Our first time dining at Secco was great overall. My family decided to dine here primarily because but was "across" the street from the San Jose Performing Arts Center for our viewing of Phantom. Overall, the food was good to great. We ordered 2 apps (flat bread pizza - Margherita (7.5/10), chips and guac with a tomato based dip (7/10). Seafood linguine (8.5/10), Alfredo pasta (8/10), chicken Caesar salad (8/10). I had an Old Fashioned (9+/10), well balanced and smoky), and an IPA (good, but I forget name). Pro Tip: Our waiter mentioned that diners there can park at Hilton parking lot, with I think validation for free. ***BUT, PLEASE CALL the hotel and restaurant to confirm! I did not park there because I did not know about this perk, and because I had already prepaid for parking through SpotHero about 10+ mins. walk away.

Location was great for having brunch before attending the show. Food was excellent. Service was good, but slow. We also ordered iced tea and were given cinnamon iced tea and refilled with plain. Service seemed a bit off and short staffed

The food and service was terrible. Two of us had salads and the chicken was dry and there was very little fruit added.

We had another wonderful experience at Secco!!! Everything was wonderful…ambiance, food and service!!!!! Everyone was lovely and attentive!!! Special Thank You to our special server Lloyd!!!! He is The Best!!!

Perfect place for a cocktail and dinner when in Downtown for special events! The entire staff is amazing and a special shout out to Lloyd and Sima who always take good care of us!

I like the atmosphere at the Secco-Hilton. We eat there primarily because of the location. I ordered a Citrus salad, but not much citrus. The dressing was light and flavorful, however. We ordered a bread basket and we should have sent it back as the bread was stale. Cocktails are $17 for an vodka tonic, but at least it wasn't all ice and they filled it to the top.

Our server, Lloyd, put in 110% effort to be personable and friendly. He succeeded. The main course was good and large. It is not Michelin level food, but pretty good. The dessert choices were lacking though. The food makes a restaurant successful or not. This place mostly succeeded. The place needs to work on desserts choices though. It is a place we would visit again in the future. Make sure you park at the Hilton garage versus the San Jose Convention Center lot. The place was remodeled around two years ago.
