In the heart of Woodinville Wine Country, Heritage Restaurant|Bar is a locally owned, full-service establishment. Woodinville resident chef/owner Breanna Beike fashioned Heritage as a community hub and casual meeting place where residents gather often, tourists don’t feel like tourists, and the food and drinks are approachable and moderately priced.

Heritage Restaurant|Bar is family friendly, great for date night, and a wine-tourist “not to be missed” location. We are the easy, fun, down-to-earth center of the Hollywood Hill roundabout and a destination in vibrant Woodinville. Heritage is a come-as-you-are kind of place that you’ll love.

A first visit, thought the menu was somewhat limited, so we stuck with salads and appetizers. My wedge salad was delicious as were the caramelized scallops. A little pricey at more that $50 for a salad and two appetizers. Very loud inside, to the point of having a hard time holding a conversation. Were I to recommend a friend, I'd suggest they sit outside. Be ready for tough parking on the weekend as it's surrounded by wine tasting rooms.

I really wanted to like this restaurant as I had read many good things about it and was eager to try it for my daughter's birthday. We sat on the patio, which was very pleasant as it was a lovely evening. Upon checking in we had an opportunity to view (and hear) the inside, which was reminiscent of a high school lunch room with tables lined up next to each other . . . and equally loud. In order to go to the restrooms one had to pass by where food was being brought out, which caused some congestion. We ordered scallops for an appetizer at $36. They were beautifully presented with a nice crust on one side, but barely cooked. We also ordered trout at $26 which came smothered in a brown "pork jus" and was a sloppy looking mess. The sauce overpowered the trout to the point it was not recognizable as trout. The wine we ordered was fine as was the salad. The key lime pie was great. It might be a great spot for burger and a beer in a more "pub" environment. We're not overly eager to return unfortunately.

Heritage continues to be one of my favorites since it opened its doors. Food and service are amazing! The only downfall is it is so hard to park in the lot.

Delicious food in a pretty great space where you can sit outside, inside, or even in a private room. everyone in our party order different things and we all had rave reviews about them. The service was rather busy and a few things were missed like who ordered what and returning a napkin, but otherwise kind and helpful.

Overall, positive. Though, for some reason, when we were first seated there were no servers outside (where almost all of the guests were sitting). No one came back to our table for about 10 minutes or more while we waited to order drinks and meals. After this initial time, service was much better. Food was good. I had the risotto. Would like more vegetarian options!

The service was terrible. Arrived shortly after opening with no customers sitting inside. Party of 2 we were seated at one of the small tables. Our plates barely fit on the table.
After ordering our lunch came immediately. The hash breakfast was a 10. The citrus salad with shrimp was a 5.
Waitress never checked back on us or refilled coffee until they took one persons plate away. As the waitress started to take it I said. One minute, I think she needs a piece of toast to sop the sauce up. And my friend said no that’s ok. I’m done. Then asked, do you not serve bread with your meals and she was told Yes, But YOU have to ask for it!!!
As I finished up my meal I was hoping for another cup of coffee. After grabbing someone else I was able to get a cup. Then my empty plate sat till I finally stacked them and moved it aside.
Got the bill after asking.
Coffee, salad and a muffin. $33

And as the wine tasting crowd filled the restaurant the noise level made it difficult to converse.

Heritage was great. We did a last minute reservation and then got their a little early. Table was waiting. We had brought an older bottle of wine (1995) and the waitress had trouble with cork (which can happen with older bottles). She got help in the back (from the chef) and with some handy tools they were able to decant the wine and it was amazing. Service was really good. The fois gras touchon was excellent as were the entrees. Highly recommended.

Chef Breanna Beike is masterful in her culinary talents. She uses locally sourced vegetables and herbs and fresh seafood to prepare delicious entrees. She makes her own jams, cures her own pate, ages the beef on site and makes her own ice cream. The flavors are fantastic. Fit for foodies, yet comfortable for anyone seeking outstanding food. The Heritage hush puppies with crab and corn are a must! Preparations of halibut and scallops each with beds of varied mushrooms or morels and asparagus, snap peas and other greens were delicious. Can’t say enough about her pate board for a starter and the uniquely presented lemon meringue pie with homemade graham cracker base melts in your mouth. Great selection of wines. Very fairly priced. A restaurant where the food is constantly delicious and a menu robust enough to bring you back for more.

We were visiting the area with two other couples and looking for a special dinner to celebrate Father’s Day.... we were not disappointed. Service was great, out food was outstanding. Items ordered included hushpuppies, citrus salad, fish special, and 1/2 chicken. All was outstanding. We noticed the owner/chef checking each meal before it went out, as well as serving some of them to customers. On of our hubby’s caught her attention and told her we loved everything and appreciated her attention to detail. The key line in a jar was outstanding... and being from Florida, we know good key lime.

I have been here a couple of times. To be honest, while it is within the Woodinville winery district and can be considered to be a winery in its own right, I don't drink wine so can't assess it for that .... but the outstanding food brings me here, and I'll look forward to returning. This time we had the shrimp pasta and the baked halibut and as before, all side dishes (such as the mushrooms, snap peas and lentils accompanying the halibut) were wonderful as were the main items. A side citrus salad was also excellent. We enjoyed the cheesecake dessert but it was not really the star (although very good - but more of an A-/B+). Otherwise, everything else was A to A+.

Service was really good. Attentive but not intrusive. The food, however, was pretty mediocre. I had the hush puppies, which were nice, but the much touted dip that came with them was boring. My companion's meal of the pork shank was also mediocre. We could tell they were trying hard!

It was okay, but nothing to write home about. We shared the crab hush puppies and eggs Benedict and the Benedict was overcooked, hard cold egg, very little hollandaise and it just wasnt anything special. I like the location and the ambiance so I may go back to try a lunch or dinner item but brunch was just okay.

Enjoyed the patio dining and looking forward to coming back many times this summer. The hummus appetizer was perfect to start our meal along with a glass of pink bubbly and my husband his beer. Main courses were the fennel salad with the addition of chicken and the shrimp pasta with fennel sausage. It was all delicious!!

6 people in our party, 3 meals were served, wait, 2 meals were served, really LONG wait, last meal served. First people's food was cold before everyone could start eating.

Food was OK, but certainly not great. Only 1 person took a box home, which is unusual for our group.

2 people ordered IPA beer to drink with the meal. Came after everyone done eating, wasn't IPA.

Gave our reservation to someone else, luckily not busy so there was space available.

Parking is terrible, we had 2 ADA cars, only 1 found a space.

Each and every time I'm in Woodinville, WA, with family or friends, I make a point to stop for lunch or dinner at Heritage Restaurant & Bar. The variety of food and libations they provide is terrific.

My definite favorites for lunch: Daily Oysters, Steamed Hama Hama Clams, Caramelized Sea Scallops, Reuben Sandwich.

My definite favorites for dinner: (same as lunch), Pan Roasted Whole Idaho Trout, Braised Pork Shank.

Best to bring a few family members or friends so that everyone orders something different and can share (if they're up to sharing).

If you're a gin drinker, try the "Empress G&T." If you prefer vodka or tequila, try the "Hot & Bothered."

Have fun and enjoy!

Enjoy the seasonal menu with some of the old favorites and some new additions. The shrimp with pasta in mixed mushrooms cream sauce was to die for. My husband had the halibut and the accompanying very light cream sauce was excellent letting the halibut stand on its own. The fennel/grapefruit salad was bright and fresh.
