Delicious food and a very pleasant and attentive (Nepalese) server. We love eating at House of Naan even though we are probably 40 years older than the average clientele! Our children introduced us to this restaurant.
We were a table of 6 from kids to grandparents. We all found something delicious to eat, from the shrimp app, to eggplant chaat to masala fries to the old staples. We stayed a while and weren't rushed. Service and ambience were excellent.
House of Naan is a terrific place to go for a meal. The staff were incredibly gracious and welcoming, having us seated within minutes of our reservation time. The food is amazing, delicious, and reasonably priced for the portions served. I highly recommend anyone wanting Indian food to consider House of Naan. You will not be disappointed.
If you love Indian food, you will love House of Naan. Excellent!
Great service..great food..the lentil soup can be better though.
Extremely flavorful food; great options for gluten free and vegetarian.
Service is always top notch! Julia is amazing and the food is always on point!
Great experience. Server was the best we’ve had there. Love the food. The lighting is kind of dreary tho. Some soft warm light bulbs or more lower lighting would make it more cozy.
Fabulous! We were a relatively large party which kept getting larger, which the staff accommodated cheerfully and graciously. The food was excellent. (Everyone thought so.) They got us all out in time for a concert deadline, well-fed and happy. Excellent experience.
My husband and I love House of Naan! We have dined in several times and it is always excellent. This time we brought our families for dinner and we're so happy that they loved it too. Two guest were unfamiliar with Indian cuisine and were so delighted by how flavorful, delicious and fragrant their meals were. Korma and saag are our go to, as well as the samosas and of course naan basket! So good!
Always fabulous! GREAT food and impeccable service. Best Indian food anywhere.
I still come back to New Haven from NYC for this Indian food! Delicious and special every time.
A modern take on Indian classics and well-prepared and not overdone. A welcome addition to New Haven's food scene!
Fabulous food! Great wait staff! Worth the drive from Westport!
Decent food. Very slow service. Received food, before our drinks. Had to keep flagging down the server, as he never checked on us.
Great food and ambiance!
Servers very attentive and accommodating!
Delicious authentic Indian food A++
Great place! Food was delicious and staff is very friendly. Drinks are amazing!
Food was really good. Service was prompt even though we were a large group.
Thank you very much fo securing the table for our big group
have been to HON several times now and the food and service is excellent every time,
Great service and great food. Will come again when in new haven.
House of Naan is the best Indian food we've discovered. Small bites like the fried okra and 65 Howe Chicken Bites are outrageously good. Happy hours have great prices and innovative cocktails. Eggplant Chaat was crispy and served with perfect condiments. All the food is exceptionally fresh and well prepared. They have a happy and fun staff and we love that they just celebrated of month of sharing by donating a portion of weekly proceeds to local charities. You've got to love an establishment that not only creates and serves fantastic food, but then share the love and give back to the community like this. It's on our list for monthly places to visit and for special occasions.
Great small plates and outstanding Naan basket. Creative cocktails. Happy Hour is a real bargain with $8 cocktails and $5 small plates - great way to sample the menu.
Place is clean and has a cool atmosphere. Our server was nice and helpful. Interesting cocktail menu and the food was scrumptious. Don’t get to New Haven offer, but we had a blast at HoN and will hopefully be back.
I would go again,
very good food
