About this restaurant

Great for craft beers
Neighbourhood gem
Great for happy hour

Humperdinks started in 1976 as a friendly neighborhood restaurant and gathering place. At Humperdinks we proudly serve Serious Comfort Food, made from scratch daily and offered in our friendly and warm atmosphere. Five decades later we offer freshly brewed-in-house gold medal winning Craft Beer and locally-sourced products for our “America’s Favorite Comfort Foods” menu. Corn-fed and Hand-Cut Rib Eye Steak, Alaska Salmon, Chicken & Waffles, Gourmet Burgers featuring our Kobe Beef Burger and Impossible Burger, House-made Pizza Dough and Breakfast All Day are among the favorites of Texans and travelers to the Metroplex. Humperdinks has something for all of your dining preferences: a quiet booth for two, private rooms for special events and a fun and lively bar area (full menu always available). We open daily at 11am and our full menu is available until 1:30am daily. Plus we offer a special Mimosa Brunch Menu on Saturday and Sunday until 5pm.

This is our 3rd year to go for Thanksgiving. Last year - it was 8 of us. This year, only 2. However, the food tasted like someone's grandmother had been cooking in the kitchen for hours. The food was EXCELLENT (except for dessert - tasted like store-bought ). The turkey, dressing, green beans were all fresh and delicious. It was all you could eat, but the portions were so large that 1 plate was enough. The service has always come up a bit short, but I chalk that up to getting people to work on the holiday, and it being so busy. We had reservations and they did not disappoint with getting us quickly to our table on-time. Great Meal!!! I hope they make some changes to the desserts because after having such a fresh, homemade meal to eat a piece of pie which tasted like it came straight out of the box, was disappointing.

Came here while visiting my son at SMU. It was very cozy & inviting on a rainy Friday evening. The appetizer list is great. They brew their own beer. Our entrees were excellent, as was the service. The atmosphere is lively & fun! We’ll definitely be back!!

The food, service, and atmosphere were great but, no one that worked there, including the manager knew anything about the restaurant’s affiliation with Opentable!!! He had to contact the GM to find out how to confirm that I showed up for my reservation!
