   Probably the only restaurant I have been to in Gold Coast, and possibly Australia, where each of the 6 guests were thoroughly impressed with all the dishes, There was nothing in terms of both quality or taste that could be faulted. 3 of us had the Street Feast Banquets which are very comprehensive, and the quantity completely filled 3 hungry adults. It is definitely recommended, if those selecting the Street Feast can agree on the dishes to be selected. The remaining 3 guests were smaller eaters, and ordered a combination of dishes to share among themselves. Overall very highly recommended, and I will return again very soon. Thanks also to the staff managing a very busy Saturday evening, with significant amounts of dishes being ordered by many tables. They also made a special effort as a birthday was being celebrated, and a complimentary birthday treat dessert item was provided for all to share. This level of service is very rare in today's world.

   Have been here many times but this will be our last. Booked months out for a birthday, which was noted but seated smack in a walkway next to a huge table of children- not a great start but we just went with it. The place was half full but we had to flag a waitress to take our order after 20min. Food came out completely cold, when we explained she just kept repeating its cold. Finally she took the food away and only bought back one of the dishes. After half an hour, we gave up walked to the front and paid (nit for the missing dish) when we explained there was no apology. Care factor was zero, so will not be returning nor will we be recommending.

   We love this hidden gem and have dined here many times. The food is terrific, with a little twist that makes it interesting and tasty. Unfortunately the welcome tonight was a little tardy on arrival, however the food was still delicious as ever.

   Sensational! Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Lovely food with a good depth of flavour that was also very light & fresh. The steamed fish in broth was cooked perfectly with beautiful flavours. Can't recall the name of our waitress but sespite being very busy she was very attentive and helpful, thankyou!

   Overall the ambience and decor of the restaurant is great. Outside space is large with umbrellas hanging across the roof. Looks good. Unfortunately the evening we went (a Tuesday) was not good. The food took over an hour to come and the kids were getting increasingly “Hangry”. Our waitress disappeared for 15 minutes and then food turned up cold and it had been sat waiting to come out. We had to send it back and wait AGAIN. We did speak to the manager who was polite and understanding saying that their systems kept crashing, understaffed, a large birthday party and loads of walk ins (i mean why take the walk in’s if you cant service the customers who have booked?) Eventually food came which was great. Just very frustrating service. We did receive some free drinks and 10% off food so they did accommodate us well in the end. Also please check the glasses and cups. Filthy…..

    I took my partner for his Birthday. We hadn’t been before but we love Asian Fusion where we can share little bits of everything… and this is exactly what we got. 4 different share plates between the two of us was just the right amount… and everything was delicious!! The cocktails were well priced and very tasty!! Great little hidden gem in Broadbeach. Only downside (and the is in no way is under the control of the restaurant) parking is hard to find, especially on a Saturday night… but it’s worth the effort and the walk!!! Put your walking shoes on and make your way to Hideaway Restaurant and Bar! You’ll be grateful for the walk back to the car when you’re full to the brim with their gorgeous food!!!
