Relax with friends or colleagues over tapas for lunch or after work drinks, have night out with friends or a romantic meal for two. We promise to put the authentic Spanish touch, whatever the occasion!
Spent a lovely evening with my daughter after gin festival, shame we couldn’t have paella due to time
Faultless and fun
We will definitely go again
Everything was perfect
Very good food and service. Waitress had excellent knowledge of the menu. We were celebrating a birthday and received a cava and ice cream on the house for the person having the birthday - a very nice touch, thank you.
Excellent food and great ambiance. A very smart restaurant and the food and choices were great. A little expensive but you do get what you pay for. We will definitely go again.
Friendly and generally capable staff. Our server brought more water promptly (my pet peeve is waiting for water). Food was all delicious. It was explained that the food comes as it’s ready, but we were disappointed that we had patatas bravas and potato croquettes arrive a while before anything else. As they are clearly accompaniments to a more main dish, they should come alongside other items. They were cool by the time any of the meat or fish dishes arrived. One dish was forgotten and my guest had to remind a waiter. Otherwise we were happy!
I booked with friends, prior to an event at the town hall. The helpful staff made sure we were served quickly but did not feel rushed. Food was fantastic, wine good quality and staff were attentive but not intrusive. Would thoroughly recommend!
The only disappointment I felt here is that we had not discovered Iberica Leeds before now!
A great find for fab service, food and environment!
Will definitely go again.
Overall fine - we deliberately ordered the starters and main courses separately (about 10 minutes apart) as we wanted them to be brought separately... but everything was brought all at once... Maybe we should have expected this given it is a Tapas restaurant but it seemed fairly obvious that it was wanted as separate courses or we would have ordered it all at the same time ... Anyway - the restaurant took away the main course and re-served us once we had finished the starters so it was no big deal ... If you eat here and want time between courses - say this explicitly to the servers so they know ... Other than that everything was perfect - food was lovely, wine even better, ambience great.
I have had such mixed experiences of Ibérica. I’ve had some of the best meals in Leeds in Ibérica and also some of the worst dining experiences - Sunday night fell into the latter category. It’s such a shame as sometimes it is fantastic but I’ve given up now with how unpredictable/hit & miss it is. The restaurant was not geared up for a bank holiday Sunday night, there were hardly any staff working. We had to wait in the bar for 50 minutes before our table was ready despite the fact the restaurant wasn’t full. The service was insanely slow, so slow that we left before dessert!! The food was not up to the usual standards and the portions were tiny... although this did provide some comedy value, the cheese board in particular was so tiny (about a quarter of the usual size) that it clearly took great skill to cut the cheese into such small pieces... all very bizarre. All in all I’ve had enough of the unpredictable quality and service... i won’t be returning.
Foods and wine was excellent. Surroundings are very elegant. Food is pricey but you get what you pay for. We would definitely go back and recommend to others.
Fantastic dining experience yet again! Will be back again soon!
Really delicious food, fairly pricey, but a good treat. Would prefer a more relaxed atmosphere
Great tapas restaurant in stunning surroundings. Based in a well maintained, beautifully restored period building. Good food too!
2nd time of dining here, 1st time there were 13 of us, this time 4. Still received the same high standard of attention & service. The food is fantastic too! Lovely ambience.
The food was out of this world, the whole place amazing. But they need to introduce more affordable wine. It was too extortionate and ruined the occasion. We would have loved to have made an evening of it, but refuse to pay over ten pound for a decent size wine.
Fab food, great venue you will not be disappointed
Delicious food, came out really quickly and the service was great !
Food was beautiful, interior design is beautiful, even the toilets are beautiful! Lovely atmosphere, chilled and relaxed to take your time with tapas. Just like the Spanish!
Best tapas I’ve had in Leeds. Great portion sizes and delicious
The best food I’ve ever eaten!!
My boyfriend and I ordered 4 plates each to share. Some portions were smaller than others, but we left absolutely stuffed!
It was a very special treat as it’s certrainly not the cheapest place to eat, but for a special occasion I would recommend to anyone (but perhaps not my vegetarian friends as almost all dishes contain meat/fish)
We loved it and hope to be able to return
Lovely relaxed lunch. No rush. Bar man was great topping up our wine. Food was lovely. We will be back!
Very beautiful venue, really nice food
Overall amazing experience. Will definitely be coming again.
Had to wait very long time for a cod dish. To the point that we didn't want it anymore when it arrived. It didn't taste very nice so it was a disappointing wait. I think there should have been some recognition of the poor service time on this dish. It was in excess of 30 minutes after the rest of our food.
Exceptional food and service. The ambiance and decor was superb.
The service was attentive and efficient. The food was incredible. Traditional authentic dishes were made to perfection and the more contemporary offerings were delicious and creative. Great experience.
The food was well cooked, flavoursome and piping hot.
We all had different favourites across the dishes we ordered.
The wine was a little too nice! (Extra bottles required)
The food was ok but not amazing and our table was next to the staircase in view of the kitchen and piles of clearing away which wasn’t the best spot. We did ask to move but there wasn’t anything else. I’d suggest they don’t use that table or clear up the views! The building is beautiful though so lots of positives. Service was good with the staff all knowledgable on the food and wine menu. Very Spanish so don’t expect a variety of wine etc.
Really disappointed, ordered a sea food paella for 2 to share, lingustines were under cooked and the paella overall had very little taste let alone very little in terms of quantity. Starters were tiny, few slices of meat which again was tasteless....
Been a few times now but the service was appauling and the quality of food was not that great either. Noticed other tables complaining too. Restaurant has totally ignored my complaint. Will not be returning.
Hello Aisha, I have emailed you today. Please respond at your earliest convenience. Kind regards Matt Kerrywood General Manager
The best place to eat in Leeds.
Wonderful food and excellent service.
The food was outstanding with amazing flavours and decent sizes for tapas. Not too expensive and lovely service with good recommendations from the waitress. Would definitely visit again!
Great service, amazing food and a perfect Friday evening treat
The food was delicious but it was tiny portions for the price. We ordered the paella which looks wonderful upon arrival, but it is the thinnest layer of rice. Service was ok. We waited a while for the bill and dessert service.
Excellent in most ways just felt some of the drinks- in particular the Gin were a little expensive at £11.00 for a gin and tonic
staff were very attentive, the place is really well thought out with unusual architecture/interior. Food and ambience very nice. We will definitely go again
We love it, one of my favourite places to eat. Amazing
I booked Iberica as a surprise meal for my boyfriends birthday and I was not disappointed. The beautiful setting was complimented by the outstanding food and service. Would highly recommend!!
Fantastic building and really good fitout
Friday lunch meal was great
Very tasty dishes and good service
Individual plates are not very big so order plenty
Sadly, really disappointing. The food came so fast after we ordered it that we were almost finished by 25 minutes after arriving. Food was luke warm.
£12.50 for a pork dish that I wouldn’t serve to my dog.
Very expensive for what you get.
Room is beautiful and server was nice but that’s as far as it goes. I wouldn’t go back for the food.
