Really awesome place with fantastic selection of wine and nibbles. Highly recommend and will return.
Our host was amazing! Knowledgeable and was very friendly and definitely made our visit memorable. We need more people like him in this world.
Service staff were fantastic. Good wines by the glass.
The only criticism is they don't have a full list of wines available by the bottle. They invite you to browse the shelves, although when busy, this is not practical as diners are sat in front of them! An issue in all Humble Grape wine bars, but would still recommend
Food was amazing! All 9 of us had the roast and it was perfect! Service was also amazing!
Food was very good, but portions are extremely small while prices are very large. Service is also a bit chaotic a slow.
Fantastic staff. Great wine. Good tunes
Awesome service ! Waiters were amazing and made the eve extra special!!
Had a really wonderful evening here. Great wine recommendations and delicious small plates. The service was a real highlight, Sean and Rashaun were both exceptionally charming and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make sure we had a good night. Would definitely recommend.
Really delicious food and wine. Everything we ate was outstanding.
Very cool place.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Especially Shaun.
We had the Saturday afternoon bottomless deal, which was good value. Would probably be a bit pricey without the deal.
Our second visit did not disappoint. We were welcomed back by Thomas (who immediately remembered us), and offered a free glass of prosecco. The wine was on-point, and the room was buzzing with a lively atmosphere. Would recommend a try.

The managing team is really good, and supportive with a good knowledge of wines and the procedures. We had a lovely chat with Thomas. Thanks fo that.
Definitely a must go.
We love it here and all the dishes were delicious but such a shame that the cheapest bottle of rose was £39 which pushed our bill to more than expected. A neighbourhood wine bar should have reasonably priced wine on the menu.
Suuuuper slow service with no apologies. It took me 20 minutes just to order a glass of wine and I’d been there 45 minutes before it arrived. Just really disappointing.
Food, wine and service were all fab! Was our first time visiting and will definitely return.
The main smellier was very knowledgable and tailored recommendations to what we liked as a couple. More junior staff were a little all rushed off their feet and could have communicated a little better when things took some time.
Barman who had just started was great chat!
great service and lovely food and wine. Quiet and perfect for a late lunch.
Has such a great experience here! Highly recommend! Food and wine was excellent, staff were really friendly and had great expertise. We came for a birthday treat and we’re made to feel special by the staff having a glass of Prosecco on arrival! A great experience 10/10.
Excellent wine , okay food - service was great :)
Had a lovely evening at the Humble Grape in Islington. After an initial issue with our booking, the staff made their most to accommodate us and make up for the confusion. Great food, good wine and attentive staff. Thank you!
When we got there, they did not accept us due to a party. They did not even send is and Email not called us to let us know about the cancelation. Poor customer service.
I know Humble Grape as I always visit my area one in Canary Wharf and I have to say I have been truly disappointed. From the fact that my guest arrived before me and said she felt very uncomfortable as the waiter (I think it was manager) was rude to her, to the point when we were given very poor attention (mainly from him) and none attentive service at all, plus I have to say the quality of food was shocking as for Humble Grape standards I know! Octopus in chimichurri was literally just cut in few pieces and put dry on board (usually comes in a bowl with sauce!) loads of dry sourdough bread and some crab pate put on top of one- not even enough to share by two... Fish- dry, you could see and feel it was fried in old oil or whatever they've done to it... Burratina tasted to be off. It was sour and not creamy at all. I am so disappointed I will certainly not be going back to this branch. Very sad to say, because I love the company, but there's something wrong with how this place is managed.
We really enjoyed how knowledgeable the staff were, the excellent selection of wine and the overall ambience.
We had a lovely evening.
A lovely find. Really interesting wine flight and a good range of dining options
Great service. Really attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. A real variety of flavours across a range of small plates. Great selection of wine
Food was excellent, service the same, wine a bit pricey but it is a wine bar after all.
Great food! Authentic and full of flavour. Will be going back.
Good wine, great service and excellent steak, but it was all very pricey (e.g. we weren't told that the sauce for steak we were offered was 3£ extra, not written on the menu either, the first glasses of wine are 8£+). Portions are small and some of the charcuterie felt store-bought.
It was my girlfriend's birthday and our waitress really made a fuss of us. She was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations for the wine. The food was delicious- we will be back!
Tried this restaurant for the first time and ordered the veggie brunch. Food was OK - a lot more greasier than it needed to be. Toast was drenched in oil and halloumi was deep fried. Not going back anytime soon.
We came here for the Sunday roast (chicken and pork) and the chicken was really good. Came with a deal for some free wine when we ordered for 4 sets of Sunday roast. Ended with a lovely sticky toffee, highly recommended!
Was excited to have a neighbourhood wine bar, but am still looking for one after this experience. The food and wine were fine, but the waiter ruined the evening. I understand that his job is to get people to purchase more but he was pushy to the point that we were uncomfortable.
We put in our order and he insisted multiple times that we NEEDED the baked Camembert after I told him we definitely did not. We finally just said fine because he would not drop it. When we did not finish eating it because it was too much food and not that great, he wouldn't take our plates away until we finished everything because it was 'insulting to the chef to return food.'
When we ordered two desserts to split between three people, he told us that people should have their own desserts. We just laughed but he brought us three desserts (and charged us for all three). Any other night I would have said something, but this was a special occasion so I decided to let it go.
He also sat down at our table to talk multiple times without invitation. The worst part was when I tried to pay for the meal and he made a big deal out of a woman paying for two men. He made us all feel uncomfortable about it when he continued to make jokes about this and kept giving the bill to the men. Apparently it's 1950 in Humble Grape?
Excellent service and lovely food. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and the Sunday roast was very well done.
Bonus free bottle of wine on a Sunday - a big win!
food not great, worst scallops ever. do not recommend food
Great food, nice setting, great wines, very lovely and friendly staff! Will return!
Great place, casual and friendly service. Great selection of wine and food
Poor service and mediocre food
Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly helpful service, all in all a good experience.
