   I am never one to complain, but oh dear! We were told to go there because the meat was so fantastic. It was our anniversary and I thought, with our one night on the mountain, that it would be great. I’m so sorry to say, I’ve never eaten brisket that was so dry.. except the one time I tried my hand at it… but I digress.. the Meat platter for two was a serious disappointment.. the wings were soggy, the ribs weren’t tender, the pork was ok… the best part about the meal was the chips. We were sat at a high bar.. which was NOT what I booked and the table was approximately 30cm squared and shoved up against the bar so we were sitting right against the till area and a selection of soft drinks and beers, that my husband had to be careful not to knock over as he ate. Luckily the bar top proved useful as an extension of the table so our food would fit.. having a single and delightful waiter ( lovely young girl of Asian heritage )to serve the entire restaurant meant nobody got a second drink unless they got up and asked for one. I hope this was just an anomaly.. but we won’t be back.

   Was not open despite taking our booking and credit details. Facebook was not clear when we looked it up after. The place was completely closed and only lucky another place was able to fit in our booking of 5 people last minute. So disappointing.

   If I could rate it higher I would, my husband and I came on our honeymoon and everything was absolutely delicious, meat melted in our mouths, mocktails were amazing and the cheeseburger spring rolls were out of this world. A truly perfect dinner with a lovely setting, server was very nice and it was a good price for such a wonderful meal.

   Must be under new management No customers although we needed to make a booking ….? Had been several times before - always busy Food was warm not hot - smaller servings not conducive to charge Ambience felt flat Service was good & she was ans helpful ans she could be, although didn’t really understand our needs or conversation. It felt like the restaurant had been sold, menu advised and then food ordered direct rather than prepared to match the target market A real shame as we loved it previously

   The Pork ribs and brisket were amazing! Would 100% recommend the pork belly bites and mini Philly cheese steak for entree.

   We have enjoyed dinner at Hickory Smoked a number of times in the past couple of years however our recent experience can only be described as disappointing. It was a special birthday dinner for our daughter. When I booked via Open Table we were reminded of a promotion where special events received a free dessert. We contacted the restaurant beforehand and were told our daughter would receive a complimentary dessert. On the night of our dinner we found the staff were not attentive, we had to try to catch their attention to get service, yet the restaurant was only lightly booked. The food was good but slow to arrive and when we asked for the complimentary dessert we were denied and told we needed to register online and request a voucher. There was no mention of this process when I made the booking nor when I spoke to restaurant staff the day before, instead, the complimentary desert was confirmed. Our explanation was not good enough for staff however, and our special dinner ended on a very poor note. I doubt we will return.

   We ordered the share platter for 2. All was good except the smoked ribs had very little meat to share with 2. We also ordered 2 cocktails. Both was really average to a point where one tasted like Diet Coke (long Island ice tea) I have tried this is pretty much any restaurant or bar which serves cocktails and I make my own as well, this was the worse I have tried. The other cocktail tasted like creaming soda. I mentioned to the waitress at the end, her response was she hasn't received a complaint about her cocktails before, I assume it's because no one wants to hurt anyone's feelings I suppose.

   Maybe a little on the expensive side, but the Food we had was excellent other than the poppers. Wouldn't Order the Jalapeno Poppers again. Definitely Overpriced.

    Food was absolutely outstanding, some of the best buffalo wings I’ve ever had. The beef cheeks were so tender it was like butter!
