We have been regular patrons of Hozys for years and just over the last year to year and a half the time to get served has become way too long. Our appetizers came out fairly quickly but our entree took a very long time. We will continue to join you and your wonderful staff in the future. Thank you Larry Schuss
Hozy's has always been a special place to dine. Food is always excellent, staff is friendly and efficient, and the decor is very well done.
We were not impressed with our appetizers, the crab was mushy and the abalone just tasted awful. I thoroughly enjoyed my entree though. I had the Sea Bass and it was cooked to perfection. My husband was not happy with the cowboy steak, it was overcooked and lacked flavor. The wait staff was on point and we did enjoy our evening. We will go back and give it another try.
The food and service were excellent. I had requested a booth but was told there was no record. There was a drunk at the bar that was extremely loud and offensive. He stopped my husband when he was returning from the restroom and became very aggressive. The alcohol should have been turned off in order to avoid the incident.
Fantastic menu . Always a “go to” if you want the most fabulous meal .. servers excellent , overall experience a 20* out of 10... ☺️josie
The best restaurant in Santa Paula... and maybe Ventura County. A hidden gem.
This is a very good restaurant that pays attention to the quality of the food they are serving. The restaurant is not very big, but it was packed the entire time we were there which is a testament to the popularity of this local restaurant. The menu has a great range of offerings in the food we ordered came out hot, promptly and good quantity without sacrificing quality. Surprisingly excellent wine left and a nice assortment by the glass. I can tell that the owner of this restaurant is a very good cook and enjoys his job!
The food was delicious and everyone there was welcoming and helpful.
A great off-the-beaten-track spot hidden away in a Santa Paula industrial park. Food was delish and servers were great. We’ll be back.
Excellent food and staff was great. We were not rushed thru our meal and there was plenty left over for my son to take back to school
We love Hozy’s but it was a special occasion ( Jacks 86th birthday) and I had requested a booth.
We got a table out in the middle and it was noisy.
The food was wonderful as always and the drinks were excellent.
Service was fair. We seemed to have about 3 different people waiting on us.
We will always recommend Hozy’s and we will go back.
Awesome food, great service, great drink selection! We will certainly come back after such a wonderful first experience at Hozy’s
Excellent food, service and good ambiance. Out in the middle of no where, but definitely a place I recommend. All three of us would go again!
Throughly enjoyed our dinner at this little, cozy hometown restaurant. Menu choices were great and individual preferences were accommodated. Will go back.
Always love going to Hozy’s. Creative menu great food. Never disappointed!!
I was looking forward to trout or sea bass that were on your website that day. When we got to Hozy’s these items were not on the menu so I was disappointed and had to choose something else, which was very good but my disappointment remained. You should keep your website up to date or remove the menu options.
Heard about the Hozy's Grill and it lived up to its reputation. Excellent food and service. Wide selection of wine and food choices.
Excellent food choices and excellent service.
They menu changes so there’s always something new and interesting to try.
An unlikely fine dining spot in Santa Paula. Comfort food, strong on meats, large portions, good flavors. Service and setting are casual, but good.
Awesome I can’t believe I have never been here great food!
Great little out of the way restaurant with wonderful food
Hozy's always delivers a fabulous meal. Quality products, great service, friendly atmosphere.
Anytime you want a great meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner, go to Hozy's Grill.
You won't be disappointed.

Food was great, service spectacular!
Great Martinis accompanied Shahito peppers and
Hamachi, followed by perfectly cooked Prime Rib. The wine list is varied and extensive for every budget. A little noisy, but the food is delicious.
everything was prepared to perfection, probably the best place in Ventura County
Recommended by a friend of a friend, so we decided to try it for our "date night". OMGosh- Excellent food, wonderful staff and pleasant atmosphere. We had a great time talking with other "regular" patrons about the history of the restaurant, the area and the various food selections offered. We WILL be back and look forward to becoming a "regular"! I can't wait to try the Fried Chicken this next time!!
Wonderful service and wine 🍷 the food always fabulous
Food was nice and in generous portion. However, we have to wait for over 30 mins for our table, WITH reservation. Nobody even bother to follow up with us on the wait. Almost lost our table to a couple without reservation, have I not reminded the server we have been waiting for our table. Service was slow but servers are polite and friendly.
Food is always exceptional. Staff is friendly and amazing. Can't say enough good things about my favorite place to hang out with friends and enjoy a great meal!
We've never been disappointed. Always exceptional food with a wine list like no other!
My favorite place for date night with hubby. Fantastic food and service.
Superb food, wine, cocktails and service every time
Hozy's is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, but also for no occasion! We are very particular about the food we eat and only have about a half-dozen restaurants in the Ventura area that we recommend to friends, and Hozy's is at the top of the list. My wife is in love with the prime rib, we both love the skinny fries, the wine list is top notch and they have excellent pizza too. I had the lobster cobb most recently and loved it. Their fresh breads are a great start. The wait staff is well-trained and pay attention to their customers. What's not to like?
I had read about Hozy’s many years ago in the LA Times and have had it on my list. The service was slow but the food was outstanding. The restaurant is crowded and going to the restroom was a problem for my brother who is on a walker. The waitress forgot that it was my birthday until I said something as we were getting ready to leave. They passed around a dessert tray that showed huge slices of cheesecake. We elected to bring a slice home which was about half the size of the samples xon the tray.
Nice surprise! Great food, lovely decor, good service. However, I would not want to sit any where other than a booth. Center tables packed very close together and tends to be noisy.
Hozy's is one of only a few restaurants in Ventura County that we can count on, review well and enjoy every time we go there. We go there for the food; excellent quality, chef's creativity and great wine list/liquor selections. The appetizers are wonderful, notably the skinny onion rings. While they have great steaks, excellent fish entries and vegetarian options, they also have hand-crafted pizza!
We recently had the pleasure of eating there two nights in a row, didn't repeat a dish and what was left over was a savory Saturday lunch!
We really enjoyed our food. Steak was undercooked, but still all was delish.
Liz and her team are the best!
This was our first visit to Hozy’s, we enjoyed every aspect of the evening, the food was fantastic and the staff exceptional. I had the 14oz flatiron steak and my wife had the medallion trio with blue cheese, mushroom gravy and onion strings. Great place to take friends for an casual dinner, the decor is interesting and being that it is part of ARP makes it unusual.
Love this place is my favorite and the chef always has the best specials.
