Harvester - The Horse And Groom Sidcup
Friendly staff and good food with tables that are well spaced apart
Yes it was a Saturday & yes it was Easter wkend BUT ..... at 3pm it wasn’t that busy so why was our table reserved downstairs near a family with 3/4 children shrieking Etc also all though it was a tad warmer then expected the a/c was switched on right next too us without any consultation, personally I think there should b a family area, & we should of been asked if it was ok the a/c went on ...
Food was good, service was excellent.
General tidiness and presentation around the salad area was very poor. This let down the place. There was no excuse as the place was very quiet and plenty of staff around.
This would not stop me going back to eat
Always very happy with the food and drinks. The service is friendly and efficient. Elaine is a star.
Take my granddaughters here regularly as it's their favourite restaurant, they love choosing their own salad cart , I always enjoy my meal this time I had the delicious bean burger .
Not expecting 5* but the waitresses could do less chatting to each other and more serving. Food was good for the price though and the kids loved the desserts.
We sat down and the place was very busy.
Another table were returning their food as they said it had been left standing on the counter.
There were tables waiting to be served as well as us all looking annoyed. After 20 minutes with the waitress blanking us and not even saying hello and not being offered an initial drink we walked out and left.
Went home and had a nice takeaway.
Obviously too many tables were booked than could be handled.
