Food was excellent,loved the service !

Great food! We really enjoyed everything we ate. The deviled eggs were awesome. Portions were plentiful. Staff was very friendly, service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait. I will definitely return when in town.

Food was pretty good, the shrimp and grits are always good. The waffles outshined the chicken, but was ok. The hush puppies and deviled eggs were also tasty. The ambiance is always nice, especially when you can get a window seat.

THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!! Their housemade donuts are to die for! Super yummy, great music and amazing service. We will for sure be back!

We had a blast

This place is a great little find! Tables were set up for social distancing. There are lots of windows around the dining area, which brought the natural light inside and allowed me to see all the icicles forming on the window canopies! The warm rustic brown tones inside made the atmosphere feel warm and cozy! My husband and I had a reservation for their famous Saturday Brunch. The food was plentiful, delicious and everything came out fresh and hot from the kitchen! I really enjoyed the cheddar jalapeno hush puppies and the house made donuts--they both were so tasty! I cannot wait to go back and try their dinner options.

The staff was unattentive and the Asian male manager has stereotyped me. Stating do you need hot sauce for my chicken or you should try the chicken and waffles

Food was great comfort food, just great for a cold winter's night-- the Chicken and Waffles good and the Shrimp and Grits was spot on. The place was busy due to restaurant week, which may have accounted unfortunately for the somewhat slow/inattentive service.

Tyler C is an excellent server, made great recommendations, and was very funny. The chicken & waffles is plentiful and very flavorful. The chicken was crispy. The waffle had crispy edges and was soft inside. The restaurant has excellent Covid-19 protocols and we felt comfortable. The whole staff is very friendly from the time we entered until we left. I definitely will patronize this restaurant again.

Dinner was a bit pricey for the quantity of food served, but the flavor was great. Our server was outstanding and even gave us a gift card to visit The Rub (downstairs, below HQ) since my boyfriend and I told him we hadn't tried their chicken sandwich. The manager "hovered" a bit more than we would have liked, but we could tell he was just trying to be pleasant and personable. Also LOVE that the restaurant is Black-owned. Overall great experience, and I am hoping we're able to make it back for brunch!

Food was alright. Service wasn’t good. Our server didn’t even introduce herself, wasn’t friendly. Just kinda seemed like she had to be there but didn’t want to be. Hosts were nice though.

This place has an amazing family style brunch!!! It’s very well priced considering that the food is “bottomless,” not to mention seriously delicious! Everything we had was great but I highly recommend the chicken and waffles, cheesy jalapeño hush puppies, and shrimp and grits. Wow. Just wow. Amazing food. Stellar service. Fantastic atmosphere. We can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a must try, for sure.

The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. We did the family style brunch. And bottomless mimosas. They kept everything coming without us having to wait and look for someone to bring us more food or drinks. This was my second time coming for brunch. Can’t wait to come back. I recommend this place to everyone. The chicken and waffles were outstanding!!!

Went here for a date for NYE, everything was very well. I’ve been to this restaurant previously for brunch and the service and food have been consistently great.

Food was great, however service was lacking. Server was attentive at first when their friends were at the table next to ours. Once they left we had to flag them down just to get service.

Came in Christmas Day. Husband is currently deployed in DC and we were able to come visit. Perfect meal for our holiday. Something for everyone and seasonal cocktails were delicious.
Thank you for making our holiday away from home a little more peaceful!

Hens Quarter is consistent with great service and excellent food.

Great food. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. A definite go to place.

This was my 3rd time at Hen Quarter. Prior to this I’ve had a very nice dining experience. However, this time was for my birthday and different. The concierge/host Kevin was very rude. He didn’t have a very pleasant demeanor and made it a point to tell my table that we had to be finish with our reservation at exactly 1 o’clock.

However, Jade our waitress was wonderful. She was kind, patient, and attentive. I appreciate a kind person who knows that apart of their job is to produce quality customer service and experience.

The food was good per usual, but I do hate that I had to deal with a rude host. It almost made us get up and leave, but I chose to remain calm and kind despite his attitude.
