Henry's Table @ Ayers House
Henry's Bar offers small, medium and large plate food items as well as a huge selection of wine by the glass. Chesterfields and bar areas can be booked for 4 to 20 guests. The bar is open to the public and casual walk ins.
We booked for a table of 8 and upon arrival were told to just find a table. We were then ignored for approximately 20 minutes (no menus, no drinks order, no acknowledgement we were even there) when we finally ordered drinks the order came back wrong. We had to order entrees twice and the duck wasn’t available and then there wasn’t enough pork for the replacement orders. As we had waited long enough we ordered some fries as we were all starving. We had to ask for these on three seperate occasions and when they did come out the bowl was so small we got approximately 3 fries each (would of ordered more if advised by wait staff). Waited for an hour for entrees and some were ok but others inedible. We canceled our mains and walked out only paying for our drinks.
REALLY REALLY DISAPPOINTED!!! Will not be recommending to anyone!
We came back to Ayers house to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary (we got married at Ayers House) was nice to be able to come back and have an exquisite meal and choices of local produce and wines - beautiful!!
An excellent menu that was sufficiently eclectic to cater for all tastes. Then Wine list was good with a broad price range. Service was very good with knowledgeable attentive staff. The Noise level was very obtrusive but staff responded by lowering audio volume. Would return
We discovered the gem that is Henry’s Table. If you want excellent food, great service and an atmosphere where you can chill and talk, this is the place
Wonderful dining experience perfect for our wedding anniversary
The service was fantastic the staff were very friendly, intuitive and convivial
The food was beautifully presented and great flavours. All in a beautiful setting
Wonderful evening, food was exceptional. Great value overall. Totally recommend and will certainly be returning!
Outstanding food and service
very helpful staff, there was a mix up with our order but this was sorted, a really nice experience would have prefered the single table rather than the upright non-intimate seating there did not seem to be a choice of seating available, but all in all very good, will go again regards David & Mary
The food was delicious. The staff were lovely and attentive. Quite elegant setting.
Quiet, fairly small restaurant with excellent decor.
Very accessible and polished menu with very reasonable prices.
A quiet retreat from the surrounding bustle, particularly at this time of year, with understated elegance.
What a lovely setting for a perfect night! We ate here on Saturday, only opened on Wednesday, complimentary champagne on arrival and complimentary bread, homemade!
The sirloin steak was gorgeous and my Kingfish so tasty. Nice menu not too big just right and not too expensive, $36 for a lovely steak! We were the first people to dine at our table, staff and ambience spot on!
We will be back
Beautiful food, a gorgeous restaurant and top notch service. We had a great time and will definitely come back!
Had an absolutely wonderful evening.
I highly recommend the Bebek Betutu (duck). The flavours are incredible and the meat is wonderfully tender.
The service was spectacular. Just the right level of attentiveness without being overbearing.
You made our evening. Thank you!
Wonderful value for money dinning in such a stunning room. We dined during the opening week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Went for dinner as first costumers on the opening night.
The atmosphere n decorations were stunning n make you love to go back again. Food was bit unexpected as not that fine dining food presentation n taste. Not mention the Michelin chef. Plates were bit boring. Same plates for main n desserts. But the price is not expensive. Still worth the next visit.
