   Staff were very welcoming, efficient and friendly. The food was exceptionally presented and the taste did not disappoint, absolute flavor bombs! Very nice ambiance, a lot of places are too noisy but they have got it just right where you are not listening to the conversation at the table next to you. The only thing I find unbelievable is that other patrons have the need to be on their mobile phones instead of immersing themselves in the experience!

   It's hard to find a fault with any aspect of the Hearth restaurant. We had the 3 course meal and overall it was excellent at every level. It wasn't cheap either but you definitely get what you pay for!

    Excellent food and service. Everything associated with the restaurant was exceptional only issue was a group across from us that were obnoxiously drunk and loud, though the situation was handled perfectly by your staff even when members of the group were arguing about the validity of their removal. 10/10 Would recommend and we will be visiting again :)

    Not the nicest place to eat given the hotel. Degustation, some plates were good, some average. Smoked butter was excellent but that would be the only thing. Waiter mixed up pouring still water into our glasses with sparkling water. Randomly was sent a congratulations cake for no reason.

    The food was pretty good. This is the second time I’ve eaten at Hearth and the food is as you would expect but probably a little overpriced. My main gripe with this place is the ambience. It’s a pretty cold and stark environment which could really do with some warming up. Wouldn’t rush back to be honest. Plenty of other great options in Perth for half the price with twice the atmosphere. The service was excellent it must be said.

    The venue is in a lovely location, with great views of Elizabeth Quay. The staff were very friendly and professional. Our meals were very good. Extensive wine list. The highlights were the Wagin duck, lamb and for dessert, the ice-cream sandwich was fantastic! However, we were disappointed we couldn't sit outside as it was such a glorious evening. The Maitre D' did explain the reasons, but it didn't make sense as other areas in the hotel had outside seating open.

    We did the Taste of Hearth degustation. All course were good although I found the wagyu course to be somewhat disappointing in that there was no obvious marbling of the meat, plus it didn't have a noticeable flavour. I prefer a cut of meat from a working part of the animal or close to the bone. The octopus and duck courses were very enjoyable. Also you get very few vegetables. Whilst it was very good overall, I think the three course menu would have been a better choice for me. Next time!

    My husband and I have dined twice previously at Hearth Restaurant and found the service and food impeccable. Since our last visit both the chef and staff have changed and last night the service was very inexperienced with a significant deterioration from our previous experience. One comment was highly offensive to our party. The restaurant was empty at 6.15 pm on our arrival as we arrived to celebrate our special friend's birthday after recently returning from overseas. On arrival we were happily seated at a booth. Five minutes later another party was seated behind us in the adjoining booth. It became quickly became quite uncomfortable being exposed to their exceptionally loud high-spirited conversation. I requested to be moved as we could not carry on a normal conversation at our table. After expressing my surprise at the seating, the group behind us in the empty restaurant. The Maître D inappropriately commented that they were just a happy people enjoying each other's company. After our move we settled into our celebration with the surrounding diners communicating normally. Despite the disappointing start to the ever were very happy with the quality of food which was creative well executed with great presentation. I would share this experience

    We joyed the 5 Course menu with the wine pairing for dinner. The food was delicious, especially the wagin confit duck! Definitely suggest getting the wine pairing with the meal. Worth it if you enjoy good wine. The dessert however was a little underwhelming as the vanilla pannacotta was a little too bland and not creamy enough. Would have preferred a berry coulis instead of the mango (but that’s my preference). Service was extremely slow to begin with (we had to wait for 15 minutes to be served, even though we caught the eye of a waitress). However after we had ordered the service was prompt and the food came out quickly. All in all we had a good evening and the restaurant is worth a visit.

    We waited over five minutes to have someone turn up at the desk to show us to our seat. 20 minutes for the beer to arrive that was ordered as we sat down. Then we ordered champagne and wine which took 20 minutes to arrive. We had to top up our wines ourselves and had to resort to sparkling water because the tap was undrinkable - if filtered there is a big problem with your filtration system. The service throughout the evening was appalling. Dirty plates sitting in front of us for 30 plus minutes. The food was less than average, the red emperor - a fish that is hard to get wrong was so over cooked it was almost inedible. The highlight of the evening was the cheese - I suggest this was the case because you only had to put it on the serving plate, therefore untouched by your staff. All this at a cost of $500 per couple. You wont be seeing the four of us again.

    This was my first time dining at Hearth. I must say, overall, I was slightly disappointed. We opted for the three course dinner. The dishes themselves were rather delicious and well presented. The pork and abalone starter was sumptuous. The fish mains was well cooked but but the portion was rather small. The lamb was particularly delicious. We had roast cauliflower and sides which was superb. For desert we had the pistachio ice cream sandwich, which was innovative, but a little disappointing. Overall, the biggest problem was that the restaurant was too cold. On a lovely balmy evening we were dressed lightly but, as often is the case in Australia, the AC was turned on so high I wished I had worn a suit. The staff were very nice and attentive but overall the value for money was less than I had hoped for.

    What a lovely experience. The tasting menu and matched wines was interesting and delicious.     Delicious food, attentive and friendly service, lovely room. Really want to highlight the service, the two waiters looking after our table did an excellent job.
