The restaurant can seat up to 150 guests, all of whom will have full views of the iconic Hong Kong skyline and Victoria Harbour. With 360 degree views that wrap around the venue, Hutong has a maximum capacity of 200 persons standing.
Huge lunch that needed free flowing ruinart to wash down properly. Come hungry preferably early enough.
Outstanding ambiance with great views of Hong Kong and harbour and city lights. Wait staff a bit green and food was tasty, but not to the level expected.
One of my favorites - a place to keep coming back to.
Mother’s Day brunch. Excellent food, great service and family friendly. A treat.
Though good for special occasions, you are unlikely to get a window seat. Some of the food was salty and spicy. Dishes heavily consisted of chilies and vegetables rather then poultry/meat/fish
Excellent views of the harbor. It’s inside the skyscraper, one Peking place, so you won’t find its own signs on the street for it, just the building directory, 28th floor.
It is touristy but the food is solid Asian fusion and has fast service and a very nice staff. The place is loud and dark but the views make up for all of that. I would definitely recommend it.
Superb restaurant with great service, food and views! We had a fantastic table and had delicious food and a gorgeous birthday dessert. Restaurant went out of their way to accomodate dietary and birthday!
Excellent as always. Fabulous place, great food and amazing views
Great view. Average food. Bad service.
I visited here with my parents. It was the first time my parents visiting Hong Kong and this was the dinner for the last night in HK.
We ordered the course and its value was far more than the price. Great quality and quantity, and the view.
We were rushed due to the flight, but the waiter was kindly arranged the timing.
Thank you for everything.
I definitely recommend here for the special occasion.
Fantastique restaurant. Le service est très agréable et professionnel
Un restaurant à recommander
I have eaten at Hu Tong 3 times and it is one of my favourite places to eat in Hong Kong. The food is amazing and offers a modern twist on some classic dishes from around China and also locally. The service is attentive but not crowding and the view is a magical panorama of HK Island harbour. The decor makes you feel like you are in a period drama set in old China.
It was a remarkable evening and we enjoyed the food and our stay. The view from the window table was marvellous. The price is high but is corresponding to our expectations.
Outstanding food - probably the best Chinese meal we’ve ever had. And the view of the Hong Kong harbour light show was incredible. The service was a bit patchy when it came to serving the wine - the staff seemed a little confused as to when to serve it. But other than that it was an experience to remember for ever!
Very nice 18-dishes fung-wei lunch
A view to die for, great food, excellent service. Can’t complain even if the menu is on the pricey side.
It was good taste food and fantastic view. But the food little bit expensive. Anyway I was good at Hutong.
Really lovely prawns, fantastic view and nice ambience, which makes it worth a visit.
But unfriendly waiter, who didn't smile once and placed the food on the table without a single comment.
Delicious food that you don't have Everyday, this place is something unique. They were happy to accommodate a vegetarian and no pork menu without any advance notice so they flexible and have good options as well.
Good value for money, lovely 3hrs food and champagne brunch but a bit noisy.
Overall very good!
The food was amazing. However, we waited one hour for our first appetizer to arrive, and then the rest of our appetizers and meals were delivered together 15 minutes after that.
Great ambience! Dim lighting throughout the restaurant accentuates the HK skyline backdrop. Food is above average but for the price, there's room for improvement for the food quality and service.
A must do when you visit Hong Kong. Amazing range of beautiful different dishes along with attentive service. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and such a wonderful view. We had lunch which was lovely and only wished we had time to return to enjoy the dinner experience.
The place is quite expensive but the set business lunch was great value. Food excellent.
great place to take overseas visitors at night to see across to the Island and light show - excellent food esp Peking Duck
Family visit to Hong Kong
One of the best restaurants of Hong Kong. The Pekin’s Duck is very tasty. And the view of Hong Kong from the restaurant’s windows is breathtaking!
Super Ente! Knusprig, lecker, einfach perfekt. Wurde direkt am Tisch zubereitet.
Great food, amazing food, and service was on point. Definitely recommend
Fantastic views, nice ambience, good service and delicious food. The vegetarian options are particularly good.
First honeymoon lunch
The peking duck was delicious! It is a must! The service was ok, the staff need to smile more...vegetarian dishes were ok, but meat dishes were lovely and so was dessert. Was given a fantastic view of the harbour and was able to watch the light show from our seats. The music played during the light show is the same one they play at the harbour which was a lovely experience for my out of town guest. Started to get much louder as we were leaving, around 9pm.
Honestly- there are better places to eat. They didn't honor a reservation request and the service was surly at best. Additionally, the food was just OK, really nothing special or outstanding. We opted for the tasting menu but literally no one introduced the dishes and they flung each dish onto the table like so much trash. Whatever- wouldn't come back and I don't think it was worth the $200USD/pp price tag
After doing a lot of searching online for a client dinner, I found positive reviews for Hutong. Our clients visiting from the US were extremely pleased with our dinner, but in terms of quality but also for the ambiance and view. Hutong is not an inexpensive restaurant, but we had a very memorable evening. Highly recommended for dinners when you want to impress -- particularly with people visiting from out of town.
Great once as a tourist or special occasion if you haven’t seen the harbour lights.
Better value and service can be found elsewhere
the fish with few little bone. overall was great just a bit disappoint with the fish
Excellent food and great location to see the light show on Hong Kong island. Nice Interior decoration
Great food but portions are huge and better value smaller portions might be preferred. The service was patchy. Some total lack of understanding from some waiters which is strange given the very high percentage of foreign guests in this touristy venue.
Always visit this restaurant when in Hong Kong - we also use the one in the Shard in London as it is close to our office!
Great food, amazing views, ambient stylish setting...all worthy of a 5 star international restaurant.
The service however was not worthy of international guests... (3 star)
Extremely overrated. Terrible service.
