly hungry. All that being said the food we did eat was lovely and the place has an excellent vibe ....
